This Daiso branch made my shopping experience super comfy because they were well-organized and not a tiny bit messy. I went earlier today on a Wednesday during my vacay which is about to be cut short. The line wasn't held that long although there existed a line of a noticeable size~the cashier was quite fast handling customers in front of me. He was rather friendly too; he gave me a little 'Peter Rabit,' souvenir to go on top of my purchases....that mini gift is too cute to open! I'll use it for a mini bookmark. Will take a pic of that in a bit. I took a star off for the noticeable line on a weekday, but it went by quickly so I was still in and out within less than an hour. I'll be back! Prices went up again, FYI~but I needed the packaging stuff for my Soap Bars. Each item went up from $1.5 now to $1.75, so I just went with my shopping list and took off as soon as I found everything.

Probably the weakest Daiso in the 626. I get it, it's in a mall, so that's why options are limited and crowds are much bigger. With the whole bigger crowds in mind, only 10 customers are allowed in the store at the time. Keep this in mind because you maybe waiting for 30 minutes or longer. I wouldn't have minded so much, but everything they had I was able to find at other Daiso locations and they were lacking things that every other location had (once again, smaller mall location). Unless there's no line and you wanna drop by when you're at the mall, there's no reason to go out of your way to go to this location. I recommend the other Daiso in Arcadia.

Great Daiso located at the Shops at Santa Anita. Items are now $1.75 and not $1.50 anymore. There are many cute items to but from here. Plenty of stationary, kitchen items, bathroom items, office items, toys, food, and etc.

Check prices at registers... we had items that were charged more at the registers than what it said in the price tags. And the cashier did not want to honor the price error and just said oh it was priced wrong. Unfortunately for them, it is a law in California that they are violating. It was even posted at their registers. After a lot of discussion and had them call their manager (which was no manager present anyways) they finally charged us as it was on the tag. It's just annoying that the cashier acted like he didn't know and we have to show him the written law then we realized that it was actually posted on there and he knew all along. Anyways.. just check the prices as they ring up.

Always happy to spot a Daiso Japan. While walking around Westfield Santa Anita Mall, we came across this location. It's a bit smaller than some of the other locations we've visited but they still pack a lot in here. Everything in the store is $1.50 for the most part. Prices are indicated if it's greater than $1.50. The store is organized and they offer all sorts of stationary, kitchenware, snacks, sushi making supplies, party supplies, cups, bags, hangers, etc. Employees are friendly and quick.

Hello Kitty hat clip! So useful!

Shopping at Daiso in Arcadia, California... This location of Daiso is at the Westfield Santa Anita Mall. I've been here before and I like this store because of the free parking and the other businesses around it such as Din Tai Fung, EMC Seafood, UNIQLO, Lady M Cakes, Uncle Tetsu, etc. Can you tell that I'm a fan of this mall? Anyway, I enjoy finding $1.50 items that other Daiso stores don't have. This time, I found Hello Kitty hat clips! Sometimes, there's a gust of strong wind that lifts hats off heads! Well, this Hello Kitty hat clip will come in handy and prevent a lost hat! Another great find was Reusable utensils set. My friend, Jules, gave us a heads up about a possible ban on disposable utensils... Like plastic straws, plastic cutlery could be next... Overall, Daiso stores in general carry practical items at a reasonable price. It's good to take a look when you have time. For sure, I'll be back!

Problems with this store: one is pricing. The diner plate I purchased was a sticker that showed 300 yen, which is about $2.75 US, however, I was charged $4.25 plus the Arcadia sales tax rate of 10.35%, which should have been 10.25%. Therefore, my total cost being $4.69. Second, is that they do Not allow exchanges or returns on any item, so if you purchase something and find something wrong with it or it was something you didn't notice that you don't like about what you purchased, well you're out of luck. Third, is the diner plate I purchased has LEAD in it, so I didn't notice this till I got home, and as I mentioned above, No Returns, so I'm stuck with something I won't be using. Be sure to check everything about the item you plan on purchasing there and check pricing. One thing positive about the store, everything is well stocked, clean and well lit.

