I came in just to buy some donuts. The place itself is actually quite nice, clean, and overall pleasant, so no complaints there. However, my experience was completely ruined by the cashier. The employee handling the food had extremely long and visibly dirty fingernails. It was honestly disturbing to look at while ordering, and it immediately made me lose my appetite. I couldn't even finish the donuts I bought because I felt so uncomfortable. Management really needs to pay closer attention to staff hygiene and how employees present themselves, especially when they are handling food. At the very least, employees should be required to wear gloves so customers don't have to see something like that and lose their appetite. This kind of oversight seriously affects the customer experience. read more

Watered down coffee and they only had non dairy creamer or vanilla coffee mate. Lady was pretty rude when I asked if they had half and half or milk. So pretty terrible. To be fair I didn't get donuts, but don't think I'll come back to try them if I can't have some decent coffee as well. read more

My GO To for iced coffee. I get a regular iced coffee and they add cream. I don't know what it is but their coffee gives me the fuel I need and serves its purpose. So if you like strong coffee this is for you. read more

It's a hit or miss place, they messed up our Sandwiches but the size of them balance it out, I'll say you go if your looking for a fast breakfast meal, they can be a little rude but nothing crazy. I don't recommend the coffee though. read more

My daughter and I were looking for a donut shop in the Glendale area that she had not been to. We picked the Donut Den. On a Saturday morning morning before ten, we dropped in to find it fairly busy but with a table or two free. Their selection of donuts was fairly good and the shop smelled wonderfully of fried donut goodness. My daughter picked a chocolate frosted donut and I picked a sugar raised cruller and a glazed jelly filled donut. Along with two large bottles of water this set us back $4.10. I asked if they rung up everything correctly and she said she did. This would have have set me back probably double back home in DC. What a bargain. We enjoyed our yummy donuts at one of the tables before heading out for other planned adventures. read more

I accidentally stumbled upon this place when I was working at a site next door for a couple days. I went here for lunch and oh my god Donut Den is sooo good!! I got their turkey sandwich on a croissant and the croissant was crispy and warm, the veggies they put on the sandwich were cold and fresh, and it was huge! Super filling and perfect for a long day of work. I also got their fresh carrot and orange juice, and then another day I got Thai green tea boba which was bomb. Thank you to the sweet lady that works there. She was always so nice and quick to prepare my food. I will definitely be coming here again when I'm in the neighborhood. :) read more

Enter Donut Den, don't judge its exterior and surroundings. A quick yelp search and one Sunday morning has got me waxing lyrical about the goodies at this family-owned shop in Sun Valley. Where else can you get donuts, breakfast sandwiches, iced coffees, smoothies, and boba all in one spot and incredibly cheap? Southern California is probably chockfull of places like this, but coming from Vegas, we don't have anything comparable. (Let me know if we do!) My auntie mistakenly started talking to the lady behind the counter in Tagalog, but she politely replied that she was in fact, Cambodian. As she took our orders, she had a younger male counterpart in the back start making them, so service was efficient. For around $25, a party of four got 4 breakfast sandwiches, 4 different beverages, and 2 donuts. My egg and cheese croissant came out hot and satisfied my morning carb craving. I got a mocha frap drink, which was huge so I didn't get to finish it. Their orange juice reminded me of a farmer's market -- freshly squeezed and pulpy. I tried some of the chocolate coconut donut and their sugar long john -- both were so SOFT! If you're looking for novelty newfangled donuts, this is NOT the place. After reading all the 5 star reviews I figured it probably wouldn't kill me to check it out, so I did. Wow, holy shitake, ayos-mio. ay carumba, They have it all! Amazing! I chickened out on my usual, quad espresso and I'm glad I did, the double I ordered was @ least 6 ounces of steaming black meth, it's like I got a hummingbird in my heart! A hummingbird with a tiny jackhammer. Definitely my new go to spot for my am. shot of Nitrous, capeesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The people working there are super nice as well. Fresh donuts, plus the owners give excellent customer service. Heads up: it gets PACKED here weekend mornings. This is THE spot to pick up donuts. Their coffee is also really good and so are their other drinks. I've had the Mocha Freeze and Thai Ice Tea. Parking is available in the plaza and side streets. Another heads up: pay with cash, it helps things move faster on busy days...and mnimum for credit card is $10. read more

