Imagine a wonderful world where everything costs $1.50 (unless otherwise marked), a world where you can buy kitchen stuff, art stuff, cleaning stuff, snacks, makeup, and about a million other random doodads. This place exists!! Whenever I need something random... most recently a bear shaped cookie cutter, compression socks, a purse hanger, and dog toys... I try to stop by this store first. There is a 90% chance that I will buy something, whether I need it or not. Quality is surprisingly good, given that it's a discount store. This is a great place to buy stocking stuffers, favors, etc. $10 minimum to use your credit card. ALL SALES FINAL. Be prepared to go home with a lot of stuff you don't need. yay! read more

I used to live in the area and I was here when it first opened. This location is extremely spacious. The parking lot is shared with a 99 Ranch Market so it might be hard to find parking. Daiso is the equivalent of an American Dollar store. Except they have so much more and it costs 1.50. I actually came in to buy socks for my boyfriend here. they have the low socks so it looks invisible BUT you are wearing socks. I ended up getting 5 navy and 5 black for him. I started browsing the aisles. I ended up buying some extra sewing supplies. I was really shocked to see eyelets and full sized knitting needles. It's pretty much a one store quick stop if you need anything from tiny plates to storage containers to cosmetics to crafts. I have bought TONS and tons upon TONS of the cosmetics here and I've had nothing but great results here. For 1.50 per item I'm extremely happy. The cashiers are very quick and get you in and out. (Much obliged so I don't spend any extra money). You have a $10 minimum on cards... not like this is hard to deal with. read more

LOVE this store. So many cute, inexpensive little gadgets and stationary; I wish I could have purchased the entire store but it would not have fit in my suitcase. I went to 2 different locations during my trip, and found that each store varied differently in their selections - so my advice to newbies would be to check out a couple stores if they are on the hunt for cute little things! This was my first time in a Daiso! I've heard a lot about it, mainly about the beauty area. The location was decent. It's part of a large shopping area so there's a good parking selection. The aisles are small, basically if you need to get around someone you have to go all the way around through a different aisle. Everything there is $1.50 unless otherwise stated. Its like a dollar tree but with Asian products. Bought: Blotting paper, charcoal nose strip mask, microfiber frog cloth, and dog hair trimmers. My only gripe is that they have boxes on the floor everywhere so it makes it hard to move even more. I'll probably still come back. read more

Cool place, if you like cheap Japanese stuff. A lot of things here go for like $1.50, which is a great deal for Japanese anything. I sometimes come here for air fresheners. The store is quite big for a specialized store like this. The variety of things they have here are quite wide. There are snacks, little toys, home supplies, and various knick-knacks. Everything is quite colorful here. One may think thrift stores can give off that dreary, gloomy vibe. Not so here. HUGE fan of daiso!!!!!! :D So when I found out that there's one near home, I was stoked! Definitely a smaller location than other ones but still have the same stuff for the same price (1.50) So everything in the store is $1.50 unless marked otherwise. Seriously, a great place to buy stuff to: -make unique, handmade cards, presents, etc. -decorate the house -kitchen/bathroom supplies -school supplies -etc. I mainly come here when I have to make something for a friend/bf or for school supplies. Everything is so cheap (money wise), which makes it more addicting to buy more stuff! I came in here recently to buy some Christmas stuff, and I came out with a small christmas tree, the tree decorations, stockings, christmas cards, and bunch of stocking stuffers for everyone:) I can't wait until it's Valentine's day or someone's birthday because Daiso brings out the creative juices in me and actually gets my brain ticking to create some cool stuff:) It's not only affordable, but really fun to come with friends or family to just look at bunch of cute stuff:) CUSTOMER SERVICE: I've noticed most workers are either stocking the aisles, organizing, or at the register. They're pretty friendly but I barely talked to any workers until I got to the register. PARKING: It's a pretty huge parking lot since Daiso is in a plaza. But sometimes, the parking lot is packed but I never had to park too far :) OTHER: I think to use a credit card, you have to spend at least $10, but there's no minimum in using a debit card :) OVERALL: great place to shop for any occasion and definitely coming back soon :) read more