I love this place. It's like the dollar store, only Japanese and ranges in price from $1-$5. They have everything you need in this place. I've seen stationary supplies, laundry items, makeup, clothes, and food snacks. I walked out of there with two neck pillows, a clothes hanger, laundry bag, and a ton of snacks.

This store location is smaller than most, but awesome none the less. Everything is $1.50 unless marked otherwise. It is very clean and organized. I found omelette(egg) molds, great if you are doing keto/low carb/ cute lunches. They are meant for the microwave and are a hard plastic. I grabbed a lunch container, cake slicer, some food themed erasers, and small doll outfits. I also found Pocky and milk candy in a few flavors. I was not able to find the house slippers I was looking for on this occasion, but was pleased with the molds. I definitely recommend this place for school supplies, children's goodie bags, treats, and kitchen supplies.

The girls at the cashier are a bunch of B's. It's not rocket science, if your so miserable then don't work there.

Looked good inside, was organized and had a big selection. Though they didn't have the lint shaver, just the lint rollers.

This Nordstrom was also located in the same plaza as Boot Barn and Handel's Handmade Ice Cream... I thought to myself maybe they would have good deals since it's a Nordstrom Rack! I did go to Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I found some sweaters for $40 and dresses for around $70-100 on sale. I thought to myself maybe I should wait to see if there's better deals at Nordstrom Rack... BIG MISTAKE! I should have just bought what I found the other day at NORDSTROM because what I found at the NORDSTROM RACK was priced higher! SERVICE: The lady at the fitting room was really nice although she did seem tired. After all, it was close to 9pm she must have had a long day. I hope she gets a nice rest... I found one dress for $174 and another one for $247! I thought to myself oh dear! That could definitely buy a lot of nice meals rather than a dress. So I decided to try it on to see if it was worth the price or NOT? It was not worth the price. For $174 and $247 it should FIT LIKE A GLOVE and feel like a MAGIC CARPET RIDE! WILL NOT BE BACK At NORDSTROM RACK!!!

She carefully demonstrated how to use each stroller they were considering, highlighting the features and explaining the differences, including the advantages one model might have over another. We were genuinely amazed by how advanced modern strollers have become. My daughter's mother‑in‑law, Susan, and I were both surprised at how difficult it was to make a final decision--each stroller offered something unique that set it apart from the others. Susan and I told our children that we would be purchasing whichever items they chose. Because every stroller had features the others did not, our children struggled to decide. Ultimately, they chose the Silver Cross Wave 3 stroller, a Nanu stroller, and a Nanu car seat. Although they offered to cover the cost of one of the strollers and the car seat, we insisted on purchasing everything for our grandchild. We were incredibly grateful for Rosa's patience, kindness, and willingness to allow our children to contact her directly if they had any follow‑up questions. Thank you, Nordstrom, for having Rosa on your team. And thank you, Rosa, for your knowledgeable guidance and your no‑pressure, consultative approach.

I hadn't been shopping in ages, and I was just trying to enjoy a few minutes of 'normalcy.' When my baby started crying, I gently comforted him while still looking at the clothes. Then, a salesperson walked up to me with a cold, judgmental look and said, 'You know, your baby doesn't want to go shopping.' She walked away before I could even respond. As a mother, you're already doing your best to balance everything. To be shamed by a staff member for simply existing in a public space with a child is unacceptable. It's sad that such a hurtful comment has stayed with me for nearly a decade. Mothers deserve empathy, not cold-hearted judgment.

Tonight was a perfect example of why. I watched a manager open a register, help one customer, and then close it--even as the line kept growing to about 15 people. That left just one associate handling a long line, while another cashier was tied up helping a group with a large purchase. Instead of jumping in to help during a busy moment, the manager was on her phone, then emptying trash behind the registers and adjusting carts--completely ignoring the line of waiting customers. The only bright spot was Carlos, who was working incredibly hard and treating customers with patience and professionalism despite the situation. He deserves recognition for how he handled things. It's frustrating because TJ Maxx has great products, but the lack of customer care at this location makes it not worth the stop.
