Very organized place, lots of paint colors, clean brushes and sponges to use endlessly and amazing service. Upon entering we were greeted with a big smile and provided information on the wide selection of pottery there and design ideas. Pricing is very accessible and a great place to let out your creativity.

I love the calm environment and staff. 10/10 favorite pottery painting place in Seattle

Glass fusion project and painted ceramics (before firing). Sunday afternoon art with family!

My mom, niece and I had a wonderful time this afternoon at Emerald City Fired Arts. The studio has lots of ceramics to paint plus the option to do a fused glass project or also a mosaic tile. If you are looking for a fun, creative and memorable time to celebrate time with family and friends or a special occasion you'll love Emerald City Fired Arts. Plus, The studio was nice and cool on a hot summer afternoon. Great service, knowledgeable staff and a well run studio that I'd love to return to!

Went for my friend's birthday and we loved it! The woman who runs it was so nice and helpful. Every other paint your own pottery place I've been to just let's you did your own thing without much guidance, but this studio has a wall full of examples techniques using different materials, e.g. Sponges, burlap, tape, feathers, there are instructions for the different techniques on all the tables, and the owner (manager?) was happy to give us advice and instruction. I branched out of my comfort zone and did some different techniques, including sponges, and I'm so happy with how they turned out! One negative review made her sound pushy and intrusive, but that wasn't our experience at all! She let us do our own thing and then was happy to give us advice when we asked. Also, when I was in the back washing my hands, she showed me some of the other customers recently finished pieces and spoke about then so lovingly, "They all have a story!" she gushed. I got the impression that she loves this studio, her customers, and the art that gets created here. Finally, the studio is a lovely space! Lots of windows, art work on the walls, painted pottery examples all around, and free parking in the back!

Excellent selection of colors, polite and helpful owner, good selection of projects and materials, and a really reasonable price. This was exactly the experience we wanted.

Lots of techniques available.

I came here with my meetup group and we all had a wonderful time! I was able to make a reservation and finalize all the details via email with the (owner?) manager, Maidrine. She was absolutely lovely! So helpful. My group is for crafty gals who like adult beverages. Applying/paying/receiving the minimal charge banquet fee so we could BYOB was also part of what made the experience so great. We brought some drinks and some snacks, had a pizza delivered and set up at the long table in the back where we got our craft on. Maidrine was so helpful and patient with us. There are so many different techniques - beyond the basic paint brush. There are step by step instructions on each table, examples displayed on the wall and she has tools on hand (ie; stamps, silk screens, yarn, tape, etc.) Honestly I should have arrived 30 mins early just to pick out my piece and figure out what I wanted to do with it. Excellent experience. Will be back. Great for groups! Birthday, kid, baby shower, bachelorette , etc. parties! Ladies nights. Date nights. Rainy days. Parking was easy too. Right on the corner on the first floor of new apartment buildings.

Kind staff, broad selection of ceramics, paints and other items like stencils. Booked for a birthday party and the group all had a blast.

We had a lot going on during the reception as it was and he had the nerve to go to my husband to complain about the lighting since it "affects" his video making? whatever the hell that was about...but for him to bother my husband about that, was plain stupid and if he was a "professional", he needs to learn to adjust especially since we had other things to consider with the wedding and keeping our guests well taken care of. Also, before we had decided to even use Mimi's video guy to record our wedding, she really gave him props and even said how good he was in picking music when editing the video, and so we just decided to go with it after we finally received the DVD and I watched our wedding video, i was really disappointed. I had a jr bridesmaid along with my other bridesmaid, and he didn't even include my jr bridesmaid when they were walking down the aisle. She was significant since she was wearing a traditional outfit that represents my husband's culture, while the other bridesmaids' dresses represented my culture, and so I was appalled when he didn't get my jr bridesmaid. Then the music that I had chosen for my wedding, he dubbed over all the music and used his old school "romantic" type of songs, which I wasn't happy since these weren't the songs I would choose...in fact, when I gave them the CD of the songs that I want on the DVD, he didn't even use any of it, which annoyed me since they made a big deal that I give them the photos and songs prior to them making the video. I even spent time picking the right songs for each section of the wedding processionals, and the person who sang the "special music" when my husband and I were going to light the candles and give honor to our parents, was the utmost important song, and the video guy didn't keep the song. he didn't even record the singer. I only watched my video once and I just don't find the desire to watch it ever again since I felt he didn't capture ANYTHING that I would want to remember. What a disappointment. Even after I complained to Mimi, she didn't even give me the unedited video as a courtesy for my dissatisfaction...if I wanted it, she wanted to charge me $100....Seriously???

Between the ballroom, theater, and patio, we had so many beautiful backdrops for every part of our celebration. The catering was incredible - our guests couldn't stop raving about the food, especially the brisket (which the chef loving tended to into the early morning hours). We also loved that we got to do a tasting beforehand, and the team was wonderful about accommodating dietary restrictions. The bar was just as great! Our specialty cocktail and mocktail were both a big hit. Danielle, the venue manager, was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. I won't say exactly what was in the box as I don't want to ruin your surprise, but I will say it kept us occupied for about four hours with getting to know you games, music, and fun locally-based crafting activities. Items in the box were high quality and seemed carefully selected and we enjoyed all of it. I'm also guessing it would be good for roommates in addition to couples. We also ordered the food options. Unfortunately, at some point in the chain the restaurant or Postmates or Mystery screwed up the order as we only got half of it delivered, and no wine. However, Mystery made it right within a minute of me contacting them by giving us a discount, so I'm not docking any stars. I will note though that I think we realized while we like surprises for activities we may be too picky for food surprises in the future. :) Overall - we can't wait to order another date night box!!
