A friend I was with saw them online and wanted to try all in all it was ok experience food is mediocre they let you write on there furniture I believe this place is really meant for the locals

The food here is fire. The $9.99 seafood boil is amazing. The potatoes dipped in the sauce was heaven. Get the bobo sauce. The Cajun dry rub wings are delicious. Crispy and flavorful. The hushpuppies were buttery and yummy. The fried lobster tails were amazing. Better than city island. We also got another seafood boil. Fantastic. Bring a pen to tag your name on the art furniture.

Over priced and false advertising. Not to mention everything has the same seasoning. Ordered two crab cakes they charged me $25 when the menu clearly says two crab for $12.95. Has does two average size mediocre crab cakes cost more then the meals , fry baskets and pasta. This is fast food not a high end restaurant, mom and pop diners have better service, better prices , and better quality of food. Bobos is a No No.

The worse shrimp place I ever eaten!!! Food was very greasy and salty. A waste of money, not good for the prices they charge. Never again

We ordered a kalbi burger with gumbo and a kimchi jambalaya. The flavor was just amazing. A medium cook on the meat was so juicy and very well seasoned. The gumbo was just perfection. It really shows in every order What impressed me even more--tonight I ordered delivery all the way to Uptown Manhattan (over 30 minutes away ), and the food still arrived tasting just as fresh and delicious as dining in. That's not easy to pull off, but they nailed it. That said, if you can dine in, I highly recommend it--especially the Combo 5 lbs seafood platter for $130 . My friend and I shared the Snow Crab Leg and Shrimp with Cajun Mix and corn and potatoes. The service was very responsive and available for any questions. The decor of the restaurant was very pretty as well. The only thing is I live in Brooklyn & I'm not sure if it was worth the trip for me. I definitely recommend to those that live in the area.

The service was excellent - attentive, friendly and made our evening special. The manager was super friendly as well and made sure we enjoyed everything. The non-alcoholic drinks were so good that I ordered 3 of them. The only thing I wish is that they had some traditional crawfish étouffée on the menu! It's my favorite dish. Will definitely return here soon!

The lobster is a little chewy, but the spicy claws were very flavorful. All of the crab had so much meat and the seasonings were all amazing. Surprisingly, the iron steak was one of our favorites despite this being a seafood spot. The waiter did say to just check mark the paper instead of quantities, but they end up bringing you 2 of everything you order. The sweet & spicy fish is also very solid, garlic noodles were buttery, and even their iced tea was super refreshing. Could not recommend this place more!! Bonus: they play a great 2000s throwback playlist that got us singing along and dancing while we were peeling all our seafood to pass the time. Shoutout to whichever employee put that playlist together!

**CASH ONLY** The…read moreBoil is the best "Cajun" style boil restaurant in NYC and believe me, I've gone to quite a few. If you're a huge Boiling Crab fan from the West Coast, then this will be your equivalent on the East Coast. You can't come to this place if you don't like seafood, don't even try. When I have a hankering for shrimp or crab (or crawfish if it's in season), you'll find me here happily sucking on some tasty critters slathered in the Boil Special sauce with just the right amount of heat and washing it down with an ice cold beer. My favorite combo is the Queen Combo which is either 1 pound of shrimp or crawfish with a cluster of snow crab legs. One of these days I'm going to splurge for the king crab legs but last time I went, they were sold out. Those suckers are huge! For your sides, make sure to get an order of the Cajun fries which you can use to dip in all that tasty sauce. I also get an order of the vermicelli noodles which I know is way too much food, but I don't care. I will literally use my hands and fingers to plop those noodles into the bag, and use my fork to twirl it on up into my mouth slathered in sauce. I'm at The Boil to be a glutton, not a saint. Please be warned that their sauce has so much garlic in it that you will be burping, sweating, and literally farting garlic for the next 24 hours. Would not advise this place as a first date, maybe not even a 5th or 10th but they gotta see that side of you eventually but do so at your own risk. It's funny I remember the original location on the LES years ago and it was always a long wait to get into. With this NOHO location there's more than enough space, and you can also make reservations ahead of time which I am a huge fan of. The only downside though is that it's cash only, but the other locations aren't. Oh and they have Happy Hour! Huzzah. From open to 6:30pm Monday through Friday you can get specials on raw oysters, clams, select beers, and $12 margaritas. Come hungry, leave garlicky.

From the moment I…read morewalked in, the room struck that elusive balance New York diners crave laid-back but buzzing, with a live band lending just enough rhythm to keep the energy lifted without overwhelming the table. The service matched the mood: polished, attentive, and genuinely warm, the kind that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. The menu reads like a love letter to Creole indulgence, and I didn't hold back. The French toast arrived as a golden, impossibly soft, and rich with butter, dissolving on contact like a sweet airy cloud. It's the sort of dish that makes you briefly consider abandoning decorum and slipping into the kitchen to kiss the chef. Equally compelling were the grilled oysters and shrimp skewers, both deeply seasoned and cooked with precision. The oysters carried a smoky char that played beautifully against their natural brininess, while the shrimp snapped with freshness and spice. The crawfish Benedict followed suit, offering a clever twist on the classic: a perfectly poached egg perched atop a tender crawfish patty, all brought together by a hollandaise that felt distinctive without trying too hard silky, slightly tangy, and memorable. And then there are the mimosas; bright, balanced, and flowing freely thanks to a server who never let a glass sit empty for long. In a city overflowing with brunch contenders, this spot manages to stand out. It's confident without being flashy, indulgent without being excessive, and absolutely worth a visit.

The place was crowded, but we got a table on the second floor right away. For appetizers, we ordered the Honey Chili Brussels Sprouts and the Cajun Shrimp Skewers. Both were delicious with a ton of flavor. 5/5 for appetizers. For my entree, I had the Cornmeal-crusted Black Sea Bass. It was also really good. The fish was seared perfectly, the vegetables and lemon butter sauce combined with it perfectly. 4.5/5 for entree. For dessert, we shared the Hummingbird cake. I enjoyed the cake filling, which was coffee flavor, more than the rest of the cake. 4/5 for dessert. I think next time I might order the Beignets or Bread Pudding. The atmosphere gets a 5/5 for me. And the service was very good. I think this is a great restaurant to experience the New Orleans vibe without leaving NYC.
