I found this place thru UberEats and I've been hooked ever since. Some items are not always consistent, but I like the menu offerings. Typically, I order the chicken poppers and a side of rasta pasta. The chicken poppers are always and I mean ALWAYS cooked perfectly. They are basically smaller versions of chicken tenders. Whenever they arrive to me, they're fried crispy and hot, then tossed it whatever sauce I request. I usually get the honey BBQ sauce but lately I've been testing others and baybeeeee, they have a nice selection! I fell in love with the honey garlic sauce. Whenever I receive my food, it melts nicely onto the chicken, making it sticky sweet. Now, the rasta pasta could use some work. The first time I got it, it was very greasy and lacked flavor. It almost tased like a hot pasta salad, the kind you would get at a cookout or deli. The next time I ordered it, it was perfect. It had a subtle creaminess to it with perfectly cooked bell peppers and a subtle jerk seasoning or something close to it. Third time I ordered it, it was back to subpar. I'll still order it, in hopes that its just as good as that second time. On another note, I've had the mac n' cheese with oxtail. I wasn't a huge fan of the mac n' cheese. It was creamy but there was no pull to the cheese, which I prefer, therefore it kind of fell flat to me. The oxtail however, was heavenly. Very tender with delicious flavor. I also liked that they offer it off the bone. Finally, I would pass on their french fries. They are regular pre-frozen fries, nothing spectacular. My second visit on a Thursday afternoon around 5pm. I order the 20 wings special for $20 I try the mango flavored and the sweet chili since I enjoyed the sweet chili sauce last time. I order Cajun fries which I didn't enjoy. Some of my fries had Cajun season while most of it with plain fries. For a new establishment I strongly believe that each order should be made with sufficient amount of ingredients and passion. It shows when your passionate about the kitchen. read more

White plains road have a lot of competitive restaurants close by. But it all depends on what your in the mood for. Sauce Boss Wings is definitely worth the trip to the Bronx!! Very clean and organized franchise. Excellent customer service and professionalism. Delicious fresh made to order food. I waited about 12 minutes for my food but it was worth the wait. Fresh well season chicken. Right amount of sauce and rich flavor. I really enjoyed the sweet chili wings. The honey jerk wasn't bad but the sweet chili was my favorite. I would definitely be back!! This place is mainly a take out spot, but I'm not from the city so I had to dine-in before hitting the road. They have a small seating area and were playing the jams when we came in. Great customer service. I ordered the mac and cheese with oxtails, honey jerk wings, a side of plantains, and house made lemonade. The lemonade? So good! They ran out right after my order so I couldn't get another. I also ordered my daughter a side of fries and chicken tenders. The wings were delish - fresh and crispy, hot and flavorful. The oxtails on the mac and cheese was an interesting experience. There was a nice helping of the oxtail on top of the mac and the mac was good, but the oxtail wasn't seasoned to my liking. I don't think I'd get the mac with meat on top again. My daughter didn't seem to like her tenders and when I took a closer look, they seemed to be Chicken strips that were very lightly breaded and heavily sauced to the point of the breading coming off. I ordered the oxtail and Rasta pasta and although the flavor SLAPS the portions DID NOT, especially for the price of it . I had mostly bone in my Rasta pasta and the meat did NOT fall off into the pasta it just wasn't there. It was gravy and pasta as if I got the very last of whatever was in the pan. I wanna start by saying there service was very quick! It was easy and convenient. They're operating out of bronx food corp so we didn't get to sit down and experience the storefront, only the food. The prices were also very high with a 6 piece wing combo starting at $17. Honestly the food was okay. The honey jerk wing flavor was good however the wings were not fried crispy. The buffalo garlic wings were a bit underwhelming. The french fries were also soggy but the cajun seasoning was good. The mac & cheese wasn't that good either. Most of the cheese was on top of the noodles and not throughout the dish. Overall we say 2.5/5 but we gave 3 out of respect for them building their business. Though these guys don't have a sit-down restaurant, the food travels very well. Hubby and I ordered the Oxtail Mac n Cheese and added a small side of Yellow Brick Road Wings. Damn that was so freaking good!! The macaroni and cheese was super cheesy and gooey, but the Oxtail just took this already comforting plate to another level. The wings were crispy and tangy. Service, nice they are so nice and they won't argue back with you, ambiance, it's not a sit down place but you can get ur food as soon as you get there for pick up. I ordered wings with garlic parmesan sauce, but the sauce didn't taste anything like garlic. The wings weren't cooked through or crispy, so they ended up being chewy and soggy.
