    Shrimp toast
    Jennifer S.

Ordered at the counter around 6pm, sandwiches and our side were out in a very reasonable time. Burger was seasoned and juicy, the shrimp toast was crunchy. I appreciate this style of restaurant where you order and pay at the counter and there is no server who wants to tempt you with the dessert menu. Husband and I sat at the counter next to a photo of Julia Child. Everything was delicious.

I'm from western mass, and I feel like I've tried every restaurant in our area. This was a little bit further being in Easthampton, but totally worth the drive. This whole old mill park is being redone and it's adorable! Definitely worth a visit to check out the area. One tip for finding the place - don't park in the front parking lot on pleasant street. Instead, take the alley where the big keystone sign is, then turn right and park in the back lot. This is where Daily Operation and all of the breweries are. The food here was incredible! They had sooo many vegan and veggie options but they also had meat options. The best of both worlds! I don't think they serve cocktails but they had wine, cider, and beer, and a few fun non-alcoholic options, too. You order your food inside at the counter and they bring it out to you. All the food came out pretty quick. There's a small patio, and we were able to get a table outside for four on a Friday night. There was even a birds nest right on the patio and we watched the mom feed the babies! We split the cheesy jalepeno potatoes. It was a good app - the jalepeno sauce wasn't spicy though. Everyone loved their food (burgers). I ordered the vegan maple bbq tempeh sandwich. I genuinely think this might be the best vegan sandwich I've ever had! The sweet miso glaze on the tempeh was amazing, the fried onions were SO thin and crispy, and the cole slaw was the perfect combo to top it off. And the maple pie!!! We ended up taking home 3 slices to go because it was that good (although not vegan, sadly). I highly recommend checking this place out!!

Went at 3pm and people were already pouring in! Got the tangerine lemonade/iced tea which was incredible and not too sweet! Cabbage salad was incredible and had a fantastic peanut blend combination. Potatoes will blow your mind. Simple but perfected juicy burger. Favorite place in wmass hands down! It was quiet at 3pm but I can only imagine when there is the dinner rush, awesome light fixtures and lots of space!

Power tip: A hip vibe. The nice lady in front made good recommendations. The blackened fish sandwich and the beef shank soup were tasty. The maple pie was good too, although my girl thought it was a bit too sweet. Although not directly connected to the restaurant, the bathroom associated with it was retro. VERY retro :D

Super cute dining area and open kitchen

Found this place with rave reviews here on Yelp, and we are so happy we tried it. Really friendly staff at the counter when you order to help talk about the menu. I wanted like five different things on the menu but I decided on the blackened fish sandwich and my son had their signature burger and a really tasty blood orange lemonade. Both of us devoured the food and especially liked the sauces used on our sandwiches. The fish was fresh, flaky, and well seasoned but not at all overpowering. I wish I would've tried the black bottom pie, definitely will try that when we return next time. It was dark when we headed out for dinner and we are not familiar with the area, so it was a little bit hard for me to find it at night in a large industrial building near one end - the bright white sign with the Bear on it helped! Inside had a great vibe with not-too-loud music. It was busy but not too crowded and we sat at a cute high top near the door. The food did take a little bit longer to arrive, but I think we were there right at the dinner rush and some folks were coming in to pick up take out orders, and it was definitely worth the wait!

Cheeseburger and sweet potato fritters with mint chutney

Went recently with a friend and everything was delicious. I had a cheeseburger with a tasty sauce and she had a rice bowl that was generous and filling. The staff were very friendly and professional, and accommodating to my friend's dietary needs. The sweet potato fritters were exceptional!

Most excellent. Difficult to make decisions as it's such a diverse menu. Tried the pork dumplings and O G Cabbage salad to start. Andouille hot dog was divine and the Veg squash curry with chickpeas was very nice!

Little dark in the dining room, but with an interesting atmosphere.

Not because of glitz, the restaurant is in an old mill building and the interior and furniture rough, but because the staff was welcoming, caring and clearly well trained and the food was wonderful. The appetizer we had was simply slice tomatoes with dressing. The tomatoes were fresh and flavorful as if just picked and ripened and the oil based dressing was light and full flavored while still letting the tomatoes fresh taste come through. My entree was a unique blend of shrimp, ground and minced pork, cellophane noodles and vegetables in a well spiced sauce that was surprisingly amazing. A simple dinner for two with an appetizer split between us and two entrees and a mixed drink and two non-alcoholic beers came to $96 without tip and was worth every penny. But the real topper was the individual who waited on us. Her smile and service made the night. Thanks so much.

The very kind cook, Massey, said she could make anything on the menu gluten-free. (I think there might have been an exception of Korean dishes that were marinated.) I'm accustomed to Vietnamese broths that have a lot more aromatics, but the simplicity of this was wonderful. The fried chicken was cut in small, bone-in pieces, with a mild flavor and served with papaya salad. Massey is a character and she knows how to cook.

Our waitress was so kind and explained one of the dishes to me and actually showed me how to use chopsticks as I wasn't quite grasping it from reading the instructions on the wrapper. They also were super nice chopsticks and not the cheap wooden ones that sometimes splinter! For our entrees my boyfriend had three different sushi rolls, the Godzilla the, the mermaid and the volcano and said they were all really good! They also were huge so we ended up taking half of it home. I had the Chicken Yaki Udon which is basically stir fried udon noodles with chicken and veggies in a sweet soy type sauce. Our waitress asked if we wanted ice cream at the end and it was the perfect way to end the meal! Everyone was so kind and the food was so good that we will definitely be back!!
