Soup Noodle Bowl Menu. They have tasty treats cooking up for every appetite. Great Place!

Happy to have this wholesome and delicious restaurant a few steps away from our home. How lucky can you get? Our first trip out to "Soup Noodle Bowl" was tonight and it won't be our last. Excellent service. We were brought a very nice pot of hot tea on this cool evening, one of the last nights of winter. The staff served us table side with tofu spring rolls, a noodle dish for my wife and a yummy kuy teav beef similar to phó for me. It was so goooood :-) Thank You Soup Noodle Bowl for making your new home in our neighborhood. We are looking forward to getting to know you. Cheers - S and J

Incredibly good and reasonably priced. People working there are super nice, I can tell the chef is proud of his food and he should be!

When you walk in there's a counter with some premade food. About 6 tables to eat in. Private parking lot around the corner of the restaurant. TV played South East Asian music videos. By the time we left 4 other groups came in to dine and 3 or 4 pick up orders. Excellent food here. Hubby got the shrimp pho. Ginormous bowl with a flavorful broth. I got the fried fish with ginger scallion. A bit messy to eat but probably the best fish I ever ate in my life. It was fried whole (almost whole. No head included) and over a salad of lettuce, cucumber, and tomato then slathered with the most delicious ginger scallion sauce ever. In my head I was thinking that this would be an excellent keto meal but the sauce definitely has some sweetness and thickened with cornstarch. We also ordered chicken nime chow. The chicken is not sauced or anything so you would think it would be plain tasting. But what ever they do to it it brings out the flavor of the chicken. The dipping sauce was not super flavorful. Slightly sweet and acidic topped with crushed peanuts. Teapot was served with a very fragrant tea. Had to ask for a refill. All these dishes plus one Vietnamese iced coffee came to just under $50 Will probably come here again.

Fresh ingredients and portion sizes were accurate to pricing. Beef banh mi: exactly how it should be! flaky bread, pate, fresh cilantro, pickled veggies and flavorful meat. This was my fave selection from the order and would order again each time. Banh Xeo shrimp: was soggy by the time it arrived due to heat trapped in the packaging but I crisped it up in the air fryer and it held up well. Came with my selected shrimp filling with bean sprouts and onions; a generous bag of lettuce, cukes and Thai basil. Then some nuoc mam fish sauce, chili paste and peanuts for dipping. Veggies were clean and washed. Nime chow chicken: fresh filling ingredients, sauce with peanuts and good amount of chicken. Viet iced coffee: good portion size medium cup but my complaint it it didn't seem as strong as the regular viet coffee. Also not enough condensed milk. Had to add sugar to mine.

Although the serving staff might be so busy as I only see her alone. Came for the dine out dinner menu so I got an app, entree and dessert. The keing D' ananas (cubed porked in a shrimp and fish broth like curry with pineapple) and beef bourguigon was amazing and hands down one of the best in Boston I have tried so far. The entree for mussels and fried pork spring rolls are great but nothing out of the ordinary. Finally, the desserts we got the chocolate truffle cake and that was rich but very delicious. But I personally like a lighter taste so the poached pear with raspberry sorbet was a nice touch to the end! The Thai ice tea was interesting with some tastes of spices so it's not your usual Thai tea. Will look forward to coming back!

The reviews looked good and I was excited to try their unique menu... well, let's just say we were very disappointed. First of all the prices are very expensive. I know this is Boston, but $17 for a cocktail is ridiculous! Our server was lovely, he was very kind and had a kind spirit. I was excited to try the "Rouleaux" since they remind me of the eggrolls, my mother learned from her Vietnamese mother-in-law. It was very crispy, which unfortunately is the only good thing I can say about it. The flavor was so off. It's almost as if the ingredients in the Rouleaux were loudly competing for my attention simultaneously! It didn't really melt in your mouth either, it just felt heavy. The other appetizer we ordered was called Dumplings croustillants au poet epics. This was actually worse than first appetizer. I like lemongrass, but MAN the lemongrass was so overpowering. I started to wonder... "is this how it's always made"?! I'm not even exaggerating. Overall, the atmosphere was nice - definitely pricey, and the food isn't worth the hype. Till next eats, SJ
