I already like Daiso stores, but this may be the best one in the greater Seattle area. Large, well-stocked, clean, lots of friendly cashiers, and (as with all Daiso stores) nearly everything costs $1.50. In fact my only complaint is the narrowness of the aisles; in their eagerness to pack in more items, the folks at Daiso have made it difficult to navigate the store during times of heavy shopping traffic. I prefer this location of Daiso to the chinatown and dt ones, mainly because of the space and the parking available. Everything in Daiso is $1.50 unless otherwise noted. Was so happy when this place opened. The biggest store yet in Seattle area although still not has big as the one in Richmond BC, but good enough. I can walk around this store forever and finding all kind of cute stuffs. Most items are $1.50 unless post otherwise. I bought a big donabe (earthenware pot) here for $14 while other asian stores and Uwajimaya are selling for $40. Quality are decent to good for the price. read more

It used to be a fun store. You could find plenty of useful kitchen small things to make your life easy, same as items for sewing. Also loved their facial masks 6 pieces for 1.50. For the last half a year the assortment becomes poorer and poorer. No more nice Japanese or Korean beauty items. The useful stuff is disappearing, they put Asian food things for 2 dollars and up instead of it. The shelves become more and more deserted. No more fun is there. read more

This is the biggest Daiso I've been to. The other ones are about 1/4 to half the size of this one. It might not necessarily mean that they'll have more stuff, but it feels like it. It just makes for a more pleasant shopping experience when everything has its place. My fave Daiso. read more

I was so excited to come here, but the checkout process was stressful. The register lane is really small and loaded with candy and impulse items. I don't recommend bringing kids. The cashier opened a new register, but I really wished I had gotten someone else. I was loading my items on the narrow counter when she told me to add the unbreakable items first. She refused to scan them and there was no room, so I had to pick them up and tried putting them back in the cart . As I was trying to do that the glass slipped out of my hand and broke on the floor. She called another associate over and made a loud fuss about it, shooing me out of the way to clean it up. I tried to hand her the non breakable items and she wouldn't take them from me, insisting I place them on the counter. The whole thing was unnecessarily awkward and confusing. Rather than just scan the glasses first since they were on top, she insisted on doing it her way - which created a situation where something broke. It's a bummer since they have a lot of great items, but just my luck I got the rude cashier who spoiled the whole thing. Lame. read more

I love Daiso, but of all the locations this one reminds me of a fancy supermarket! It is located in the Crossroads area. Very bright and crisp layout with easy to understand aisle signs and organized products. Majority of their items are $1.50 unless priced otherwise. I mainly shop here for eyelashes, accessories, mugs, and other random things. Obviously not the best quality of items but still good enough if you want something cheap that you don't need forever. I wish I lived close by so I can visit this location more, but I usually only go to this one after I work. read more

It's a dollar store filled with asian goodies. Everything is $1.50, unless they've marked it otherwise. Some of the stuff feels a little cheap, but for $1.50, I won't complain. Great variety of stuff - office supplies, cleaning supplies, kitchen stuff, hair & makeup, and a few snacks. First thing first, it was such a breeze shopping at this location! No more thousands of excuse-mes. The interior is nice, clean, and organized. Also, the staff was friendly! I went in with a 6-dollar budget in mind, but ended up spending 18 bucks. So worth it though. I got myself one pair of touch screen gloves, four pairs of pastel fluffy socks, a ear muff, a cotton candy scarf, and a pastel green Christmas tree!! So stocked up for winter! I just love this Daiso location. It's the biggest one in Washington and there are so much more stuff here than the southcenter and chinatown location. I mean, you get what you pay for, but i think lots of stuff they have here are so cute and neat, sometimes you just got to buy it because it's just so darn cute. There's a lot of things for any gender and any age group, they have a great variety of everything from school supplies, house items, gardening tools, make up, and everything you can think of for 1.50 unless marked otherwise (which are only like 15 things in the store) They have an entire wall full of snacks and drinks. This location has their own parking lot, and clean compared to other stores where it's cramped and no parking at all. Anyway, i've began to enjoy going to this store, just for the heck of it, and buying random cute stuff just because they're so cheap! And on the plus side, i've never had a problem with their items, some of the stuff in there is worth way more than 1.50 but again, there are things that feel cheap. I love their eyelashes, def would recommend them if you're into using fake eye lashes. read more

