Any Which Way You Take Your Seafood...Is All There!

Fried fish is comforting. You know right? And if you're from The BX, BK, QNS, NYC, you'd know all about those fried fish spots from back in the day. You know which ones....the ones in the most ratchet hood block you could ever imagine. But when done right, that irresistible mixture of steamy, but crispy fried fish- takes it to the top. And that's where Mega is at. Steps away from the BX 27 bus and the 6 Morrison-Soundview train Station, Mega has been whipping out- not only fried fish combos but steamed as well where you select which veggies to add to your meal. Other side has a nice variety of self-served fresh fish- nothing too big- but good enough for the basics, where it's weighed. My mom specifically likes getting the fresh, but I like diving right in with the fried. I challenge you to name a better take out meal than fried fish served between 2 Wonder bread slices. I guess some things just never go out of style.

The person who treat black people wrong and prejudice.

Been coming here over 10 years and i always get friend food with food stamps. Today someone else behind charging people for food so they wont let me use my EBT to purchase fried food. So I guess it depends who working they won't let you get fried food. I also think because this place is ran by Mexicans that they are very prejudice towards black people and they will rush your food and have you leaving with half done food.

Out of a plastic bag in the freezer, no tentacles. No options to pick fresh seafood to be fried

Meh There is not only a language barrier there is a communication barrier among employees. The place is not 100% tidy The fried fish looks very dry( cooked to order ) I asked if I can have fried whole belly clams the fry fish lady said yes the cashier said no. I had them steamed. Customer picks the Fish hands it to cashier pays then it goes to the cooks? They have a pressure steamer and a deep fryer. This place is busy!! Many people getting fresh steamed fish with an array of seasoning you put on yourself then they steam it.looked awesome. I tried the shrimp empanadas 3.00 each and worth it. Fried calamari 2 thumbs down. They are from a plastic bag in the freezer,Why? I also noticed they don't sell fresh squid or scallops. The fried scallops were fake. A huge huge variety of fresh fish on a Tuesday. That's awesome. Another note is this Covid-19 season . People are right next to each other. They have a policy they do not use. Pay get a ticket and go outside until they call you. I love that policy but no they do not use it. End

We arrived and were seated right away. Service was on point. They check on you while also letting you enjoy yourself, which is the perfect balance. Getting into the food, we ordered the shrimp tempura for our appetizer and it was really good. For our entrées, we ordered the Mommy Boil and the Mini Boil with the special Cajun medium sauce. It was so delicious. I loved everything, the potatoes, corn, shrimp, sausage, and mussels. The portions are generous too, like where can you get a $20 seafood boil? (+ $5 for sausage). After we were done, we both had leftovers. In my opinion, the Mommy Boil is more than enough for two, or you can just get two Minis. Overall, I loved my experience. I'm curious about happy hour too. The food was delicious and I will definitely be back. Thank you Baby Crab!

This was my first time ordering from Baby Crab, and I came away impressed…read more I ordered the Snow Crab Legs with the Baby Sauce (mild) and added sausage, plus the Dungeness Crab Legs with the Special Cajun sauce (mild). The pickup experience was excellent. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly, and everything was packed securely in sturdy aluminum trays. I actually arrived about 30 minutes after they said the order was ready, but the food was still piping hot thanks to the packaging. The standout was definitely the Snow Crab. The legs were large and meaty, and the boil came with plenty of potatoes, corn, and sausage. The Baby Sauce was really enjoyable: rich, buttery, slightly sweet, and only mildly spicy. Personally, I would have preferred it to lean a little saltier and less sweet, but that's just my taste. I'd happily order it again. The Dungeness crab was good, though not quite as memorable. The meat-to-shell ratio wasn't as generous as the snow crab, and I wasn't nearly as fond of the Special Cajun sauce. It wasn't bad, but it lacked the balance and flavor that made the Baby Sauce stand out. Overall, Baby Crab made a great first impression with quality seafood, generous portions, thoughtful packaging, and friendly service. I'd definitely come back... next time I'd stick with the Snow Crab and Baby Sauce. If you're in the Bronx and craving a seafood boil, it's absolutely worth a try.

I was leaving Borgatti's ravoli and asked: I just passed Tra di Noi, Nice place?…read more Oh yes, they make everything homemade. It's wonderful. That's all I needed to hear. I wasn't going to eat dinner at Yankee stadium, I'm in "The Bronx" so I head over to Arthur Avenue. Walking inside Tra di Noi, its like stepping back into the restaurants of my childhood. Red Table clothes and a chalk blackboard with all the specials listed front and center. At the corner table I see chef/owner Marco Coletta. He's sitting and just watching the operation. I see someone walked up and gave him two huge tomatoes?? I scan the menu but I know what I want, the lasagna bolognese. I also ordered a glass of Montepulciano wine. Everything comes to the table quickly. Look at my picture, I can see in the Ragu's soffritto the finely chopped carrots. It's the perfect meat sauce covered in delicate pasta sheets. Just a simple, homemade lasagna. No need to get fancy with truffle toppings. I would have liked to sample their bread basket but it was never brought to my table. Dessert, I was starting to get stuffed so I had to pass. I read about the cheesecake online, which Marco makes fresh several times a week. Next time. Last night, I enjoyed the Italian homemade cooking from Tra di Noi.