I've been going to the Donut Den shop since I was a young girl. Every time I was craving a donut I would ask my mom to take me there. We would walk it there since it's only a block down from my house. Recently, they have remodeled and increased the options on menu. They now sell drinks or slushes with boba! The first time I went there to get a boba drink I got the mocha cappuccino with boba. I was disappointed because it was extremely sweet. I'm not really into sweet drinks so I did not like it at all. But the next time I went I got the blended Thai tea and oh man it was just what I expected! They have affordable prices as well donuts are about 75 cents and the boba drinks are about $3.75. They also sell all kinds of bagels, for example with egg, ham, bacon, cream cheese etc. This place is small but welcoming, there is tables and chairs there. It is also very fresh and clean. There is times where people sit there and eat there donuts or what ever they order. This last time I went I sat there with my sister drinking my Thai tea boba and there was some awkward guy just staring at me, it was uncomfortable. But the service there is also good, the girl there is always so kind and receives customers with a smile and attends them right away. Overall, I'm glad they sell drinks with boba now. I think i'm going to find myself going there just because it's so local and the taste was good enough for me to want another one. The donuts there are also very good along with the prices. I recommend this donut shop to anyone who is around the area and is craving donuts of a drink with boba. read more

This is my Local Donut Run Place. The owners before these newer ones had known me since I was a baby as well as my grandparents. The donuts here have always been delicious. Even with the new Owners the Mom and Daughter are both really nice they extended the Menu as well. The fraps are delicious. I always get something knew. Point is sometimes Change is Good. This is a very good doughnut shop on so many levels! Good and polite service, good value, nice selection of pasties, the doughnuts were not greasy just fluffy and nice. I also had the croissant sandwich - ham, egg, cheese. Excellent croissant compared to other similar shops, flaky and fresh - I went in the A.M. - but the cheese had no flavor and detracted from a tasty ham and croissant. The iced coffee was also good, creamy and not burned. Unfortunately it doesn't beat out my favorite place - California Doughnuts. Nevertheless, this place is an excellent alternative if you don't want to drive elsewhere and you're close by. Also, it's a small shop, so if you're a party of 4 or more you may not find any seating. read more

I've passed this place so many times and finally bought a few donuts. I got a chocolate custard filled, a glazed twist and an apple fritter. All were delicious. The apple fritter was my fav and it was probably one of the best ones I've had in awhile. In my opinion.... If you can make a good fritter, you can make everything thing else delicious too. I live in Beverly Hills, but I will gladly make the commute to Donut Den whenever I want donuts, coffee drinks, and sandwiches! For $3.95 you get a beautifully crafted egg croissant sandwich with lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapeño, and Swiss cheese. For 50¢ extra you can add avocado. Do it. [you can also switch out the Swiss cheese for cream cheese which is what I did, and it was amazing. All of the iced/blended drinks are amazing and there are so many to choose from. I started going to this place when I was 7 yrs old. Every Sunday, right after 8 o'clock Mass my parents would hand me a $5 bill and my sister and I would jump out of the car - order a dozen glaze donuts and one bear claw. We were greeted every week by the warm smiles of the husband and wife team who used to run this place. It became so routine that the whole family knew each one of us by face and would give us the freshly made donuts from the back. Up until high school, this was a weekly routine for both my family and their family. Every week, the husband would greet us with a smile and his wife would add in a free chocolate donut in the box because I told her it was my favorite flavor. As time wore on and as my siblings and I grew older and the weekly attendance of Sunday Masses became sporatic, so did our visits here which is a shame because the donuts here are absolutely fantastic. One thing is for sure though, whenever I'm in the area this is the first place I go to. Every single time I bite into one of their donuts I get flashbacks of how awesome it was being a kid and how great Sundays used to be.
