Lunch Combo
Tommy H.

I was craving for some Filipino food so decided to order for carry out here. Lunch combination includes rice with two selections and a bottle of water for 10 dollars and some change. The selections of dishes were limited in comparison to other Filipino restaurants but they still have the staple options. It was my first time here but the lady behind the counter was patience and explained everything to me. The food overall was quite tasty and it definitely hit the hot. I like my garlic rice to taste really garlicky but too bad this was more on the mild side but it was still good nonetheless. I will definitely return to the other options and maybe their halo halo. The restaurant is very small inside with only a few seatings available.

The food is sooooo freaking good!! Wow! There is such a great selection of savory Filipino food. I highly recommend.

Halo halo and lumpia

Went to satisfy my halo halo crave and lumpia on the side, heavenly pinoy treat combination. Owner is always nice and service is quick, they have been in this corner for awhile and now an icon in this town. Definitely a MUST place to visit when around town.

Their food is delicious. They make homemade longanisa that they sell also for you to take home. Their breakfast platters range from $9 up which also includes drinks. Limited seating indoors, and they are not wheelchair accessible. Street parking and additional parking available behind the restaurant. Minimum purchase of $10 if you pay by Credit Card. Very friendly people work here. I will return back and try their lunch selections. I recommend this place in Bergenfield NJ

Lumpia

Best lumpia I've ever had - hands down. It's one of those few foods you can serve and everyone will eat it - toddlers to grandparents. As an appetizer or as part of the meal, it always hits the spot.

Clean place and welcoming staff. I came here for breakfast and ordered tapsilog, tocilog, and one pork bbq. Food was good but would only choose to eat here again if we were already in the area. Both the tapsilog and tocilog were sweeter than other restaurants I've been too. I also didn't know our breakfast came with water/soda/coffee until I started reading the other reviews today. We didn't bother asking since it's usually mentioned upon ordering. Other than that, the food selection is minimal but they do have short orders as well. Breakfast is served all day as mentioned in the other reviews which is a plus. They also host kamayan nights, price varies depending on the number of people attending and food choices.

Went for Breakfast Food - 5/5. The breakfast here is entirely Filipino, which was a nice change of pace from the usual western breakfast. The beef is sweet and savory, the rice is stir-fried well and the egg is a nice over medium. The food is rich and heavy on the oil and I wish they had some palate cleansers like atchara but overall the food is delicious. Service - 4/5. They are very friendly and the food comes out fast. The restaurant is self service and bottled water is usually offered with a meal. Value - 5/5. $7 for a rich breakfast is a great deal. They have many choices of protein as well. A great value! Parking - Parking Lot (Free), Street (Free)

If you are in Bergenfield and like Filipino food, this is one of the best places to get some. This is one of my go to places to get Filipino breakfast and they serve it all day. I typically get the tapsilog whenever I go here. The woman that works at the cashier is also really nice!

Yo! This food is famous to Filipino area. They call it Tapsi! A beef with fried rice and eggs. If you got low budget try this.

Mama Fina's House of Filipino Sisig - Pork sisig with garlic rice

Mama Fina's House of Filipino Sisig

I've heard of Mama Finas from friends for their famous sisig. When you walk in, you go directly to…read morethe counter to order and they will bring your food to you. It is very casual. - Pork Sisig (5/5): some of the best Sisig I've had. The pork belly is SO crispy even after we were almost done eating! The sauce wasn't too overpowering and heavy. Loved the fresh zing of the red onions. The spicy one is the way to go. - Garlic Fried Rice (4.5/5): I could eat this on its own. So good. The rice was a bit mushy but otherwise great taste - Kare-kare (4/5): a soupier variation of the peanut based sauce I've tried. The oxtail chunks were tender, but all sliced really thin and very few pieces of each. Also lacking a bit in the green beans and okra- flavor was good though. I like the Sisig the best. Only a bit bummed by the high price and small portion sizes

Came here on a Friday afternoon. I been to the other location a while back, it's brighter space in…read moreHackensack. I got the bbq pork with garlic rice ($17.75). On the menu it says 2 sticks but it came with 4. The pork was sweet and has a nice char on it for a Smokey taste. I tried their spaghetti and it was surprisingly really good. Not sure if it's Filipino spaghetti but whatever it is, def something I will get in my next visit. I think there is a parking lot in the back? I saw a customer come through the back. I tried their sisig years ago in their old location, I'm assuming they are using the same recipe which was good. If you haven't tried their spaghetti with fried chicken, I highly recommend that dish, especially if you are hungry. * Street parking * Filipino Grocery store inside * Coffee/Drink station available
