The cups our beverages were brought in, were plastic to go cups, but I was like okay whatever, maybe the kitchen is busy and they didn't have time to clean the glasses. My friend asked for a refill, and I don't remember if she was brought over an entirely new drink or if the server took her plastic cup away, and refilled it. About five minutes later when I asked for a refill, we were then notified that they charge for refills. So, the first time we were charged for a refill without being notified, and then when I asked for a refill we were then told of this "refill" charge, which is basically the cost of an entirely new drink. I declined the "refill." So, for 3-20 oz black iced teas we were charged $12.75. I understand that prices are going up, and restaurants may charge for refills, but the way this was handled was off putting and kind of gross. AND THEN, there is something on the receipt called "cash discount", but it is actually an additional line item charge (I paid w/my Visa cc).
