KOBO Capitol Hill is tucked away at one end of Broadway on a cute little corner that's easy to miss if you're not looking. They have an AMAZING collection of local and international art, books, and other small finds that make it feel like a new experience every time you visit. They also have virtual art shows featuring new artists every month, offering them platform to show off new work in a time where it might not otherwise happen. Due to Covid, they've taken a lot of precautions for their customers and staff, which I really appreciate. Private shopping sessions can be booked online, and curbside pick up was a really smooth experience!

The main room with all of the portraits and frames brings me back to Europe and visiting a local art museum. I love staring at paintings that seem bigger than me. The gift shop is exceptional and I enjoy it more than SAM's. It's really well curated and the selection of moma products and kids stuff is fun to see. The events are always fun and I enjoy coming here. Parking is great and the outside aesthetic is very soothing.

Some uphill walks but it was a nice walk actually. The museum is free which is nice you walk through and it is pretty much filled with many unique rooms, each with different pieces of art. It was pretty quiet but I do enjoy the placement of every piece. It's not a big museum so this probably won't take up so much time.

Without barriers and when the displays are right in the middle of the room, I think this widely varies from person to person. Yelling at patrons isn't ever a good idea. It's located on the other side of Meany Hall in the University of Washington campus and has all sorts of cool stuff to check out, like paintings, sculptures, video installations, and performance art. They always have new and exciting exhibits featuring artists from all over the world. The displays are really thought-provoking and explore a bunch of different themes, so there's always something interesting to think about. The building itself is pretty cool too. It's made of a bunch of different materials like concrete, steel, and glass, and it lets in a ton of natural light. Walking through the galleries is a chill and relaxing experience. Their special exhibit was the "Thick As Mud" which was quite revealing and subjective. Besides the exhibits, the museum also hosts a ton of fun events and workshops.