I absolutely love this place. I can come here and just fill up my basket with random things because they're so darn cheap and cute! Things from household items, arts and crafts, snacks, etc. it's all here. I never leave with less than 10 items lol. Everything really is so darn cute in here. Walked in here and immediately got heart eyes! The rows were all pink and very girly I was in love. This place is better than the 99cent store and dollar tree combined. You can find the coolest knick knacks here for so cheap. They also have really adorable seasonal decor for the home. I also recommend their lip liners and lashes in their makeup section...at first I was skeptical because of how cheap it was...but it's high quality and I've gotten compliments on the "nude" lip liner I've purchased from here. The manager here is a joke. I don't know if the manager is male, female or if they are a shim, but they are a joke. I purchased a speaker-plug for iPod/iPhone 3x which NEVER. WORKED. The first time I purchased one, I discarded it- not knowing that they accepted exchanges for electronics. I essentially let that slide and ended up buying a 2nd one... and it didn't work again! Unfortunately, I lost the receipt so I had no choice but to buy a 3rd one. I came to Daiso at least 3-4x in this one week alone, with the same cashier-- a Filipino, middle-age looking lady with a big hairy mole under her nose. Sorry (not sorry) that I didn't get her name, but have any of you seen Austin Powers Goldmember or remember Fred Savage's character in that movie? Me: "No, I have an iPod Nano and it doesn't work on there either. Are you trying to say this only works on iPhones?" It is so unpleasant to come here when they're close to closing time. I get off work late and when I do go to Daiso, it is always around 8:45pm. So whenever I go there I ALWAYS hear the workers chatting about how they can't wait to close the store and asking each other if they announced the closing time.. asking so many times what time it is sighing how tired they are.. (they announce it in the intercom every 5 min) they are literally standing by the door waiting for people to leave.. It would be all gravy if it was past closing time but NO. it's just very unpleasant to be listening as a customer. I think they can act a little more professional even if they don't get paid so much since they are working at the place they chose to work at. read more

With Daiso, to sum up all of my purchases, it is simply: You get what you paid for. But sometimes, what you pay for is a steal. Most of their items are a hit or a miss. The parking is such a huge pain! It shares its parking with so many businesses! I guess this is out of their control. There are some people who do not know how to park and would take two spaces. It grinds my gears! It can be understandable though because the spots are so small and there is barely room to open your car door at times. This place is extremely crammed and you will be bumping into people. At times, the place is so crammed I would ignore that aisle until it slowly dies down. The makeup section is so hard to shop at because that is where the line forms. I have to constantly ask people to move in order to shop there. I can also easily knock things over so I no longer bring my purse with me. The quality for some items are so good! I bought an iPhone 5 case there for many months and still use it since! But! That was after purchasing three other cases and they didn't fit or looked flimsy. They have so many cute things and their variety of boxes are so cute! The boxes are all $1.50 and comes in different shapes and sizes. This store is so cute but so crammed. It's tolerable because of the things you can get. I think when the store opened up it was stocked really well, had many things that the other Daiso's have, but as popularity was gained some cutesy stuff hasnt been back on shelf! Especially the cute chocolate molds, or the pretty baking stuff that are usually in other Daiso's. Do not get me wrong, this Daiso is still pretty awesome, its the closes one to me, and I like going in everyonce in a while, it isn't as fun anymore because they normally have the same stuff, but still awesome for first timers! I love Daiso. This one I just like like. It is by far the smallest Daiso, the aisle are so tight that you couldn't thread a needle though them, the selections of items are limited compared to other Daiso. But, you really have to like the $1.50 price tag on all items (only limited few aren't). At dollar stores you get crap for a $1. But at Daiso, you can get some pretty good stuff for $1.50. If this is your first Daiso, please give the other stores a chance. You'll find yourself coming back for more. Parking is tremendously terrible. Actually awful. Lots of stuff for $1.50 and everything I looked at was made in Japan. Nice little store, great bargains if you know what you are looking for. They also have an online store which has great prices. I'm always bound to find some useful knick knack that' I end up buying being most everything in the store is $1.50.
