From the reviews here, Paper Source looked like the best. So I navigated the huge parking garage (fortunately free that day) and eventually found my way into Paper Source. I seriously thought about taking pictures along the way to help me find my way all the way back to my car. Wow, so disappointing! Yes there were cards that were...different. But not interesting. They were all pretty dull. And the selection was on the small side. I finally found cards I liked at Safeway. I assume Paper Source is a great place to buy craft paper. But for greeting cards I'd have to call it vastly overrrated.

Quality/Quantity: They have ton of really great authentic Japanese items. Value: They have really good prices. And I supported it wholeheartedly despite sometimes finding items slightly cheaper elsewhere. Additionally, as an art educator I always suggested it to my students for their value, as well as excellent and knowledgeable customer service. Unfortunately, I'm very disappointed to say both superb customer service and cost value are gone. Firstly, I learned from my students that student discount was no longer available. Then after my last visit, I was stunned how much the prices have increased. Still, I remained a dedicated patron. After coming home I realized one of the expensive wooden panels had a substantial gouge in the corner - simply too noticeable to try fixing. I confidently returned to the store but was told they would not take back the damaged items - because they couldn't verify it was damaged before my purchase. The associate was unbearably rude and dismissive. One my way out I expressed my profound disappointment with the current direction of this trusted business with another associate, only to have the associate I originally spoke with catch up with us. Now they changed their song, saying they could accept the damage item but I was very lucky because it's not something they always do. What?! The associate appeared to be making up policies as they went along. In the end I kept the damaged wooden panel, as I will keeping my business away from this place.

Of course there was quite a variety of home goods too including candles, books, etc. I saw some great artwork that was Seattle-themed and a lot of cool large paperclips, stamps, and whatnot to bring back to my office mates as small gifts. You will find something for you and then some here. Service was great as I asked the person working for any other nearby shops. Paper Fling was JUST what I was looking for!…read more When looking for designs for my wedding invitations I spent months looking for ideas online first but I was still unsure. I really wanted to be able to feel the quality of the paper and see the printed ink before spending hundreds of dollars. I first went to Paper Source in Bellevue. Their store was beautiful, but when I asked for help with invitations they pointed at a huge stack of gigantic books full of invitations. Not quite the help I was looking for. After about 15 minutes of being overwhelmed and trying to find a place to set this 10 pound book of paper, we left. I ended up going to Paper Fling with my fiance and one of my bridesmaids. Even though we had no appointment, Ruth immediately sat us down and started working with us. I told her what I wanted and she brought out the perfect book of examples. I found what I was looking for in less then five minutes. Ruth was great to work with and she helped us pick font styles, wording, etc. My proofs were emailed in PDF format to me within a week, and my invitations arrived at the store two weeks after that. Smooth, efficient service with a smile! I definitely recommend buying your invitations from a wonderful store like this as opposed to just buying them online! There is definitely a price, though. For 75 invitations with folds, pockets, and heavy paper it ran us about $600. But being totally satisfied with the end product? Priceless!

They have a decent size selection of tea that you can purchase by the bag and prices are fairly reasonable. I fell in love with their pen section!
