It wasn't overly sweet, which I really appreciated, and the cinnamon notes came through nicely without overpowering the drink. My only real gripe is the value. The drink is on the smaller side, and I'm not entirely convinced the price matches the portion size. While the sweetness level was fairly restrained, I imagine most of the energy boost comes from the sugar content rather than the caffeine itself. That said, the drink was enjoyable and well-executed. If you're someone who enjoys sweeter beverages and wants to explore a variety of Latin-inspired coffee and specialty drinks, Con Azúcar is definitely worth checking out. I absolutely love this space, not only are the pastries and drinks great, but the service is also amazing which makes this place worth coning back to again and again. I've visited this con azucar cafe in Sylmar numerous of times since their soft opening! I've tried a little of everything and I'm truly impressed on how they've gotten everything so perfectly done. My favorite items being their lattes ( specifically the Dulce de leche latte), and their spinach and cheese croissant! But their sandwiches are also delicious. Today I hosted a meet for my junk journal club and the girls all loved their drinks and the conchas. They've created such a friendly and warm space for us to just create, enjoy some good coffee, and just chat. So I highly recommend hosting any type of event or gathering here! We stumbled upon this gem thanks to TikTok, and wow - what a find! We were initially drawn in by their giant concha, but ended up trying their jalapeño bagels, churro croissant, café de olla, and horchata frappe - and everything was amazing. Came in on a Thursday morning and the place was packed. Such a cute spot with both indoor and outdoor seating, and I loved the interior design. Definitely the type of cafe that's perfect for studying or catching up with friends. I ordered the Medium Banana Cajeta Protein Latte with Banana Cold Foam ($8). The coffee flavor itself was good, and I appreciate the added protein. If you usually don't like that protein taste in drinks, they do a pretty good job masking it. Saw this place opened up a few months back, got the chance to come and try them out. Walking in immediately it's very aesthetically pleasing, the have inside and outside seating very cutesy inside. I was in the neighborhood and wanted a coffee so I ordered a Mazapán Latte, I was highly disappointed the coffee was freshly made so the whole coffee was different temperatures even when shaken, warm in the bottom cold on top. Using the straw made me just get big chunks of mazapán not even crushed enough. The color of the coffee was a darker colored not much oatmeal milk. Really wanted to like this place, today is 2nd time coming in. First visit drinks were basic, i always want to give places a 2nd try, so went back a few weeks later. So. excited we now have a Con Azucar Cafe close to home. We finally made it in and had to try the Giant Concha. We went with the pink one and they do have different colors. What a cute little spot! My friend and I came late on a weekend and there was hardly a wait. Parking is pretty standard- there's a lot in the plaza and more parking in the back. My first impression of the place was how cute the decorations were on the inside! I also was told by my friend that they sold the GIANT concha's here. Finally a different coffee shop opened up instead of another Starbucks! I came on their soft opening and it was super busy which is awesome to see!! The ambiance is so nice laid back colorful murals and see through grave doors that they do open up to a patio. The service was so friendly the staff was very helpful and gave great recommendations. We also tried the horchata; it was definitely sweet but full of flavor. The matcha horchata was a great balance, though still on the sweeter side if you're sensitive to that. The concha pan was everything--soft, airy, light, and absolutely fantastic. The ambiance is so cute and welcoming, and I'm genuinely happy to have this spot in our community. So glad these guys are finally open. They have a lot of great drink options and food. The parking is a little scarce but they have a sign that says there's parking in the back. I ordered the chocomil shake and a cafe de olla with a churro croissant. The cashier recommended that pastry. She was right, it was delish. Then hubby got an iced americano. It was good. I like that they have a kiosk and clean restroom and dining area. The staff were friendly and helpful and they have a complimentary water station and outdoor dining. I loved the decor and enjoyed my coffee break here. The service is a little slow but I realize it's cause it just opened so be patient. And don't forget to tip. Today I decided to visit this coffee shop because Instagram kept promoting this place, and it looked too good not to try. I'll start by saying the coffee was definitely the highlight. No one greeted us with a "Hi" or "Welcome." The cashier clearly saw us standing there but avoided acknowledging us, acting like she was looking something up. When she finally addressed us, she simply said, "What would you like?" without making eye contact or even offering a smile. I responded with, "Hi, good morning," hoping to start the interaction on a friendly note, but she completely ignored my greeting. The entire interaction felt cold and unwelcoming. There was no friendliness, no smile, and no basic courtesy. I understand that everyone has difficult days, but customers who are polite and respectful shouldn't be made to feel like they're an inconvenience. A simple greeting, eye contact, or smile goes a long way. I left feeling unwelcome, which overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable first visit. read more

drinks are delicious! so far have had: -Spanish latte (hot; so far my favorite) -cold brew with banana cold foam -dulce de leche (hot; was recommended half sweetness level, but should have kept it as is, didn't have much flavor to it) -horchata latte (iced) -mazapan matcha (iced; not a fan of matcha but this combo, wow!) -shaken brown sugar espresso (a sip of this one, and was pretty good) I love when they have decals on the foam, makes it cute and fun! Recently attended a noon mixer with other local business owners. I use to frequent the previous coffee shop over a decade ago despite going to Caruso's which is right next door. It's now under new ownership and at 1st I thought it would be your typical independent coffee shop. It's not. Great service and I wasn't sure what to drink and the employee suggested their cafe de olla. Great taste and tasted like fresh coffee.
