I got an experience to share, I guess it was negative. I got to say I really like Art Primo, I also been a customer for a minute. Well I came the other day and it wasn't busy. I asked if there vintage spray cans were for sale and the (Asian) lady at the registered seemed bothered. I got a collection at home and wanted to know more. She then proceeded to tell me I could check the price on the bottom. Later I asked about the Ny Quill caps, and she didn't want to pull out all of them. She said "they all look the same different color". I wanted to see the difference so I asked her to pull them all out any way. I chose the one's I needed at the time. I also asked about other tools for the cans and she seemed dismissive, annoyed and bothered with an undertone voice of "I don't want to be working here". It seemed like a struggle to get info from her. At that point I wanted to just walk out but I came from another state and thought might as well just get everything here vs ordering online. I asked about my points and she said I can get a freebie. I asked to see the two different options and choose the black streaker. She literally showed me one and said they didn't have anymore and gave me the mop. It was the way she went about the whole interaction since I got there. I've been to many shops and art stores and usually the workers are chill but this experience was not that great. Like I said I like art primo one of my favorite stores been buying for at least 15 years or more. Good product customer service was wack, I think she may need some training or have the owner talk to her because it's not good for business. read more

A Graffiti Artists HEAVEN.... First and foremost, I am a HUGE supporter of Art Primo and his work. I've learned a lot of my spray etiquette from his YouTube videos, and adventures. So when my homie told me he had a shop I was FAN GIRLING. I had to go no matter what. We traveled to Seattle by ferry and modded it straight to the store. Driving there from the ferry is like a 10 min drive, and walking there is like 30 mins. Lol! (Uber or Lyft my friends) When we pulled up you can see a crowd of artists sitting around tables just sketching, drawing etc. Sooooo dope. Felt in my element. I walked in and was overwhelmed with excitement. They have any color you could imagine. The store was small yet big enough for its purpose. The young lady helping me was very informative with merchandise and matched my needs with things she'd recommend, and things she'd think I'd like. I went a little ham and bought one of everything basically. Haha! They have everything from pro markers, drips, spray paint, caps, stickers YOU NAME IT! FYI: These are professional materials. Think sharpie times 100. Lol! I'm telling you. These are no joke. They will stay forever and do damage. Definitely do research on what kind of product your looking for but most likely the workers here will help you to the best of their abilities. Prices are soooooo affordable. They have weekly deals on cans as well. I got a couple spray cans for $3. Branded and Good quality. If you're a graffiti artist that's a f*ckin gold mine. That Walmart price for gooooooooooooooooood quality paint man. IF ONLY I LIVED HERE... I'd be here everyday. Just chillin, painting, and spending so much money. Lol! Art Primo is a great little shop with a helpful, positive staff offering quality products one can't get just any old place. I disagree with the notion that Art Primo supports destruction of Seattle's aesthetic character. That destruction is in fact being perpetuated by irresponsible real estate dealers who have been given license to fill our landscape with cheap prefabricated townhouse apartment buildings. These buildings (and I use the term building generously since little if any true builders' spirit or architectural thoughtfulness is included in their developmental processes), to me, are a blight. However, if "scum of the earth" tag artists were given the opportunity to create artwork on some of these structures then maybe Seattle's aesthetic character would enjoy a little rejuvenation. Maybe it's even already happening somewhere. I hope so. read more

I strolled in looking for a specific brush and these folks saved me from a huge disaster. I had the great idea to paint constellations/stars on a wall for my kiddos room. You heard it here first world, Kubaby is destined to explore the universe. In order to perpetuate this path, we needed to start star training by painting favorite/famous spots on the wall. I thought we would do this with a latex paint and small brush. The two ladies working immediately jumped into the project. They asked incredible questions and presented alternatives I had not even considered. Ultimately, I decided on a paint pen which was TOTALLY the right tool for the job. The result is incredible. Very dissapointed with my online experience. I ordered several spray paint caps that were advertised to create a thin, detail line and they did the opposite, ended up making larger wider lines than default caps. Customer service kept saying to send photos (which I did) and denied request for refund/return. read more
