Parking on street. Came inside to the smell of freshly baked breads and goodies. Greeted by customers and staff in the shop -- which was so welcoming!!! One staff came over as I looked around at all the breads (because they have so many to choose from) and gave the run down of what everything was... they have: Conchas, Orejas, Cono rellenos, bread pudding, AND LOTS MORE!!! They also have Tamals!!! This place is amazing and reasonably priced! Isabella boxed me up and we had small talk. I RECOMMEND & I'll definitely be returning to try other goodies!!

Need a delicious cake ? Look no further ! North Long Beach has a little bakery packed with flavor, low prices and lots of deliciousness I needed a cake for my friends birthday and I decided to stop at Katy's bakery. What a treat! The cashiers are adorable, super friendly and willing to help you find exactly what you need. From the minute I walked in I knew I was home the aromas of fresh baked bread and sugar... to die for! Keep in mid this is a very small bakery but they bake with all their heart I ended up paying $45 for a delicious vanilla and chocolate cake , YES! only $45 for a 1/4 of a sheet which feeds 20-25 it was so creamy and not too sweet, truly a crowd pleaser What else can I ask for ?!?? Pay them a visit when you are in the area oh and try their "cuernitos filled with cream cheese and jalapeños" for a little snack.

This is by far the WORST bakery I've ever tried ! The bread is always hard and taste terrible. The concha's don't even look like concha's. Everything and I mean everything there is of poor quality. The lady's in the front look at you and give attitude right away. Like you're a burden going there. If I could give it zero stars I would.

Que paso?! Creo que se les olvidó la otra mitad...Me recuerdo que era más alto/grande . Y ni me lo cortaron como lo pedí.

So I recently decided to ordered a cake, once again, and it was very expensive for what I got. I also could say that the whip cream was way too much. It was really like 2 inches over the cake or something but too much wipe cream. The taste was pretty good, but nothing special. like I said, just too much frosting. And at first, they wanted to up charge me just because I asked for a round cake instead of 1/4 sheet. it was supposedly a special order and that will be $45 extra. which I think it's too expensive, and the color I ask for ate kinda off, the flowers don't look like flowers. so other than that, I will say that it's OK!

My husband surprised me with my birthday cake for my 90s & Y2K birthday party and I was obsessed! He showed photos of my theme & he even contacted her within short notice my husband said and she was so helpful. Katy made my cake so beautiful! On point! Everyone kept saying how cute it was. It was so good too everyone loved it. Thanks Katy!! We will be getting all our cakes from her from now on!

Right on time, just as ordered, reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. Recommend the tres leches for any (every?) occasion.

I've purchased them three times (each) to make sure I didn't just get a weird batch so I can attest that they lack in flavor, they're just sweet. Sylvanas are decent-crunch is great, not a whole lot of flavor, overly sweet. I suppose I only enjoyed them because it reminds me of my sansrival birthday cakes when I lived in Manila. Nostagiaaaa from the actual texture! Calamansi loaf- fave because it tastes good overall , but lacked calamansi flavor or tartness from the calamansi juice I guess Ube pandesal- I used to get this 3 times a week- just tastes like regular pandesal with a small slice of Cheez. Again, zero ube flavor Regular pandesal- can't go wrong here. Bibingka- decent. Doesn't have the traditional chewiness of bibingka, but just okay in actual flavor. I doctored mine up with slices of Cheezewhiz and salted egg at home. I think the names of the pastries are deceiving because they lack the actual flavor that they're named after. Stopped coming because I felt like I was just paying $20 per visit for something sweet that didn't have depth in flavors. Also, after reading the clap backs from the owner on IG/Yelp reviews towards other patrons, it has turned me off and made me more hesitant to support her business. The guy though (sorry I don't know his name) is always at the counter and super nice!

There are also three tables outside that seat four, four, and two for a maximum of ten. The place fills up fast, but empties just as quick. And their baked goods go quick, so grab them while you can! I ordered the Cuban Empanada as an appetizer. The savory rice and bean filling was a perfect compliment to the sweet ripe plantain filling and hint of sweetness in the dough. They are baked and the dough is thick and chewy, so if you're not a fan of that type of Empanada, be warned... I ordered the Cuban Sandwich as the main course. It was DELICIOUS and I would recommend it to everyone! If you're a purist, like a few of my friends and family though, be warned. Their take on the Cuban is made with Ciabatta not Cuban Bread, Mozzarella not Swiss, and is toasted not pressed... I ordered a Vanilla & Dulce De Leche Cookie for Dessert. It was AMAZING! Soft chewy on the inside, a little crunch on the outside. The taste of a sugar cookie with little sugar bombs of Dulce De Leche throughout. Perfect. And I washed it all down with a Tres Leches Latte (Hot). It was DIVINE! Very much on the sweet side, which I absolutely enjoyed to the last drop. But, if you do not like it too sweet, you can ask them to lower the sweetness level. Also, they will give you an option of dairy milk (2%), almond milk, or oat milk when you order. Overall it was an excellent experience, for me. I will recommend it to all my friends, and will definitely be back!

It was our first time here, so we wanted to try all the flavors! We got the beef, chicken, BBQ pork, Cuban, chicken curry, veggie, and ropa vieja empanadas. I LOVE the crispy exterior of the empanadas, although interestingly, the first bites always tasted slightly salty. The fillings all had decent flavor, but none of them were outstanding or impressed me enough to want more. I will say, the green salsa they included with the order SIGNIFICANTLY improved the taste and experience of the empanadas. By itself, I'd rate the empanadas 3/5, but with the salsa, it definitely goes up to at least 4/5. But I dislike that the empanadas can't hold their own without the addition of the salsa. The shop is located in a plaza with a decent amount of parking. I think there were a few tables outside to enjoy the food, but not much seating otherwise. The girl at the counter seemed sweet and helpful and immediately greeted us when we came into the store. While the empanadas here aren't for me, it does seem like many people like them!

Came in with a small group early on a Wednesday afternoon maybe an hour before closing, and most of the tables were still filled with diners. We were seated right away in the way way back of the restaurant. The layout and decor of the place gives it a classic, borderline kitschy vibe. You can tell it's a place that's managed to hold its own for like 60 years (!!!). The server was friendly, overall service was prompt, and the portions were solid. I got the quiche of the day, which was ham and cheese, and it was amazing. It came with a side (salad was fresh and crisp) and a muffin -- their raspberry streusel muffin was so delicious and a perfect dessert to tie the meal together. I would definitely get this special again, and look forward to trying their other versions of both quiches and muffins.
