This is a place that I've frequented over the last 15 years. This day In particular I was craving shrimp cocktail. I came in and was seated immediately. The waiter came over within 2 minutes. I placed my order and the shrimp cocktail came out within minutes. The shrimp were cold like they should be. & shrimp cocktail tasted great! I also was given a lemon to drizzle all over the 5 shrimp. The shrimp were gone before it started Ha! Delicious! Would recommend! :) read more

Had lunch here. Our waitress was super kind. We got a nice booth by the window and was served quite quickly. My friend ordered the henny wings and fries on the side. i had the lunch special half chicken with honey basted sauce and a side of ranch (a must). We both ordered a small bowl of the turkey chilli and my son had the chicken tenders with fries. We all loved everything. So fresh and delicious. Will be back! read more

I've been coming to this location for years. Food is always great and so is the service. It's difficult to find parking in this area but after eating and drinking, it's worth the headache read more

Tasty as always.Every time I visit NY from DC I have to hit this spot.I got the shrimp and Sticky wing combo. Also had a big drink called nut cracker something. My son had the onion bacon burger with fries. The food was on point, as always. My drink should've been a little stronger. I feel like the Patron bottle that was flipped over in my drink was just sour mix or a Margarita mix. I think it made my drink too juice like. Wish it would've been a regular shot instead. But nothing bad to say about this place. read more

The service was good but my food was partially cold. I had to send my wings back to be reheated as well as one other person in our group. My daughter ordered the steak & fries which were room temperature but she ate it because she was hungry at the time. My daughter did mention her food wasn't that great. My food was tasty just not hot and the other 2 people in our party said there food okay not as good as they remember. The ambiance is a western setting. read more

Came here for a farewell celebration of a friend who is moving out of state. I still don't care for this particular location but I have to say, it's really good because it can accommodate a large crowd. The prices still remain affordable. The drinks are always good, but I just think they need to get a remodel. The atmosphere is so uncomfortable because it just doesn't feel like a clean reasurant, in my opinion. I like BBQs, just not this location. read more

Lunch was provided for those that I work with as a generous gift. I am grateful to have been given the opportunity to try the food from this restaurant location. I ordered the steak and rice. The food was delicious and I loved how the steak was prepared. The fat to meat ratio was perfect. The rice was a little bland but still good. I would recommend adding seasoning to the rice, but the steak was juicy and prepped well. Overall the food was pretty good. Share review read more

I ordered from here today and I'm pretty disappointed. I've always ordered the turkey burger with baked potato and today it just came super gross and undercooked. The flavor of the turkey burger tasted like cardboard. The baked potato tasted like play dough. I'm really upset. I won't order from here again. read more

I have been to Dallas many times. I been to this location the most of all of them I been to. The only issue I've ever could say was a bad experience with any of them is that they don't have their own parking. They do not have their own parking. And you know parking in NY. The service is excellent, bathroom clean, the food is of great proportions. All the food is not the very best. However, those Sticky Wings are, in my opinion, the very best you will ever taste. What a way to end my 2023. Then enjoying Sticky wings. See you next year Dallas. read more

BBQ'S is always the go-to to have a big a$% drink and go home feeling nice!. This time the food wasn't that good the baby back ribs was dry and cooked hard, cornbread was too thick, it was just a mess. Our server was so nice and pleasant. We will always go back, but I will try something else next time. The drinks are always de bomb.com... we were at the Fordham Road location. read more

Been to a few Bbqs within my days living in NY.. mostly love the one in downtown Brooklyn! But this one does the body good! Who can go wrong with some Huge wings and Texas size drinks.. It was an all around terrible experience. I ordered a beef rib and BBQ chicken combo. The beef rib was hot around the edges and cold on the inside The BBQ quarter was tiny. Everything seemed as if from a microwave. The onion loaf was raw on the inside. We returned that back to the kitchen. We ordered one drink, somehow two came out. I was charged for the onion loaf and had to remind the waitress to remove it from the bill. Also, on a Sunday night the place was empty. No atmosphere. I remember Dallas BBQ used to be awesome back in the day. read more

