We ordered more to arrive a yesterday but there was no sign of them by end of day today, so I called Neilsen. It was just after closing but the owner picked up and did everything she could to help...turned out the order company hadn't used Neilsen this time and the company they did use hadn't followed through. Sadly, tomorrow (when it seems the flowers will at last arrive) will be too late for our Aunt, but we wanted to thank Neilsen's owner for her efforts to sort things out (even though it was not her responsibility) and for her kindness in offering to get flowers to us anyway. I called several nearby florist shops but all had exorbitantly high prices for floral delivery. To my delight I found the Accents et cetera websit and was able to order a beautiful bouquet of brightly colored tulips ($12) and a pretty gold-wrapped package of chocolate-caramel cookies ($11,) with delivery the very next day, for under $35. Now, don't get me wrong, I know that's not cheap but compared to other companies who wanted $35 and much more for just one flower plus delivery fees, I thought it was a bargain. And her reaction when they were delivered (via a no-contact method) was priceless. In these times when so many people are sad, lonely, frustrated, and generally down in the dumps this was an easy way to bring some instant and long-lasting happiness. I'll bet you know someone who could use this same bit of cheer! And even better? The owner is donating part of her profits to the local food bank to help her Sammamish neighbors. I love everything about this company and will surely be a return customer.

The vase was 1/2 full of water and some of the stems of the flowers were not in the water so I filled the vase but by Monday the flowers were all wilted and looked terrible. I'm not sure what else I could have done to keep flowers alive more than 3 days. I did reach out to the shop but never heard back. I would not recommend getting flowers from this shop, they are very expensive and not worth the cost. Update to previous review: Iris&Peony emailed an apology for the wilting roses and provided a replacement. This was unexpected and appreciated. Photo below.
