I love Daiso but their regulations here in Artesia is kind of stupid. So obviously they are limiting people inside because of Covid so some people have to wait outside. there's a family of four who are in line but the cashier didn't let them come inside all together because it depends how many people will come out before they let people come in. I mean cmon? You let people wait for hours just because of your stupid regulations?? This is the only store I've seen something like that. Love it here. Everything is super cute. I like to buy my kids lunchbox accessory items from here. Only problem I would complain about are the lunchboxes not being bpa free. I mean, even the 99 cent store carries bpa free items. The lunch box sets are cute here, but I hesitate buying the boxes and only get the accessories. Great additional to the 99 ranch market shopping plaza. This store contains a lot of different trinkets and gadgets for a low price. The employees are nice and helpful. I always spend too much when I am in a Daiso but don't mind it as I often give items away as gifts or buy for my family. I had heard really great things about Daiso so maybe my expectations were set too high. But that being said Customer service was nearly non existent. The staff members who were there seemed bothered to assist or answer questions. Parking was also pretty tight. I stopped in for a couple specific items which I was told they carried. Once in store a clerk notified me that some items are only stocked once and do not return. Secondly I didn't expect the highest quality products but most of it seems dollar store quality but not for a dollar store price. On the plus side they did have some hard to find Asian snacks and quirky oddities around. I won't be back. read more

This Daiso reminds me of the Monterey Park location (near 10 fwy, not the one near 60 fwy) because the aisles are smaller than typical Daiso stores. I am getting tired of Daiso but I still buy some stuff from this place. I got edamame steamer, popsicle molds, sunshade, and snacks. It is located at the same plaza as 99 Ranch market so they have plenty of parking. I don't mind driving to Torrance and Gardena locations but this place is just okay. 3.5 stars!! This is my ALL time favorite Japanese shop in Cali, I'll forever visit this cute shop every time I'm in town. The whole shop is LITERALLY under $5 most of the stuff is $1.50 and it seems to me everything is imported from Japan so if you're a huge Fan of Japan, and you want bento boxes and to make your own little sushi etc. then This may be your place to go! This store is super cute with low prices. Almost everything in this store is $1.50 unless marked otherwise. It's like the japanese version of the dollar tree or the 99cents store except waaaaay better. I use to drive to Gardena for this store and am soo glad that this location has opened. Now there's one closer to home. Which is great because it cuts the drive time and I will come more often since irs closer. Come in and check it out. I love Daiso and that can be a huge problem. I walk in only looking for one thing and i end up with a whole bunch of stuff that I probably don't need. Almost everything here is $1.50 from household items such as plastic containers for my lunch bag, bottle cleaners, and other things like school supplies and beauty products. I also got a yoga mat here for $3, you can't beat that price! If an item is more than $1.50, it will show on the item so there are no surprises. Make sure to bring cash, cards are only accepted if you spend $10 or more, no exceptions. Only bummer about this location is parking, it is horrendous. It shares the lot with 99 Ranch Market and other stores in this strip mall so it is always super packed. Love, love, love Daiso and I will be returning! read more

If you are looking for something whether it be a purse holder or pore strips to remove blackheads/whiteheads; then head over to the 99 ranch plaza and there you will find Daiso Japan. Daiso is famous for its $1.50 items and this place is a one stop shop for any convenient item you can think of. I like the well lit aisles and comfort in knowing that I can shop without feeling too overwhelmed. I usually go to the one in Torrance but since this was MUCH closer and it was new I thought I'd give it a try... what a mistake -_- I've never walked out of Daiso without anything. Considering everything is so cheap and they have a lot of random things, I always find something even if it's something I don't need. This location is A LOT more smaller and you can't walk anywhere without bumping into something. It can get a bit annoying trying to get through the little lanes. I also feel like they don't have a lot of things because their space is so limited. They carry just the basic things. Overall, nothing great, nothing bad. Just the necessities and nothing special. I don't think I'll be making trips to this daiso no matter how close it is, I'd rather just drive to the one in Torrance. read more

