Cea-Los is always my go to for sea food and comfort food. Today was not the day. I'm not sure if they changed the cook or the owner but this is not it. I called to place a pick up order and the lady on the phone was very rude. We got our food and the cabbage, collard greens and mac and cheese was super dry. Mac and cheese looked like just plain noodles with butter. We had the cat fish dinner and it had one piece of cat fish. Very fishy taste and definitely did not fill us up. The shrimp and wings were good. Won't be coming here for a while. $65 down the drain. Couldn't even finish my food. read more

Cea-Lo Cafe is a fantastic spot for Comfort Food and Soul Food. It's soooo hard to find a place that has authentic Soul Food nowadays, that isn't soaked in grease and salted to Hell. Cea-Lo's is in its on league. Cea-Lo Cafe was introduced to me by my parents. They were driving by one day and decided to give it a shot. I am so sorry to have to say this. The first time I ate the food was good, even referred some friends their, but after today I will never eat there again. Who want mush candied yams. Looks like it's straight from the can and the shrimp were over fried and mixed in with old shrimp. So people be sure to check your food before leaving. Look and taste. Terrible customer service. I literally waited 40 minutes for a fried catfish dinner, and the lady at the desk literally ignored me when I asked how much longer. This is a joke! Food is usually good, but certainly not worth the experience when there are tons of new restaurants options.
