One of the employees asked me for my last name then told me to look at the pickup section to find my order. I did find that odd and a little less secure than I would like. That means anyone could have come in the store and looked at the last names on the pickup bags and told the employees that it's their order. They had a large apparel fabric,…read morequilting fabric, and even furniture and other technical fabric, all sorts of notions, even a large yarn section and miscellaneous crafts. There were popular brands with a large selection from each such as Fableism, Ruby Star Society, Sarah Hearts, etc. I ended up with some gorgeous deadstock cotton seersucker, out of my comfort zone but very special. One critique is that their bottomweight and coating section was fairly limited, but I'm assuming that they were slowly transitioning into Spring/Summer choices at that time. Everything felt high quality and intentionally selected, not at all like the big box stores. Pricing was on-par with most independent stores - not cheap, but worth it. I hear that they have sales every once in awhile so I will be on the lookout. The day I went, it was absolutely packed! The parking lot is relatively small so you might have to get lucky or circle around a few times when you visit.

What a great decision. Katie is a wonderful teacher, sewing machines were provided and I quickly fell in love with quilting. The class was welcoming, encouraging and I enjoyed learning a new skill. I'm now working on my second quilt, with the goal of donating to hospitals. This experience has given me a relaxing activity and a new chapter in my life.