GAH! Where do I begin?? I LOVE this store! I'm a fob-child at heart and love cute little knick-knacks so I'm a true sucker while shopping here because I seriously would buy everything. I came here for cute silicone molds and there were so many to choose from! So... I ended up buying them all. Lol. I love their Halloween selection too. So many cute things. I think a lot of things here are a deal for only $1.50, but be careful not to buy everything but some items you can find at the Dollar Tree or 99cent store for just $1. I love coming here! I've found a lot of little items that I've been looking for a while now! They have notebooks, and sketchbooks, as well as acrylic paint, and lots of crafting stuff. I went to Michaels, a couple weeks ago, looking for grey embroidery thread, but I couldn't find any, and right when I walked into Daiso, I found a pack of thread for $1.50, and they had grey! Almost everything is 1.50 unless marked! This is my first time going to a Daiso and I was very impressed. This location opened not too long ago so it has an organized new feeling to it. Everything is finely organized into aisles just like a super market making it easy to find things. I have to say though, this place makes you want to buy anything and things that you end up thinking you probably don't need but why not? It is only 1.50! I was impressed by the various of things they have. I will definitely come back to shop around. I could probably shop hours at this place. They have an array of things from cups/dishware to school supplies to cosmetics. Lol parking sucks but you'll eventually find something lol. you have all your typical Asian snacks on the side wall and then you have all the crafts and goodies all for $1.50 unless marked otherwise! I do adore this shop of cuteness and potentially utilizeables. The parking lot outside can get hectic, and so can the aisles, especially when the kids are out (Not in school? Where's the number for the truant officer?), but this seems to be the best place where I can load up on Milkita candies for my sweet Pete, so it's definitely worth my time. It's not too far from my mother's house, so after I stuff myself with some amazing homemade Seoul food and don't have the energy to make conversation, I bring my adorable little Mama to Daiso and we stroll serenely through the aisles picking up doodads, nicknacks, whacky novelty items (double-eyelid glue, anyone?), culturally untranslatable snacks, and objets du kawaī up the yin yang. Also, there's one young Asian woman who works at the cashier who is so pretty and polite and efficient every single time she waits on me, so I thought I'd mention her, and if I can remember to look at her nametag next time, I'll amend this review to include her name. This daiso isn't as good as others. It's always messy and they constantly have stuff lying around on the floor. It's small and crowded. The parking lot isn't great either. It's about a 4 minute drive from my house, but I'd rather drive a few more minutes to go to the one on woodruff. That one is huge, clean, and has twice as much stuff. The only plus about this location is that I don't end up spending money on impulse buys because they have such little inventory lol. read more

Great place to find great quality, cheap (japan cheap) stuff. Great snacks if you know what your getting. Like a smaller and better quality 99 cents store. Although the 99 cents store in Cerritos is pretty clean and nice compared to other places. This is good place to pick up small cool Japanese things that you can use around the house. And the quality of the objects range from slightly better to "whhaa, this is only $3"... parking is plentiful since its located in a large plaza, but 99 ranch is close by, so watch out for carts and stuff. Fun to roam around in a Daiso without an agenda. Just poke around and you will probably find some stuff before heading out the door. Hoarders should probably stay away. My friend and I found some facial masks here, a lot cheaper than getting them from the grocery store. My first Daiso Japan store shopping experience took place at this location... and I never wanted to leave. So many cute and cheap stuff to buy! I literally went up and down every aisle in the store at least three or four times just make sure I got all the cute stuff I saw. There was a $1.50 musubi maker that was out of stock that made my husband and I rush to two other stores to find before we flew back home to Hawaii. The parking lot might be crowded since there's a 99 Ranch beside it, but I think that makes this place more attractive since I can do my grocery shopping AND my Daiso cute stuff shopping.
