One of my favourite Vietnamese sandwich spots! They have a great selection of Vietnamese subs, fresh rolls, drinks, desserts, and other snacks. There's also some seating available, and the service is usually pretty quick. The pork sandwich is definitely my go-to. The subs are nice and long, the meat is really well-seasoned, and the portions are generous for the price. It's honestly hard to beat the value here. Their dessert drinks are also really good and make a great pairing with the sandwiches. I've come back several times now for takeout subs and drinks, and I'll definitely continue coming back. Bright, clean little Vietnamese spot in Scarborough with very reasonable prices. We tried the crispy pork and cold cut bánh mì, and both were really good. The crispy pork was our favourite, and even my toddler really enjoyed it! The Buy 3 Get 1 Free deal on the cold cut bánh mì is also great value. We also tried the bánh ít ram. The filling was generous and the price was good, but unfortunately the bottom wasn't as crispy as I expected, so that one wasn't my favourite. One thing to keep in mind for families: there's no customer washroom, high chair/booster or changing table, so I think this spot is better for takeout if you're visiting with young kids. Went yesterday to get Bánh Ít Ram since a friend told me this place had it. Of course picked up Banh Mi as well. The Bánh Ít Ram was very tasty! The bottom was crispy and the middle part was filled with shrimp and other filling. Banh Mi was pretty standard in comparison to other places that sell similar food. Only wish they actually filled the Iced Coffee to the top though. Didn't grab other items from their open fridge, but there's also a variety of snacks and dessert. Service was very good and the staff working the counter was very helpful and friendly. Bonus was that they gave a free Banh Mi as well! Definitely more of a takeout spot. There are 2 tables with 2-3 seats at each one. But most people were just sitting there waiting for their orders as opposed to dining in. Stumbled upon this shop while waiting for my kids to visit the cat cafe next door. Had the Banh it ram , their steam bun with meat, quail egg and salted egg yolk and a Vietnamese coffee . The steam bun is ok, not my type of filling. It was my first time trying bahn it ram, it was yummy, the soft mochi has shrimps and pork inside, and it sits in top of crunch fried mochi. The Viet coffee was nice and strong and I asked for half condensed milk which was perfect for me! Will want to go back and try their sandwiches . read more

They currently have a promotion for their cold cut banh mi. It is buy 3 get 1 free which makes it $4.50 per sandwich. So I ended up getting 4 banh mi's and a Vietnamese ice coffee for $5. Service was very friendly and prompt. Seating is very limited but most people were just ordering take out. I didn't eat them immediately but they still tasted really good after sitting in the fridge. I highly recommend you ask them to leave the pickled veggies on the side and just add them in yourself when you do decide to eat them. They also did not skimp out on the meat at all. This store is tucked away on the south side of silver star blvd. Found in the same plaza as a petite Colline and a cat cafe. The Banh mi's are quite affordable as are the rolls. We tried several items. 1) Pork sausage Banh mi - this was supposed to be a grilled pork Banh mi but the kitchen got the order wrong and we didn't realize until too late. Oh well, it was not bad. Lots of sausage cut lengthwise. 2) cold cut banh mi - classic banh mi. Hits the spot and good flavor. All the banh mis are made from fresh bread so it has a really nice soft and fluffy interior and a good crunch on the exterior. 3) grilled beef banh mi - the beef was quite tender though in the saltier side. Otherwise, it worked well. 4) we also got the grilled beef rolls and sausage rolls, both were wrapped well, comes with a savory peanut sauce and crushed peanuts. I order 6 cold cut sandwiches. The sandwiches are slightly higher than other places but the amount of meat is ridiculous. It's a very thick sandwich and they were delicious. I highly recommend this sandwich shop. They also have tea available if you're sitting down to enjoy your sandwich. read more

