If you see this food truck around holla at me - It's a must on sight every time, ya heard? So wash your hands and get ready to dirty them right up. In all my downright diverse and delicious days I've somehow not plugged my tush down and chomped down on some of dis cuisine. This truck got a smell that makes your own cheeks melt. Makes your tongue split and saliva drip uncontrollably. I'm getting some kilig feelin' just thinkin bout it rolling up near my way again. Lemme portray my purview for ya. Spend a day in my brain - Ha - You wish. You can pretend by play time always come to an end, don't it? Buncha clowns you are. But anyways... back to the basics Linguini. Where was I? That's right. It's 5:30pm my hands are up and I'm digging my right big toe into the pedal on my four wheel mid-sized car mobile. I don't bother with the breaks - There are none. A truck I dear so near. A heart so large I can cut a couple pieces of and feed em'. But if I did, would it regrow? I'm no scientist... but I better speak to CRISPR bout this. Shoutout Casgevy. Sickle cell who? Yeeee. I pull up on two wheels (my feet), like the bipedal I am, and wait in line cordially. I bite my lower lip a few times. Lean against a nearby lamp post. Stretch my glutes. Ooof I'm tight. And then I get a clear way to order. I've probably had it all by now. Some of dat Huli Huli, Lumpia, Sisig. Pork skewers are my fav. Loaded fries slap. The flavas here are simply unmatched. Garlicky, tangy, lively. Juicy, tender and unique. Intricate and elaborate yet straight out of a truck and over a bed of rice. Color me impressed (I look good in neutrals). Never once had a bad meal. And each time, in fact, had a top meal. Probably the best food truck I've had in the area and that's saying something. The truck was at Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry, Westchester, when I visited a resident today. It seems that the little cafe on the premises is undergoing renovations and the food truck was brought in so visitors and staff alike could buy food. I've never had Filipino food before and decided on the Loaded Steak Fries. It was freshly made as I waited and the server (owner?) was wonderfully friendly. I brought it home to eat and it was truly tasty and delicious- and amazingly was still hot despite the 20 minute journey. My only complaint is that I found it to be extremely salty - and I do not shy away from salt in my food. read more

Not sure I had the full and best experience. I had been spying this place for a bit and unfortunately had not had the time to get there. Friday evening was my last chance as they were nearing the end of their stay at Cross County Mall... I didn't want to wait for the last day. The gentleman behind the counter was not all that friendly nor engaging, but for good food I'd interact with a rabid pit bull so that was not a deal breaker but not a great start. Trouble started when everything I ordered they were out of. Out of Chicken Adobo? The Philippine national dish? How? I took what they had and paid the man, who reluctantly admitted he didn't prep much as Sunday was his last day. Still not acceptable but at least I understood. The dishes are filling, you won't go hungry. I lived in a community that had a large population of Philippine people so I am familiar with the food. This was hit or miss. Lotta rice to fill you up and would have preferred more protein. Orders are $17 each. The loaded fries were outstanding, the Hawaii chicken a bit too saucy and the pork was good. I didn't get to have the dishes I wanted so I was judging the food on things I didn't really crave... but it wasn't bad. I just wasn't wowed. Food truck. Currently a cross county mall during the weekends. Serves filipino bbq with lots of pork and beef dishes. Platters are about $15 each. Quoted 10 min wait but it was over 30 min. That really was super annoying. Once the food arrived, everything was warm, but i wasnt a fan of any of the meats. The meat is just way too fatty and i feel like there is more fat than meat. Between the wait and the meats - i wasn't a fan. The lumpia rolls were good, thats the only thing i would reorder. read more

Flippino/ Hawaiian cuisine on the go, Yum, food vendors on Friday night at Ardsley district , took the fam out. Had to try their food. And the fam loved it, the lumpia egg roll made fresh , the rice with garlic very tasty, the chicken skewers , delicious , the egg on top of the pork had a nice touch. The taco had a bite with a crispy shell. . The service was a decent time in an open atmosphere. 1st come 1st service . It was popping that evening with a live band. We went to Cross County Mall on Dec 21st just to get food from here. As soon as we arrived home, we unpacked the food and realized we did not receive one of our four orders. I texted the number I previously called to find out where in Cross County they were located, letting them know what happened. I immediately received a response with a sincere apology and asked what was missing. They offered to have someone deliver it to me or get a refund. I asked for a refund and they credited my credit card right away. We will definitely be back! The food we did have was delicious. The customer service was superb, top-notch! I totally appreciate that. This was our order: 2 orders of the Hawaiian Smoked Beef BBQ, 3 pork isaw sticks, 1 order of lumpia and 1 order of crispy bagnet (Lechon Kwali). Yum! read more

I just came from Yum Bros food truck @Shearwood Station, and the smell of the food cooking was definitely delicious, and I ordered chicken BBQ rice bowl. I have to say it was delicious and very yummy home cooking or going to the aunts house for dinner or BBQ. The server took my order, and in 8 minutes, I had my food. The Hawaiian chicken was doused in sauce crisped to perfection with amazingly seasoned lettuce and rice. There was a secret sauce that made the Lumpia even more tasty. I was visiting harbor Island park to check out the beach and I am so glad to stumbled upon this new food truck in town! I believe it was their soft opening first time I tried their food. It was good I keep coming back (it is a bit of a drive from my work, but totally worth it!). The staff at Yumbro are attentive and friendly. They provide helpful recommendations and are knowledgeable about the dishes, ingredients, and flavors. the menu offers a diverse selection of Asian-inspired dishes, combining flavors and ingredients from various Asian cuisines. There are options for vegetarians as well, making it inclusive for all. The skewers rice bowls were very well marinated pork, and chicken (chef's kiss to this). The kawali loaded fries comes with a unique orange sauce and mouthwatering combination. Dishes were beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's attention to detail. The vibrant colors and thoughtful plating added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. Considering the quality of the food, and service, the prices were very reasonable. Food is really good. We've had their food several times. Last time it seemed they were sticking with traditional Filipino dishes which were great. This time it seems they have branched out a little and made it a little more fusion. We had a really nice Pork Chop with calamansi seasoning, some really nice rice and okra and short ribs as well. We had lumpia, huli huli chicken, and the bbq pork skewers from the truck at the Gotham game today. Everything was absolutely amazing. The chicken reminded me of my time on Oahu. Pork bbq was bomb!! I'll definitely go back just for the pork bbq alone! Super juicy and yummy! It comes with a side salad and some pickled cucumbers. Portions are good too! They came to our apartment building today, and I'm glad the management asked them to come. I ordered the loaded lechon kawali, and it was tasty and a good value for the money. The food was prepared fresh, but it was done pretty quickly. The two guys running the truck are really nice so I would say the experience was a very good one. read more
