    Wrapping papers & ribbons
    Sheri H.

Paper Source is a stationery, card and gift shop store that has really great wrapping paper that costs too much but is worth it for a special someone, scrapbooking/card making supplies and envelopes in dozens of colors. I love coming here to get little gifts for people and also supplies like glittery stickers for cards, invitations, and a Kate Spade address book for myself recently. I was especially happy to find this $25 address book here because it was sold out on Amazon.com and was the same price. I make my own greeting cards for all occasions and shop here sometimes since it's near my office for supplies. I have also grabbed a card I liked for my husband. The cards they sell range from snarky to adults only. They also have a service for creating wedding and special event invites. With exception of the last time I came in shopping, there are usually 3 to 5 sales girls who ask how I'm doing and if I need any help. You can park for free at Bellevue Square and walk over to this store which is near the Westin. Parking at Lincoln Square is not free except for the weekends or after 8 pm. Some odds and ends that have zip to do with stationery are sold here like a table dedicated to men's gifts including items like a travel tin with supplies for two alcoholic drinks and golf balls and nail stickers for little girls at the checkstand.

New Location at Lincoln Square. In former ExOfficio space.

Paper Source is a stationery store located at Lincoln Square. Though it is no longer in the main building. They used to be in the corner space on Bellevue Way and NE 8th, but that space is now an AT&T store. Instead, they have moved down the street into the old ExOfficio store space near the Westin. The store has a sizable selection of greeting cards, stamps and stationery items. There are also some random items by the pay counter too like candies. In the back of the store is a section for customized envelopes and cards for weddings and other formal events. The vibe of the store is very chill. The staff lets you browse on your own without pressure. If you need help, just ask. I came here looking for a wedding card since I didn't want to pick up the usual American Greetings/Hallmark cards from the drugstore. The selection here was okay. Prices are higher than if you go the drugstore route. I didn't find many options that matched the occasion and message that I wanted to convey. Just one, but I guess that is all you need. If you are looking for unique greeting cards, Paper Source is a decent option. Though I would suggest checking out Papyrus and Etsy as well for similar card offerings.

I was impressed that they had Pilot Varsity fountain pens for the same price as Amazon ($4). There were three employees available and they gave personal attention to four separate people in the ten minutes we were there. The store must make tons of money on something--maybe wedding invitations or scrapbooking addicts who spend more money than I'm putting in my child's college account. Most of the stuff in the store doesn't seem expensive enough to pay the rent here. They moved from the 8th Street corner to mid-block location, but I'm glad they didn't go away. I was grateful they let me use the bathroom. There they had sent sticks in tip of the toilet tank. Unlike most, they have a pleasant scent. The clerk said it was on sale in the store. My husband asked if they offered personalized sealing wax stamps. The staff member brought up a relevant Etsy page before he even realized that she was typing on one of the computers. The greeting cards run around six dollars each. The fancy pen case I had my eye on was $15. My favorite item was a glass jar, roughly five inches tall, with wood matches inside. If I were to purchase them for $15 I would keep them by my desk for candlelight transcriptions of sacred verses. As it is I will get an empty spice jar and replicate the idea.

Happiness can come wrapped in thousand colors papers (that was a saying in my childhood in Spain). Honestly, this store makes you happy as soon as you put your feet in it. Smells good quality paper, you can find origami paper, Indian and Nepal produced paper, all kind of goodies in trillion colors...and zillion images of my favorite icon: the Eiffel tower! I loved this store when passing by Bellevue during a brief trip. I spent a good time there talking with the sales associate who informed me about the classes they offer and even gave me some tips of things to do in Bellevue. Big, spacious and well assorted. Do not forget to buy a postcard for me!

This is the go-to place to get that extra special wrapping paper for that special someone. A lot more spacious here than their University Village, but parking's tougher too. Similar to Papyrus, though may not have the breadth of products. Still, they offer wedding cards, etc. open late too, for the area, it's a great idea, ppl are willing to spend $ here.

    So much pretty!

LOVE the new location and layout! It's very open and bright and visually appealing (Let's be honest though, when is Paper Source not?!) This store has great paper products, unique gift items and so much more. Everyone who works here is super friendly and helpful. I especially love Molly because she is so knowledgeable and fun :)

I paid $9 in shipping for a small $6 card and it was sent in a box that could have fit 500 of them and showed up like this

Cute shop on the main Bellevue Lincoln Square strip. Wish there were more art craft activities on display.

Looking for Lamy ink cartridges or if need be simple (but fountain pen-grade) ink. Would I find that, here?

No. They carry disposable fountain pens, though.

No "hello," no acknowledgment nothing. Almost immediately after, another white customer came in and she greeted her and began helping her right away. The difference in treatment was very noticeable. Throughout the time we were in the store, she kept looking at me in a strange and uncomfortable way. It felt like we were being judged rather than welcomed as paying customers. There was no effort to assist us, check on us, or make us feel comfortable in the space. Customer service should be equal and respectful to everyone who walks through the door. Instead, I left feeling ignored and singled out. I don't take accusations like this lightly, but the experience genuinely felt discriminatory. I hope management takes this seriously and evaluates how customers are being treated. No one should feel unwelcome in a business because of how they look.