Viet Sandwich located in a new plaza at the corner of McNicoll and Silver Star Blvd, serves up Vietnamese banh mi, fresh rolls, desserts and iced coffee in a small space. The place is primarily take out only although there are some tables inside for you to enjoy your food items. There is some parking in the plaza and the entrance of Viet Sandwich faces the parking lot. They are open daily starting at 8am where they close at midnight. I stopped by Viet Sandwich on a Sat morning. I didn't realize the main entrance faces the parking lot so I tried to enter the shop using the entrance facing McNicoll. I believe other people did this as well but we all soon realized that we needed to walk towards the back of the building to enter. Upon entering the space the menu is plastered on the wall to your right where there are pictures and names of all the menu items. They have 5 different banh mis with different types of meat (no vegetarian option though), 4 types of fresh rolls, as well a variety of desserts (like che ba mau, che dac biet, pandan grass jelly, etc.). They also have Vietnamese iced coffee and Vietnamese salted ice coffee. For their Feb promo, you could choose 3 items where one of the items would be free. They also have some other promos available as well that is listed on their menu. I ordered at the counter and decided to get a cold cut banh mi, grilled pork sausage fresh roll, and a Viet iced coffee. I did ask for the Viet coffee to have less condensed milk as I prefer it less sweet. My food was made at a reasonable time and staff were super friendly! Sipping on my Viet iced coffee, I waited for my order to be made which took about 5 min. I had my cold cut banh mi and fresh roll at home. The banh mi was pretty loaded with cold cuts and I enjoyed the addition of the green onion in the banh mi. The pate was decent but I've had better tasting pates. The fresh roll was also pretty big as well - it was stuffed with the grilled pork sausage, vermicelli, lettuce, cucumber, and cilantro. It was a pretty big portion compared to other fresh rolls I've had. Overall, a decent place for banh mi and fresh rolls in the area! The Viet iced coffee wasn't bad as well and the service was friendly. Would return if I'm in the area and craving banh mi. read more

Decent beef banh mi but was not served with pate :( Also got the Vietnamese stew which wouldve probably been better if eaten right away. 2025-12-24. Viet Sandwich. Scarborough, ON. Place had is soft opening a mere 3 days ago on 2025-12-21. I actually wanted to try out a different scratch kitchen Banh Mi place, but they were closed and this one wasn't. Found Viet Sandwich on IG and was nearby, so decided to check it out. The entrance is actually off Silver Star Blvd despite the McNicoll Ave address. There are parking spaces, but it may be shared with Apple Self Storage and the driveway in and out can be tight for larger vehicles. Inside the place is mostly kitchen with the customer area taking up about ¼ of the entire retail space. There is no seating, but it looks like there could be room to seat about 16 comfortably if they really wanted to. The place wasn't too busy with about 10 people in queue when we arrived. For a Banh Mi place, they should be able to go through 10 people in no time right? Nope. The line moved a little slow, but when it was finally out turn, we found out that they were totally not expecting this many people on Xmas eve. They were constantly busy from about 10am (we arrive closer to 4pm). They also ran out of the meat for Dac Biet Banh Mi (the classic Banh Mi sandwich). Not sure about the meats, butter, and pate (head cheese), but the bread is baked fresh in house. The Banh Mi menu was a little limited, but they covered all the basics with the exception of the meat ball banh mi. In lieu, they carried a grilled beef banh mi that most places don't. A little disappointed that I was not going to get to try the classic, we still ordered their other sandwiches. We ordered the grilled pork (Thit Heo); a grilled beef (Bo); Vietnamese pork sausage (Nem); and a pork one that wasn't on the menu (Cha). I didn't order the grilled chicken because I'm generally not a fan of that one. Overall, the sandwiches are smaller than other places, but the bread made in house was the right consistency. A super light crispy shell and warm and soft on the inside. The sandwiches were all just ok and they're competitively priced for their size. Nothing really wowed me, but I also know that they were not at their finest as they admitted they were not prepared for the steady flow of patrons today. They did say that they'll be ready by the 27th if I was to come back. I know this rating may be a bit harsh as it's a soft opening, but I have to call it as it is. I don't know when I'll be back in the area, but will give them another shot if I am. By then, they should be fully prepared for any size crowd. This banh mi place is by far one of the best we've tried ao far. It's tucked away in a small plaza and parking can be a bit tight. Service is really friendly and fast. We ordered without knowing they currently have a buy 3 get 1 free special so that was an added bonus. While we were waiting another customer mentioned they bake their own buns in store. The sandwiches were amazing, crispy and not too doughy and they were really generous with their toppings. We asked for them on the side since we live farther away. The next day we toasted them but and it was still delicious. We will definitely be going back for sure! read more

We got the 2x cold cut ($6pp) and 1x grilled beef ($7pp) banh mi sandwiches + 1x salted iced coffee ($6) Nice lady owner and friendly. We thought the taste was quite good on the sandwiches and the coffee had a nice taste too for banh mi shop... Only thing is the ice they put after a day or so, it still didn't melt... lol Will visit this place in future as there are more and more Viet sandwiches, but this one stood out in texture, taste, value and all.
