First impression is seeing the streaked tile floor and opened boxes and packaging in wooden slated tables. Dozens of customers digging through aimlessly and moving through the piles which appeared to have no rhyme or reason in organization. Nothing had pricing in the table bins. My GF asked but the gentleman in the front did yell from time to time that everything was $4 & it would be $3 on Sunday. After an hour, I had some party decor, a adhesive wall paper roll, shower steamers, and small drawstring gift bags. My GF picked up a double walled tumbler, 6pk of backup reading glasses, inflatable mini bed, 4 pk Ticonderoga pencils, and car window shades. It was worth noting that although the majority was of no interest, there were people with dozens of items in their cart. To each their own. I saw lots of party decor, disposable plates, makeup, cell phone accessories, home decor, misc craft, seasonal, etc. Few name brands, such as Sharpies and Ticonderoga, mostly generic Amazon goods made in China. All of the items come bought as mystery pallets from Amazon & the store is restocked on Thurs and Friday. Pricing is the most expensive on the restock days and I can't even fathom what's left by $0.50 Weds! Will be back to treasure hunt again! Highly recommend if the overconsumption doesn't bother you & you have the patience to go through the items. Some customers were aggressively throwing items around & coming close to hitting others with their carts as they inched through the bins.

It's a constantly refilling pile of Amazon returns! :P…read more The selection is random, this is certainly a "never the same thing twice" type of scenario. It's rows of bins where pallets are just unloaded and the prices are essentially negotiated. The service was friendly, and everyone seemed to be playing friendly, I'm curious to see if it's that same way when the doors first open, but overall it was a good scenario.

Long Beach has one near the traffic circle that we frequent, but since we were in Lakewood this weekday, decided to stop into this one (there is also another one in nearby Cerritos). It's well stocked and organized inside...actually found some items on sale: 'priced to move!'. Pretty much all the knick-knacks and bigger than we've bought from various Daiso's have been good quality and durable: I tend to lose/misplace them more frequently than having them break. That's what happened for the various chip/bag clips, so bought some more of those ($2.25 which is the price for the majority of non-marked items here). Have had good luck with glass 'tupperware' containers here: tight sealing, very durable, great for storing food that stain plastic (e.g. kimchi). That was on the high end at $7.00 (since marked at 400 yen). Checkout was easy, payable by credit card. Getting good at bringing our own reusable bags to skip the bag fees prevalent in California.

They carry different sizes. Also, I've gotten stakes here to support my plants. Most recently I got a huge support rod (like over 6 fit tall) for my ever growing indoor rubber tree. They also have cute keychains, stickers, and odds and ends. I don't think I ever see staff on the floor but it's also never packed. There's always just 1 cashier when I go but usually no line. I almost always go at night when I need a random thing.

If you spend 50$ or over on one item then expect there to be something wrong with the item... I bought a small jumphouse for a good chunk of money and it ended up having a hole in it. Both of these items should not have even been on the fucking floor. Why are they selling defective items and only allowing a week to return. It kind of gives you thrift store vibes when you walk in, but I like thrifting so that doesn't bother me at all. They had a lot of different bins with a good percentage off and some good deals. They did have some good luggage and baby items and if I was in that phase of my life, I probably would've purchased something in that area. One of the luggage sets I looked up at Target and they still sell it for regular price and it was about 70% off in this store. I did find a couple of clothing items. If I lived closer to the area, I probably would stop through more often, but it's not a store I would go out of my way to drive to. If I'm in the area again, I definitely wouldn't mind dropping in.
