Really enjoyed the food and service here! The ambiance is beautiful. Bòn Italia is a local coffee…read moreshop and restaurant, across from Bayview Village Shopping Mall. There is parking underground at the condo, or simply park across and walk over. Food is made to order, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend their Insalata Burrata Fresca (salad), Roman Feast pizza and Veal Parmagiano pasta. But tbh, all items are great! And don't forget about desserts ;) They also have LLBO, so you can enjoy a wine, cocktail, or mocktail with your meal as well.

The interior is sleek and modern and the staff are friendly but as other reviews mentioned can be a little forgetful ... sometimes we had to remind them more than once of a drink or a small request. However the staff are very sweet and always seem to be excited about their food and drinks and love talking about anything new on their menu ... really enjoyed the croissants that comes with pistachio, chocolate, and I believe Nutella, and that they can make immediately for you if they've run out of a certain flavor. They have pastries, wine, a big coffee menu, sandwiches, and pasta. There's some street parking and if you don't mind walking across the street there's plenty of spots at Bayview Mall. They also have free underground parking but it's a bit of a guessing game to get to the first time ... if you go behind their building parallel to Sheppard is Thomas Clark Way. If you're facing north towards their building on Thomas Clark Way then the parking driveway is part of the building to the left of the church, the parking garage door is actually perpendicular to Thomas Clark Way. There's a few parking areas on that road so it's hard to find the first time but once you get it then it's really convenient especially in the winter - the restaurant is right there. Highly recommended for the great staff and casual yet elegant vibe.

I overlooked the fact that this was inside an apartment building and went in on a Sunday evening so they barely had any empty seats... a nice group hurried and left so we could grab a table. We ordered the ube coffee, strawberry matcha latte and a mocktail which I don't remember the name of. We also got a choco chip cookie which was the best I've ever had. I don't think it was a cookie it was probably something different but it tasted so yum! The drinks were also really good and I liked how pretty the straws looked lol, very aesthetic. Oh and we also ordered a spinach and artichoke pastry which was very well done as well!

I didn't notice if they have power outlets. If they have, then it's a good place to work or study. The only problem is that their chairs weren't ergonomic, so I needed to stand up and walk around to ease the pain in my back Although I don't live in that area, I found that there were many regular customers coming into this small cafe. I found the baristas often recognized people and knew their favourite cafe, or had some small talk. Therefore, I think it's a better cafe than Starbucks, lol
