My GF and I were en route to the Goodwill in the same plaza when we decided to stop in to Citi Mall. First impression is seeing the streaked tile floor and opened boxes and packaging in wooden slated tables. Dozens of customers digging through aimlessly and moving through the piles which appeared to have no rhyme or reason in organization. Nothing had pricing in the table bins. My GF asked but the gentleman in the front did yell from time to time that everything was $4 & it would be $3 on Sunday. After an hour, I had some party decor, a adhesive wall paper roll, shower steamers, and small drawstring gift bags. My GF picked up a double walled tumbler, 6pk of backup reading glasses, inflatable mini bed, 4 pk Ticonderoga pencils, and car window shades. It was worth noting that although the majority was of no interest, there were people with dozens of items in their cart. To each their own. I saw lots of party decor, disposable plates, makeup, cell phone accessories, home decor, misc craft, seasonal, etc. Few name brands, such as Sharpies and Ticonderoga, mostly generic Amazon goods made in China. All of the items come bought as mystery pallets from Amazon & the store is restocked on Thurs and Friday. Pricing is the most expensive on the restock days and I can't even fathom what's left by $0.50 Weds! Will be back to treasure hunt again! Highly recommend if the overconsumption doesn't bother you & you have the patience to go through the items. It's a constantly refilling pile of Amazon returns! :P The selection is random, this is certainly a "never the same thing twice" type of scenario. It's rows of bins where pallets are just unloaded and the prices are essentially negotiated. I want to start by saying that when you walk into this warehouse setting you may feel a bit overwhelmed. There are bins with stuff just thrown in there and it is a lot of stuff. They have carts to the side if you feel like you need one. It is truly a treasure hunt, and if this is something you can stand behind just try it. I went on a Thursday when everything was $4. I have also been on a Wednesday when the price was 50 cents. They have clothes, shoes, toys, socks, blankets, random Christmas items and the list goes on. I bought a steamer for clothes for $4. I was coming to Cerritos for Trader Joe's. I just figured I had to stop in and see what the hype is all about. Another store full of bins with Amazon returns. We came in on one dollar day perfect ! Lots of Halloween and Christmas stuff and everything in between. I spent a total of five dollars my best friend she spent $45 she got tons of stuff. Definitely a fun place if you'd like to dig. Household items such as blankets, paper towels and toilet paper are also available. The majority if not all of the merchandise displayed on the tables is $2.00 each. I love CitiMall, they have pretty good stuff. You have to look for stuff though, and sometimes I can get annoyed, but when I find something I like; it's the opposing feeling You need to have patience for sure. I can't make it in early so I'm never really in that crazy crowd. Their products are good quality, beyond value for your buck, the cashiers are nice people and even the owners. The prices have increased to $6 on Thursday which is expensive considering most of the items are useless or off brand stuff. Lots of false eyelashes, phone cases, puzzles, off season stuff and expired food. They also charge 3% on debit card transactions which I'm pretty sure is illegal. The young guys running the place have no manners and are very loud. They don't allow you to remove the carts from the store even though most of their shopping carts belong to other stores. This is pretty close to my relative's house, so it's convenient for us to visit. I've only been here once, but we had a fun time finding clothing for only $1. Much of it wasn't worth getting even at that cheap price, but when you do find items you like, it's definitely a good value. I heard they have new items every week, but I would guess many who go first thing in the morning are resellers and probably many items have already been picked through if you go later in the day like we did. Nonetheless, you can still find some good finds even when the more expensive items have been sold. We'll definitely come here again when we're in the area. And some of the prices are not that good anyway. They use what are called dump tables. It the oldest trick in retail. When you though stuff on a table not neatly people thing it's cheap. i'd give it 2 1/2 stars if i could because i find this place very middle of the road. If you are a literal bargain hunter this may be worth your while if you have time to spare as it does take hours & patience [some days i'm not in the mood for it]. this is an active shopping experience not a passive one. You must bring gloves & not the rubber/nitrile kind. I found out the hard way when I was going through a bin and cut my hand on some broken glass. This is a 'dump' bin shopping experience not nice orderly of rows of items on shelves that are easy to see. you have to dig through everything. when there are separate bins for shoes, clothes, food, & miscellaneous items it's much easier to deal with. When they're not the jumble is a hot mess. it's difficult to see things and go through things and takes that much longer and the clothes very often get dirty and messed up so it's not great. You will need a minimum of a couple hours, but some people spend a half a day there as it's very large store. note the aisles are small & most shopping carts large so it's tough to get around sometimes. [just like grocery stores when some people put their carts in the middle of the aisle & you cannot get around them. i know it's a public place common sense right, not always.] prices all over the place. they have different prices on different days so be sure and take a picture of that at the register, so you'll know what's what. they also have a large box section that is much higher priced as well as things behind the counters that are individually priced, plus thing on the floor that are usually marked with price signs. so bottom line sometimes they have a few nice things, sometimes useful utilitarian household items however there's a lot of crap [85%] you have to wade through first to get to them. it's a very different shopping experience. also be sure & know your prices or google them as sometimes not such a bargain especially on larger items without guaranties/warranties. they put more stuff out most days & some days twice. note wear cool clothes as they do not have the air conditioning on. their fans are not on most of the time as customers unplug them to try out merchandise & do not plug them back in. plus, sometimes very crowded which just adds to the heat. warning be sure & check food items for dates as they are frequently expired. even still i would say give it a try as it may be worth it for you. read more

Not quite sure how to describe this place. I absolutely love the deals and I love finding a really good deal but many of the people here act uncivilized. Let me explain... there is this energy that you "are missing out" or there's something "better over there" so people have actually stepped on my toes, bumped into me with their cart and literally pushed me out of the way to get to something. Jay promotes his store very well and people fill their carts with all kinds of things they never knew they needed. You can't go here with an agenda, you have to go with the flow and take your time searching the bins for treasures. They sell counterfeit Apple products and they know it but don't see anything wrong with it because they are selling them so cheap.