First time ordering from a Dallas BBQ in The Bronx through UberEats. The food came in great packaging. I liked the tote bag it came. The only thing I didn't like was that I had asked for a specific type of cheese and they got it wrong. Also the fries were a bit soggy but still edible. Thank god I wasn't allergic to it! Stopped by here on a whim after a day in the city. I didn't take pictures but still wanted to leave a review. The food is delicious. Everything from the ceasar salad to the honey basted chicken, the food is great and an amazing value for what you get. $17 and I got a half of a chicken, 6fried shrimps, a huge piece of cornbread, and fries. Service was where the place lost a point. We were seated by the manager, that was fine. He took our order and then disappeared. We had another waiter come but the poor guy had so many tables and so we fell by the wayside for awhile. Ambiance is a loud and busy family friendly place! Only downside is the bathrooms are up two flights of pretty steep stairs so be prepared! read more

So I would not normally review a place like this because with most places that are a chain they can be hit or miss. I have come here numerous times and I honestly come for the Honey Sticky Wings. I usally do not get a cocktail because the frozen drinks are not my thing and they are huge and simply way too filling. However I decided to order a frozen drink and I am sooooooo disappointed. I get being environmental conscious however who said it was cool to use paper straws who wants a decomposing straw in their drink.......I will do my part to save the earth however it should not have to be at the sacrifice of a cocktail. Luckily I had Dunking Donut in the morning and had extra straws in my purse. Other than the paper straws....I give this place a struggling 3....its like an Applebee's or Friday's....nothing to write home about. But if you are going.....get the wings...you cant go wrong. read more

I've eaten at this location pre-covid multiple times. As of lately I've been ordering delivery.  Love that i can order pina colada(without liquor but i add my own at home..yass). The pina coladas are always good.  My family and i mostly order the same thing from here.  Husband will get the wings or hot wings and the mac and cheese. The wings are really BIG. We always get the small order because the BIG tub is too much.  The mac is really creamy and also has chopped bacon which is so GOOD. It could use more cheese. You can def tell that they used processed cheese. If they added some real shredded cheese, that would top the cake.  I always get the Classic Combo, it comes with ribs, half chicken with honey and fried shrimp. I usually get the baked potato. The chicken is so good with the honey based sauce. Its the only way ill eat it. The ribs are okay to me but my kid absolutely loves them. The shrimps are really tasty and crispy.  This last time i also ordered the Mini Onion Loaf.  It was okay. I wouldnt order this again but it was good to try. Its super super thin pieces of onions. Reminds me of the shoe string onions people put on burgers.  I always order extra pieces of corn bread. Its really good especially with their butter.  Overall, I'll keep ordering from here. read more

I used to go to BBQ's all the time when I was younger, and I've always felt like their food was very bland especially the big humongous chicken wings. For years I stopped coming here just because I like better tasting quality food and BBQ's just wasn't doing it for me, but recently we tried to get in to the club next door and it was closed. So my sisters decided they wanted BBQ's now I'm not party pooper so I went along with them. I started not to get anything but I said ummmmm I haven't had them in a while let me try again. I had tostones, salmon cakes, and shrimp my sisters had the sticky tenders and rice and cornbread (cornbread was theeeee bomb. The other sister had the huge chicken wings and a side of bake Mac and cheese with bacon bites. Chicken still didn't have much flavor as I remembered from before but my food was delicious so I wasn't worried. now I must say the shrimp was very very good couldn't believe it the crab cakes I couldn't enjoy because they were burnt but that wasn't the cook's fault, and the tostones were deliciously hot and right on the money and it came with the sauce which i absolutely love. Over all it wasn't as bad as I thought. read more

