CASH ONLY. Lovely Mexican bakery! Lots of variety and delicious looking cakes. Yummy! Very attentive service and patient with me as I looked and asked questions. Will be back soon! A great way for me to connect with my heritage and bring back memories of my grandma, with her pan dulce and coffee.

OMG (daily bread bakery) has some of desserts & bread in Long Beach. They also have so very yummy tamales that are so good. The cheesecake is the best that I have had, it's very unique. The bakery is a community hub for the great BIxby Knolls area. There's a small parking lot in the back, lots of street parking. I had the pleasure of meeting Berenice at (Accelerate Uptown) a media workshop for entrepreneurs. Berenice has a interesting story of how the bakery was started with her #5sisters & #parents. I will definitely return very soon this time is now my favorite bakery in Long Beach. Daily Bakery provides pastries for meeting at (Accelerate Uptown) everyone love how yummy they are....

3 very fresh conchas for $1

I was driving home and I noticed a new bakery. I've read good things online about it and decided to give a try. They bake their bread daily and once can taste it. You can start with the 3 Conchas for $1 but you will end up trying others. Be warned, one bite and you will be hooked. The place is clean and the staff is wonderful. What an amazing find.

So this panaderia is just what I have been looking for. I went in hoping to get some good and fresh sweet bread and was so happy when I tried their conchas. They are delicious and soft on the inside. I was also surprised when I found out they had tamales. I tried the green chicken tamale and it was amazing. It's made with white meat and a tasty green sauce that is not spicy. I also went back the next day and tried their champurrado which was delicious as well and not too thick like some others I've tasted. They were out of the green chicken tamales so I tried the red chicken tamale and it did not disappoint! The red chicken has a little spice to it and was oh so good. I will definitely be going back. Cash only!

Daily Bread Bakery is a fresh, Mexican-inspired bakery in North Long Beach. It's a joy to walk into Daily Bread Bakery because there are always fresh racks of recently baked delicacies welcoming you in. You grab a pair of tongs and get to attack the cooling sheets filled with pan dulce and European baked treats. I really like a place that isn't just about indulgence, and this bakery offers whole wheat fresh-baked bread that looks absolutely gorgeous. They also take custom orders. I asked for a jalapeno cornbread to enter the DeForest Park 3rd Annual Chili Cookoff and it was prepared for me and everyone loved it. I encourage you to check out this great business and tell Bernice that Ryan sent you!

Our favorite is the chocolate concha. It is crisp, fresh, and has the slightest sourdough flavor. I tried the dona one time and while it was great. It was just too much for me. Literally, we had to bring it home. I would suggest splitting this because of its size and it has a lot of almond and jam so it's hefty. I also tried their jamon which was sooooo good. I would get this again. For drinks we have tried their Atole, Dulce de Leche and Horchata with Cold Brew. My new favorite is the Horchata. It is so well complimented by the cold brew and it's so smooth and not too sweet. My husband also liked the taste he tried but he went with my now second favorite the Dulce de Leche. What I love about this place is that everything is balanced. Its not too much of anything just perfect. The concha isn't too sweet. It's balanced by the sourdough which is complex. The coffees which anywhere else would be a sugar bomb are just right. The sugar highlights the brilliance of whatever it is paired with whether that is bread or coffee.

We went early to make sure they weren't sold out of anything we wanted. We got a good variety and ended up eating the entire box outside before leaving. My wife got the matcha which was fantastic and I got the Atole latte which was perfectly creamy and not overly sweet. We even got some the morning we left town to make sure we had some to eat back home. Can't wait to be back

I'm absolutely obsessed with their coffee menu, baked items, sandwiches, and their selection of grocery-like goods. I'd easily sign up for this lineup to be my last meal on earth. I even ordered a sourdough bread loaf with olives so I could ride this high for several more days. The Midsommar latte is crafted with housemade caramel, espresso, milk, and topped with sprinkles of fennel and bee pollen - the perfect finale to an already incredible drink. I ordered the Cuban Empanada as an appetizer. The savory rice and bean filling was a perfect compliment to the sweet ripe plantain filling and hint of sweetness in the dough. It was DELICIOUS and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're a purist, like a few of my friends and family though, be warned. Their take on the Cuban is made with Ciabatta not Cuban Bread, Mozzarella not Swiss, and is toasted not pressed... I ordered a Vanilla & Dulce De Leche Cookie for Dessert. It was AMAZING! Soft chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside. The taste of a sugar cookie with little sugar bombs of Dulce De Leche throughout. Perfect. And I washed it all down with a Tres Leches Latte (Hot). It was DIVINE! Very much on the sweet side, which I absolutely enjoyed to the last drop. But, if you do not like it too sweet, you can ask them to lower the sweetness level. Also, they will give you an option of dairy milk (2%), almond milk, or oat milk when you order.
