    So cute!

Wow the cutest tucked away daiso! You can only enter from inside the marketplace. I came here with the intention of buying a cute notebook and left with buying so many other things! Other groceries shops and stores offer the products at such an increased rate. I found a rice paddle for $1.75 and yoga mat + yoga block for $11! On Amazon the yoga mats would have been at least $25. I'm so happy I came because the store is so clean and neat. I really want to come back to try the Japanese food offer in their food court. Some of the food stalls remind me of the ones in Japan!

Decent location! Compared to other Daiso locations, they didn't have many of the items that we needed. They also did have certain items that we needed that other Daisos don't. The place itself is pretty small, but the aisles weren't too squished. Prices were aligned with all of the other locations. The workers there were nice and helped us find stuff. Not the best, but also not the worst.

Chopsticks with rest for only $1.75

Came here after shopping at Mitsuwa Market. Store is smaller than others that I've been to but it's clean and I found a few items that weren't at the other stores. They didn't have the chopstick rest so I just bought the chopsticks with the rest that comes along with them. Still not bad for $1.75 each. The lady employee there was helpful showing me where I could find items and she rung me up as well. She's very friendly. When I go shopping at Mitsuwa, we'll definite come here again.

Daiso is more dangerous than Target... things are cute, good quality, inexpensive and my wallet just opens up every time we are here.

This Daiso is located inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. It's a tiny store in comparison to other locations with a much smaller inventory on the shelves. But you'll find the same variety of items at $1.50 (and the cheery sounds of Japanese pop music piped through the sound system) as you would in any of the other locations. And although Daiso seems to carry the same items no matter what store you visit, I am certain I found things here that I hadn't seen elsewhere. The store is very tidy and organized. I purchased some slippers, a box of Pocky and a couple of kitchen items; the woman at the register was very nice. I liked this location even though it's a "mini-version".

Entrance located inside Mitsuwa and store hours.

Super cute small store located inside the market. Great place to stop by while you're waiting for your food from the food court or after finishing your grocery shopping. They also sell drinks and snacks at lower prices than the market. Be careful, because you will definitely walk out with more than you came in for! (Not a bad thing) but they have a little bit of everything. Ceramic bowls, pans and baking goods, stationery, gardening, tools, sewing, pet items, sandals and lots of other stuff starting at $1.50. Staff is always helpful, will definitely make this my come back location.

I want to give special recognition to Catherine in Asset Protection at Nordstrom South Coast Plaza…read more I had lost a pair of very sentimental black-and-white scalloped sunglasses that belonged to my late mother. They are irreplaceable to me, and I was incredibly upset thinking they might be gone for good. Catherine treated the situation with real care and urgency. After I spoke with her, she reviewed the video footage right away. She found me on the footage, confirmed the time I was in the store, and saw the key detail that solved everything: I had walked out of Nordstrom with the sunglasses on my head. Because Catherine caught that detail, I realized the glasses were not lost at Nordstrom and had to be at my next stop. I called Free People Movement in Marina del Rey, and they had them. I got them back. Catherine's professionalism, patience, and attention to detail made all the difference. She didn't dismiss the situation. She helped me figure out what actually happened, and because of her, I was reunited with something that meant a great deal to me. I have been a Nordstrom customer for many years, and people like Catherine are exactly why Nordstrom has always stood out to me. Please make sure she and her managers know how grateful I am. She was extraordinary.

(It was consistently this wildly different during each of my last 6 visits or so.) Some of the associates are extremely helpful, genuinely amiable and make every customer feel valued (today, that was Mimi, from the Trends section on the 2nd floor). She asked about my day, quickly and kindly helped with my transaction and left me with a smile. Unfortunately, just prior to working with Mimi, I had attempted to request help from an associate at the Reformation section, to no avail. Initially, I noticed an associate chatting with other customers while behind the counter (this was around 1:30 pm on a Saturday) and the associate, Julie (I believe), asked me to wait a minute because she would be right back. After waiting at the counter for several minutes I lost hope and went over to another counter. Later, when I came back around I saw the aforementioned associate ringing up other customers at a nearby counter. I'm not one to make presumptions, but it did come across as if the associate cared more about increasing her immediate sales volume than actually assisting customers. At the very least, it would be nice if she had kept her word after telling a customer she'd be "right" back instead of ghosting them. Overall, I would give 5 stars to half of the employees here and 1 to the other half. Consistency is key!

Let's be real here, this location is a straight up zoo. There's kids running around yelling and screaming, there's clothes all over the floor but it still has a lot of customers and the selection is decent. There's always some fresh new gear at Ross and it's kind of chaotic but in all fairness, it's an organized type of chaos. You can still get some some great clothes, shoes, sun glasses, etc. I got some great sunglasses here for $8, Stacey Adams OG style. Another thing that's great about Ross is there return policy, it's decent. Idk about the food here though, I don't think the Toblerone here is really Toblerone

Another associate kindly directed me to a different register, but it felt like the original cashier simply did not want to help. Because of that interaction, I was not in the mood to offer a donation when she asked, since that was the first thing she said to me. After being ignored, it did not feel appropriate to contribute. What made it stand out even more is the store had a fun atmosphere while I was shopping. I even joined the cheering when someone donated while I was in the men's section. That contrast made the checkout experience worse. I previously worked as a corporate customer service trainer, and a simple hello or clear direction to the next register would have completely changed the experience. After paying, I put my receipt in my pocket and was immediately stopped at the exit to show it. I cooperated, but the store should place a "Do not put your receipt away, please show it at the door" notice at the register instead of only at the exit. Most customers instinctively put the receipt away, which creates confusion and a bottleneck. When I suggested this, the security guard said "okay," and the associate next to the door responded with a smug, sarcastic comment telling me to read the back of the receipt and submit feedback if I had issues with how the store operates. I like Ross for the deals, but the greeting etiquette, tone at checkout, and receipt process need to be consistent and improved to create unforgettable, legendary customer experiences at the exit.
