We decided to try Jamba Juice's Acai Bowls and ordered the Regular Acai Peanut Butter + Nutella Bowl ($12.29) and a Small Acai Super-Antioxidant Smoothie ($9.49). The acai base had a nice texture, but it didn't taste like acai at all--it tasted more like apples, which was disappointing. The smoothie was just okay, but what really stood out was that the barista didn't even fill the cup all the way, even though there was extra smoothie left in the blender. For the price, both items were underwhelming. The portions felt small for what we paid, making it not worth it in our opinion. On the plus side, parking was easy, and the service was fine, but we're not sure if we'd return--especially given the high prices.

I stopped by this Jamba Juice last night after picking up my order from Lowes in the same plaza. I found parking easily because they were not busy. When I walked inside, they didn't have any guest so I was their only customer. I got a large Caribbean Passion smoothie for my wife and I got a small Strawberry Surf Rider. I asked the worker how was the drink and she told me it's like a strawberry lemonade. It didn't take long for her to make my drink and she even upgrade my Strawberry Surf Rider to a medium without me asking so that was appreciated. My wife enjoyed her Caribbean Passion and I thought the Strawberry Surf Rider was good.

We came to Jamba Juice for a drink and this is the front counter.

Very disappointed with service member. I came here to buy something and as I was waiting to order my 5 year old informed me he needed to use the restroom and it looked like an emergency. The employee made me wait, order first, before he could use the restroom. I am not happy. Could have gone anywhere else's here, Lowe's, Costco...and I wouldn't have been treated that way. My son is only five doesn't know anything.

I've driven past this restaurant many times, so today I finally decided to stop in--and I'm glad I…read moredid. The menu has a little bit of everything, from breakfast to lunch, and they offer both indoor (although rather small) and outdoor seating. I ordered the tacos dorados de papa with tater tots, and my friend had the French toast. We both enjoyed a café de olla along with water. Everything was delicious. The flavors were spot-on, and the portions were just right. The service was excellent as well. I didn't catch our server's name, but he was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always had a big smile on his face. This is definitely one of those spots I'll be coming back to whenever I want a quick, tasty bite.

No Sabo Cafe, formerly known as Krazy Korner, used to be one of my favorite restaurants near…read moredowntown San Fernando. I used to come here for lunch almost every day when I worked in the area, and I was especially a big fan of their café de olla. The food menu (and prices) still seems to be the same as before, but the quality doesn't feel quite the same. Their spicy salsa (cacahuate) now tastes watered down and bland, and even the food and coffee don't have the same flavor they used to. I'll still stop by occasionally for my usual potato tacos or tacos de carne asada, but it's not quite the same experience I remember. The interior has also changed, and personally, I preferred the way it looked before. It used to have a more homey, cozy feel to it. The changes aren't terrible, but I do feel like some things went downhill after the rebrand. That said, the staff is wonderful. They're kind, helpful, and the service is always fast. I still have a soft spot for this place, but I do miss how it used to be.

Had a great experience at Myke's Cafe this morning. I ordered the chorizo plate, and my daughter…read morehad the kids' French toast. She loved it so much that we ended up ordering a second plate of the regular French toast. The food was delicious, and the service was wonderful. The ambiance was calm, the aesthetics were beautiful, and I especially enjoyed the outdoor patio. Random, but the women's restroom was stunning. I personally hate using public restrooms because they're usually the forgotten space and not very well kept. That definitely wasn't the case here -- it was absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully designed.

As always, the food was great, portions are generous, the restaurant was busy and our server was nice. My friend and I came in for breakfast, ordered our entrees and both ordered iced tea. The cups our beverages were brought in, were plastic to go cups, but I was like okay whatever, maybe the kitchen is busy and they didn't have time to clean the glasses. My friend asked for a refill, and I don't remember if she was brought over an entirely new drink or if the server took her plastic cup away, and refilled it. About five minutes later when I asked for a refill, we were then notified that they charge for refills. So, the first time we were charged for a refill without being notified, and then when I asked for a refill we were then told of this "refill" charge, which is basically the cost of an entirely new drink. I declined the "refill." So, for 3-20 oz black iced teas we were charged $12.75. I understand that prices are going up, and restaurants may charge for refills, but the way this was handled was off putting and kind of gross. AND THEN, there is something on the receipt called "cash discount", but it is actually an additional line item charge (I paid w/my Visa cc).