They were EXTREMELY RUDE AND SNARKY. We were the only minority in the shop and they followed us the whole time making passive aggressive comments. Other customers (non-POC) were clearly looking around and they weren't constantly disrupted and being pressured to buy things. The funny part we were the only customer that bought something (maybe her harassment tactics work lol) since I thought the item was cute. When I opened my item I noticed that it was damaged. However, the employee there made us so uncomfortable that I'll count this as a loss with my defective item since I'm non-confrontational. Normally I wouldn't jump to conclusions about racial issues unless it feels HEAVILY targeted as such (nothing differentiate us from the other customers other than we were non-white, i.e our attire and mannerisms were no different than the other customers). Something was off about her and clearly whatever issues she internally had was projected on to us. Definitely won't be back, nor recommend. **Update** I went to google to post my review there also because my experience was that bad. But before I posted I saw other people's reviews and SHOCKER (not really) the majority of people that posted bad reviews on customer's experience and feeling very dismissed/mistreated were MINORITIES. Where there's smoke there's fire....... My spidey senses are picking up that it's probably the same employee and she clearly does not like ANY melanin...

There are whimsical small items priced as small as $40! I've been greeted and so has whoever's been with me whenever I've walked around in here, whether I had any intention to buy or not. Brands that I've seen sold here are Ralph Lauren Home, Marge Carson, Baker and Hickory White. Besides interior design services, there are art pieces, home decor items and even coffee table books for purchase. The last time I visited, I dragged a friend in with me as she was intimidated by what she saw staged in front. I knew once she got over herself and looked around she would be taken aback by the beauty of the pieces. We came across this lamp that she gasped at, and an employee saw her. He came over and offered to help us out. He got a light bulb as there wasn't one in it and placed it in the lamp then plugged it in. The base was made of rock and was a pure stunner, even more so with the light on. Just fabulous. My friend collects crystals and rocks, so she went off on a tangent asking questions, and the sales agent indulged her and didn't BS her when she asked things he didn't know, and he offered to find out. They have several full, decorated Christmas trees during the holidays that you can buy and have transported home so you don't have to do any decorating yourself. During Halloween, they have some really cool decorations. I saw this killer art deco, black villianesque desk that I just LOVED.

This confirms the issue: no one is taking ownership. I am still requesting supervisor escalation, guaranteed delivery with the correct crew, replacement of the damaged headboard, and meaningful compensation for the repeated failed deliveries, damaged item, lost time, and inconvenience Original review: 1/5 -- Extremely disappointing experience with Crate & Barrel. We purchased a bed and dresser for around $6,000 from Crate & Barrel on May 25, expecting a premium product and smooth delivery experience. The problems started in the store. We were encouraged to apply for a Crate & Barrel store card for financing and were told it would commonly support a much higher financing amount. We applied, received only a $1,000 limit, and were told to accept it and that the issue would be corrected later. It was not corrected, but the application still affected my credit score. Then came the delivery issues. Our delivery was scheduled for June 3. The team brought in part of the bed, opened the headboard, and found a large crack. They said it had to be returned. We asked them to at least bring in the dresser, but they said they only had two people and it was too heavy. Customer service did not take meaningful ownership. We explained that we had guests coming for a housewarming and needed the bedroom completed urgently, but we were told nothing could be done and had to wait another week. On June 10, the rescheduled delivery failed again. The driver called and said they did not have enough people to bring the furniture in, canceled the delivery, and then stopped answering calls. We paid premium pricing, lost multiple days waiting at home, received damaged furniture, and still do not have the furniture delivered. Our bedroom is unusable right before guests arrive. This has been the worst shopping and delivery experience we have had at this price level. Crate & Barrel needs to take responsibility, deliver with the correct crew, and provide real compensation for the failed deliveries, damaged item, and wasted time.

Very frustrating as we drove 2 hrs round trip both times we went out to west elm, first to get the swatches and 2nd was supposed to be our trip to finalize our fabric selection. We had thought our 2nd trip would be a quick stop but realized once we got there the swatch mishap. We had stopped in 10-15 min before closing as we thought it would just be a quick confirm fabric and order. One staff member was sympathetic to our situation of now having to pick a brand new fabric and another (who I think is one of the managers) was extremely pushy unsympathetic and you could tell really just wanted to get us out of the store. She brushed off the fabric swatch mistake made by her team almost as "well that's life" sort of dismissal was the feeling we got. There was no hospitality in the customer service provided. As a "solution" she gave us a different swatch that was a completely different color and stated that "it would feel almost the same it's just different color version" this swatch was a completely different fabric and texture and the color nowhere close to what we had verbalized + very clearly was just trying to get us to shut up and get out lol. We left feeling very dismissed and brushed off and also like we were stupid? I understand a customer service interaction doesn't need to be perfect and mistakes happen- but the response to the mistake from the manager was what really affirmed we will not be using west elm unless we absolutely have to. I am sure there are some great people here but unfortunately we did not have that experience due to this manager
