Last month, after running errands in the area, I stopped by Craft Tea House for caffeine. The shop's located in a small plaza with limited parking. When I arrived just before 10am on a Saturday, there was a staff member and a customer, so I didn't have to wait long to order. Inside, there was a couch and a few tables for seating, and the background music was great - very chill vibes. I chose the Mango Pandan Latte ($6.75). It was creamy, fragrant, and balanced the flavors of mango and pandan very well. Minutes after I received my drink, the staff member brought out another drink for me. They said that they re-did my drink because the first one didn't have sugar, which was kind of them, but unnecessary. I preferred the first drink because it wasn't as sweet. read more

I heard some great reviews about this place so I thought I'd give it a try. I walked in on a weekday a little after 7 pm. I was trying to order the pandan drink my coworker recommended. Unfortunately I was told that they just turned off the espresso machine at 7 pm. I ordered a couple of their recommended menu drinks and a buko pandan tea with boba. Although the ladies were very friendly and got my drinks ready in a timely manner I wasn't a fan of the drinks I picked out. I got the t'ube and banana pudding. The t'ube only had a very slight hint of ube and was very bland. The banana pudding had the banana taste and was sweet but I just wasn't a fan. The buko pandan tea with boba was also not to my liking. However boba was fresh and just the right amount of chewy goodness. I'd like to give this place another try and hopefully make it there before 7 pm to try that darn Pandan drink! Overall it's a cute little tea house to pass some time. They have some chairs and a tv that plays some music. Only down side is the location. It's in a very busy intersection on the corner of Roscoe and Woodman. Getting there and getting out is a scary challenge since people always drive crazy there. It shares a small parking lot with a handful of other businesses. I love this place and honestly wish I didn't have to give it three stars because the drinks and menu are fabulous. HOWEVER my recent experience was terrible. I didn't realize Friday was an open mic night, mea culpa. That said, the person leading it, or at least the one on the mic, was obnoxious. Some of us are there for the boba, not the entertainment and that's okay. We want to be in and out quickly. Just because you're the loudest person in the room or the MC doesn't make it okay to make customers the butt of the joke. That's patronizing. Being loud doesn't make you funny, nor quirky. I came here an hour before closing and was still welcomed in. I tried their famous bukon panda green milk tea with boba and it was delicious! I asked for 50% sweetness and it was perfect. The boba like others have said was very soft and good. Got in and out quickly. Good customer service. I stopped by here quickly to get my wife her classic milk tea since they didn't have Jasmine milk tea here. The biggest issue you'll have here is the parking because this store is located in a small plaza and right at the corner of a busy light. I would recommend parking at the plaza next door and just walk because they have more parking spots. I came here quickly so didn't have a chance to take a lot of pictures. This place was amazing! I went here with my boyfriend on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy. The owner and the staff were INCREDIBLY welcoming and sweet. The interior was cute and had quite a bit of seating inside. It felt very cozy and inviting! We got the Aristocraft Latte, the Leche Flan special tea, and the Halo Halo! The owner takes great pride in creating and perfecting his drinks, which I thought was inspiring. The Aristocraft latte was absolutely delicious and really hit that turon flavor point really well! Such a cute Filipino-owned shop with a small parking lot in the front. I ordered the aristrocraft (turon) latte and I LOVED it. Pretty good, the place is chill and the employees are nice. The latte is pretty mid honestly, really watery, but the teas were good. I tried the mango and some other tea. This was my first time here! I'm not typically in the area, but was for a CPR class and figured I'd make the most of being there and find something to try. Being Filipino, this place caught my eye. I was able to find parking easily, but I'd imagine it could be challenging when the plaza is busy. Christian helped me and he was really nice and personable. It's really cute inside as it's a small cafe, with great music playing. I had intended to go for the pandan milk tea, but they don't do tea and boba until noon. Instead I got the mango pandan latte. You can choose from a ton of magnolia ice cream flavors (ube ice cream is the house standard). and evidently their saba (filipino cooked banana) is cooked fresh daily by their tatay (dad), leche flan is made by a tita (auntie) and pinipig (toasted rice) are also made daily by a family member. As I was walking towards one of the chain stores near Seafood City to buy halo halo for the Senior in my life, I spotted Craft's banner on the side of their building. They're at the corner plaza near D'new Aristocrat. Never noticed, but there is an open walkway into that plaza from the Seafood City plaza. Craft Tea House makes a pretty good Halo Halo, good ratio between the ube ice cream, crushed ice and the other ingredients. The flan is fresh and tastes homemade along with the cooked banana. All of the ingredients are in balanced portions that delivers a pretty good and fresh Filipino dessert. The staff is nice and quick. My husband and I tried this place today because my friend highly recommended it. Place is cute and clean. We ordered classic Halo-Halo and Banana con Yelo. I asked if they can do the ice "Razon" style, a very popular Halo-Halo place in the Philippines. It's basically finely shaved ice, smoother than regular shaved ice. I requested this because my friend said she always ask them to do this. As a matter of fact, she met the owner once and he was the one who told her that they can do this, just mention it when you place your order. So I did today but the employee said that they only do one type of ice. So that was a bit confusing to me. Anyway, they were both really good. I like that they use actual ice and not the flavored ice that they use everywhere nowadays. I also love that the ingredients are all home made. The banana that they use is the traditional one. I love Halo Halo because of the banana that's why I love the banana con Yelo because it's all just banana, lol. They also have different kinds of ice cream to choose from for your topping. The only thing really is that I wish the ice is not as rough. We also waited at least 20 mins for our food. Busy day I guess. Would I try them again?