Giving it a 4 b/c I love Daiso, but this particular Daiso is not as large as the one in Daly City nor does it have the extensive sushi/bento box making accessories available at the SF Japantown Daiso. That being said, since I now live in a city without a Daiso, I am appreciative of what this Daiso did offer. I went on a Saturday and it was not crowded. Service was efficient. The selection of goods was more limited, but I can always find something at Daiso! It did seem though that they needed to restock a lot of items because there were empty spaces on multiple racks. read more

Daiso is an amazing store which I would recommend for anyone within the vast majority of price ranges. Daiso offers a variety of items, such as household supplies, decorations, clothes, to makeup and even food. The items are also very visually appealing, definitely leaning towards being cute than anything else. As someone who enjoys cute things, there is definitely a vast selection of choices for me. Recently, I was in search for spoons that had to be very specifically designed - a very long handle and a very small head. The first place I went was Daiso, because I knew that not only would they probably have said spoon, but it would also be very cheap. And I was right. For $1.50, I bought 2 spoons that were exactly what I was searching for. I feel that this anecdote makes an example out of Daiso's low prices and convenience. There are a couple drawbacks, especially because Daiso is a "value" store, but I don't consider them bad enough to take away from my shopping experience. For example, the things that they sell are not going to be things that are suddenly really cheap. ie, you can find similar things for similar prices at other stores, so not many things are truly "Wow, only $1.50!". Also, there is a credit card limit of $10. In all, Daiso is a very fun, inexpensive store that I would definitely recommend. read more

I love Daiso. I love that there is one on the Eastside now. But this location, even though the square footage may be large, doesn't seem to have as much stuff as the Westlake shop. It's better than the little one by Uwajimaya though, and definitely more convenient and easier to get around than the narrow packed aisles of the Westlake location. They seem to be cheating with some crappy American dollar store filler items on their shelves too. There were some cheap toiletries or cleansers or other items that were in all English and looked like bad generics from those mom and pop type dollar stores that are filled with really junky stuff. read more

I haven't been back to daiso as often as I used to. every time that I have visited lately, they have had such a drastically short amount of inventory. I like shopping at daiso for particular items, and it isn't fun at all to travel and then be disappointed when you cannot find anything you came to buy. read more

Daiso has a lot of useful stuff at very good prices. It is similar to a dollar store, however, things can be more. There are kitchen items, stationary, journals, and random knick knacks. If u like dollar stores you will like daiso. read more

Thank goodness for Daiso! This has got to be the biggest Daiso I've ever been to! The store is bright, there is a great chopstick and dish section, I'm super happy with those! The house and food storage options are fantastic. I have really cute and functional pieces now that have my co-workers asking me questions, hah hah! On top of that, there's shampoo, conditioner, socks, hats, scarves, hair clips, all kinds of cool stuff that has me just spending lots of money WITHOUT spending lots of money! The best part is that it's like, $1.50 for practically everything! So I go into Daiso, drop a whopping $30 and I walk out with a ton of cool things! I just adore this store, there's always something cool to buy and I don't break the bank by doing so. What more could you want? Everything rocks! And the location couldn't be better! It's right there at Crossroads. Right on the corner. So it's not even stuck inside the mall al cramped, but it's own bright storefront. LOVE IT! I'm dedicated to buying all the things!! read more

Basically a clean japanese dollar store. Little lines, a little overwhelming with all the stuff lol. Fun place to go and look at. Cheap stuff that tends to break but you get what you pay for. Good amount of parking and big store. read more

Daiso is everything the Target dollar spot wishes it could be. Most things in the store are $1.50 with some larger items being a little more. Give yourself some time to cruise through each aisle, you can really find some treasures! If you're looking for a gag gift, in the toy section they have inflatable boobs. If you're looking for stationary, they have a wide selection of washi tape, cute paper, decorative paper punches. If you're into makeup, gardening, cooking, or have a pet they have sections for all that too! The best part is the snacks and drinks. This location has the best selection out of all the Daisos in the Seattle area and don't worry if you can't read Japanese because most of the packaging will have a translated sticker on it or a sign will be placed in front so you know what you are getting yourself into. Cashiers at this location are always cheerful and I find myself coming here atleast once a month to see what's new or to buy more cute socks that I don't need. read more
