Stop by here for breakfast before leaving Los Angeles and boy were we happy we did! The donuts here are so good. Their not greasy like you would find at other places. I know they also served boba tea, but it was the morning, and we didn't feel like it. I got the chocolate creme filled donut as well as a few of the chocolate cake donut holes and a few cronut holes with an ice coffee. My friend opt for a chocolate muffin along with the vanilla creme filled donut. We did split and get to try everything though. The chocolate creme filled donut was absolutely amazing! Probably one of the best donuts I ever will have in my life. The choclate cake donut holes were dense, and was covered in a layer of chocolate sprinkles you literally see no donut, they were good, but not my favorite. The cronut was pretty good. I thought it drench in frosting was a bit much for me, but i still enjoyed it. The muffin my friend got was pretty good. I only had a bite, but it didn't seem to be super moist, but it had good flavor. The whip creme filled donut was lighter than the chocolate one, and it was good, but i still prefer the chocolate. The asian owner and his son were working that day, and one other person in the back i believe. They are super friendly and get a lot of regulars here. While we sat and ate, there were plenty of people that strolled in and were greeted very warmly by the owner. A lot of the patrons affectionately call him "Dad" and he takes the time to greet them compliment them and just catch up with ones he hasn't seen in a while. It's not hard to see why this place is regarded to be quite a find by many people on here. read more

They have the best chocolate muffins I've ever had, but they almost always don't have it, it sells out so quick. Great boba selection, the place is clean have a couple tables and chairs inside and outside. It can get pretty packed at times but the employees work fast. My kids love this place and while the donut shops around are plentiful this one does a spectacular job and is worthy of five stars. I know the "cronut craze" has come and gone, but if you are looking to have a most decadent, sweet, but not too sweet, flaky pastry covered in a delicious glaze, head to Dad's and order a cronut. While I was a bit bummed that the bacon cronut wasn't available, I took it as a sign that bacon just wasn't in the cards for me this morning. Oh I just love this store. Everyone of the staff members are very helpful. They are always smiling and provide a warm welcome. The Boba is out of this world amazing. With a great selection you can never go wrong or leave unsatisfied. They also have a spectacular donut selection that makes my mouth water just thinking about it. 3.5 stars. I came here to try their famous best-selling thai iced tea. I read that their are known for having the best thai iced tea in town, so I had to try it out! The hype is real -- it's pretty freakin' delicious. Sweet, creamy, not overly strong but not disgustingly watered down either. I got boba in mine and I thought it was ok, but not the best I've ever had. I wish it was sweeter, maybe more like honey-flavored boba. It was a little lacking in flavor. I also decided to try some of their donuts, and this is where I was disappointed. I LOVE cake donuts, as they're my favorite type of donut in general. I ordered a selection of their different types of cake donuts, and I was not a fan of any of them. I was excited to find that they had a blueberry cake donut, which is my ALL-TIME favorite donut flavor ever, but I was disappointed! All of the cake donut flavors I tried were very dry and too airy for a cake donut. They should be much more dense, soft and moist just like a slice of cake. I could barely finish them because I wasn't enjoying them at all. I tried a selection of their flavors - blueberry, orange cream (was excited about this one, but it didn't taste like orange at all), sprinkles, coconut flavors - and they all had the same bad consistency. Service was very good and the guy working there was very nice, friendly, and helpful. No problems whatsoever. They also had a parking lot with free parking! Just make sure you park in unmarked spots as some spots were designated for the other buildings located in the tiny plaza. Overall, I was very happy with the thai iced tea and will definitely return for more in the future, especially because of the hot Valley weather! This place has good fresh donuts its family operated and they are nice, unfortunately the staff is not, the Hispanic chubby woman who works there couldn't be more rude. I have been a long time customer but after my last interaction with her I am going elsewhere. From their ham and cheese croissants to their blended taro bobas, it's all good! The Boston cream donut with the creamy custard filling is the best I ever had. We went to scope out a donut place in Burbank and we found this awesome hole in the wall place by sheer accident. We ordered a dozen donuts here, which is cheaper than Krispy Kreme too, and pretended to get it for our.... You know, work meeting. Yeah. Of course... Oh and two individual bottles of milk. Don't forget the milk. And right after you're done indulging in all the deliciousness, you can work it all off at the 24 that's like a block away. I don't really know why I'm even giving Dad's 2 stars, feeling generous i guess. I always have my yelp app ready to go when I drive by a new place to see what ratings it got and if/when I should stop by. Seeing that this place got 4 1/2 stars, I had to try it. So I went this morning, walked into Dad's Donuts and was greeted (not really) by an Asian man in a whirlwind of running around. I stepped up to the counter and was looking at the selection. The guy was really pushing me to make my decision or step aside so he could help the next person ( it had been 5 seconds! and there was only 2 people behind me!) wow, the customer service was just terrible. Once I stepped back and let the 2 people behind me go, I ordered a maple buttermilk donut and cinnamon roll for a total of $2.50. Not bad. "Do you take credit"? "Yes, now the total is $3.00" . Oh ok thats fine. Rings up my credit card and charges me $9.00. Now, I walked in with a bad taste in my mouth because of the poor customer service but now it was gettin ridiculous. So he just tells me to take $6 in cash from him so he doesnt have to go back and refund through the machine because it takes too much time (again, there wasnt many people in the place and 2 other ladies helping customers). So i just said whatever, took the $6, and left. Those donuts could have turned my whole experience around. But they were barely just OK. Ive DEFINITELY had better buttermilk donuts pretty much 90% of other donut places. It was just too soft and didnt have that crisp outside, and taste-wise, just was not too great. Visited this place hoping to satisfy my donut craving and to try and support small businesses. Unfortunately when I got here, there was very little selections on the donuts. There was about an hour and half left before the shop was scheduled to close. I ended up settling and ordered a dozen from the little selection of chocolates and sprinkles that was left. When I asked the guy if he would give a free donut to the dozen I ordered, he refused, stating that I only ordered a dozen and that he would have to charge a dollar if I wanted one more donut. I guess he didn't care if I would be a returning customer. I was really disappointed at the poor customer service and the lack of selections they had. In addition, the donuts were subpar and was stale like the donuts were made the day before!