If you want cold food which you expect to be hot, this is the place to choose! Pay attention to the other reviews: Food is cold, appetizers and main course came out together, food is ordinary, wait staff never monitored the water or whether we wanted anything else. Bathroom could use attention, there was an empty toilet paper roll along with another that was half full. Ambiance is nothing special, no one really welcomes you or says goodbye. Very disappointed. How can one eat a cold hamburger? Must have been waiting in the kitchen waiting to be served. Find someplace else, this doesn't do it. read more

The food was ready very quickly. I ordered it to go. The hostess was accommodating not like co-op city where they barely give any sticky sauce when you pay for it. La comida fue fea nos sirvieron todo frío la carne muy dura las costillas demasiado cocinadas no había que comer

Yesterday i was feeling great and decided to go to BBQ with my family. I ate ribs, baked potato and cornbread and topped it off with a regular size Moscato mama with a shot. I ate all my food and only drank a half glass of my moscato mama, never touching the shot. As I was walking out the establishment I instantly started to not to feel well. As my family and I crossed the street from BBQ I suddenly fainted not once but twice and scrapped up my knee. When my family finally got me together, I had stomach cramps and wanted to puke. I looked over to see my mom on the verge of experiencing the same exact thing. She also had stomach cramps after drinking the same exact thing that I had. My sister and brother in law was absolutely fine because they didn't have what we did. I don't know whether it was the alcohol or the food. But I think it's something that BBQ's should look into. It's one thing to do heavy drinking and black out but that was not the case. I didn't drink enough of it to even get a buzz. I doubt I'll ever go back to that location because I can't trust that I won't experience that again. read more

This was a take-out order. The onion loaf was either old or overcooked (see pictures). It's a "Shame" that we have to go downtown to a Dallas BBq's to get decent food. Anything above 96th Street and the Bronx, NY is a risk. The Department of Health should really get involved. I received this order from the Dallas BBQ's in the Bronx, NY (Fordham Road). Please check your take-out orders before leaving the store. From my experience most restaurants will give bad or old food in takeout orders, knowing that the customer most likely won't return when they get home. I thank God for sites like Yelp and Trust Pilot. Consumers are losing money and wasting food because of very bad managed restaurants, and these restaurants should not get away with it. There's no excuse for serving bad food (old, burnt/over-cooked, under-cooked etc.). Something needs to be done... read more

4 stars for the wings, the chilli, and the drinks. (Hennessey wings are my fave.) That's all I usually order because with anything else, I seem to end up disappointed. To me, the other food is never really that great, but they do have some new menu items that I will likely try in the future. This time I tried the angry shrimp. Good choice , but nothing to rave about. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes it's great sometimes not so much. Was debating on a 3 or 4 star rating because changes are being made @ bbq. Something doesn't seem to be the same. Maybe they are changing recipes bcuz the wings are still good but taste differently and I remember years ago, the chilli was accompanied by cornbread not a bag of Doritos. Hopefully it doesn't go downhill read more

I like this location; the restaurant is huge. The food was good, except for the steak that came with the dinner of the day. I asked for everything well done, and it came out pink and chewy; it really was a cheap cut of steak. I loved the pina coladas. The waitress was friendly, but extremely slow... Maybe it was not her fault, since she seemed to be the only person working. The food took extremely long to arrive. Then, we had to walk to the front to pay for our food since she took forever to come get the payment. read more

Lunch in the Bronx workplace calls for takeout order. While scanning Dallas BBQ's website food menu, I opt for: crispy shrimp (12 pcs) -- with tartar sauce, corn bread and butter, yellow rice, cole slaw and Ginger Ale soda + one red, white, blue mini cupcake because it is Memorial Day holiday weekend totals $14.14 Shrimp were rather small amid being fried and battered. I prefer steam shrimp and large size. The yellow rice was good-- thankfully not salty. The mini cupcake was good. We decided to pickup our multi orders rather wait for delivery due to the length of time. Portion size for shrimp and rice are abundant. read more
