Their menu has a good selection breakfast, salads, omelette, juices, burgers, etc. I had an Avocado Toast w/ scrambled eggs + fruits ($12.50) and a Green juice. I liked it. However, for a small reg toast, it cost as much as two loaf of bread. Staff were obsequious and cordial. Service was on point. Prices were competitive. I took my friend here to grab brunch since its near his mom house. I found this place on Yelp when I was looking for brunch places in Sylmar. The food looked good so I wanted to try it. I found parking easily in the plaza this place is in on a Thursday. When we walked inside this place, they only had 1 other guest dining and we had to wait to be seated. Once we got seated and given the menu, I went up to the counter to look at their special menu. I think there was only 1 person working today because I didn't see anyone else. The lady working was very helpful and polite with us. I got their chicken burgers with seasoned fries, my friend got their philly cheese sandwich and my wife got their chicken sandwich along with their red juice. It didn't take long for our food to come out. I like my chicken burger but the fries were not the best. My wife enjoyed her chicken sandwich and onions rings. My friend thought their philly cheese sandwich was delicious as well. My wife also loved the red juice since not a lot of places has that as an option. I've been coming here for my breakfast and lunch a lot recently. It's amazing! The breakfast is delicious! What I love most about this place is the Caesar salad with crispy chicken. My only minor critique is the lettuce could be a bit fresher but doesn't take away from how tasty it is. read more

Don't usually write reviews but would love this place to have more business! Found it on yelp and gave it a shot because I was going to an escape room in the area and needed a quick bite. Food didn't disappoint at all- came out quickly and was tasty. Best thing was the hashbrowns. Came out perfectly crispy. I decided to try this place for breakfast with a friend as it's close to home and I love supporting small businesses. We arrived shortly after they opened. The place is spacious and clean, but because it's so open, sounds echo quite a bit. Our waitress soon arrived with menus and we both ordered the Morning Boost breakfast. My friend also ordered a cup of decaf coffee. The coffee cup was huge! It was like a small soup bowl. Our food came out soon after we ordered. It was fresh and delicious. We had hash browns that were crispy and it was a pleasant experience to eat here. I will definitely be back to eat here again. Don't let the name fool you - this is not a healthy vegetarian restaurant. Or even one that has some healthy vegetarian options for that matter. They could really improve the menu to match the name. Came here with my mom on a Wednesday morning. We were looking for something local for breakfast that wasn't a Denny's or ihop. Found this little diamond in the rough. The ambiance was great. Super cute decor and esthetic. We were immediately greeted by the host and we're seating quickly. The food was delicious! And you get a great bang for your buck. I got the waffle combo and it comes with eggs and bacon/sausage. My mom got the T-bone steak and eggs and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. We both got coffees and had different flavor creamers. We go to church in the area and wanted something brunchy close by; didn't feel like driving very far and wanted to try something new, rather than find something in Old San Fernando downtown. After considering a few Yelp options, we settled for EV based on the really high reviews from other Yelpers. I have to admit, it's not located in the *nicest* location and kind of out of the way from the more popular shopping/dining locations. Upon entry, it's clean, has a cute, instagramable corner at the entrance. We were seated and took a look at the menu which was a mix of typical brunch offerings like waffles, pancakes, omelets, along with burgers and steaks. Prices looked reasonable. When we got our food, my first impression was that presentation really needs to be worked on. My English muffin, egg and ham dish came unexpectedly in sandwich form, which I didn't recall from the menu description. Not a big deal since I ended up deconstructing it and eating it that way. (How do people hold runny egg sandwiches w/o making a mess?) And my watermelon was sort of scattered on one side of my plate. Perhaps a small bowl to contain the fruit to keep fruit from touching my runny eggs, and make the dish look neater. Watermelon didn't taste super fresh, like it had absorbed whatever odors were in the fridge. My daughter's egg and spinach sandwich looked like it was an egg sandwich with fresh spinach thrown all over it. One bite and a bunch of leaves would fall out. Wilting the spinach a bit with the egg and cheese would've tasted better and looked a lot more appetizing.... That said, I think with some refining of the dishes, EV has promise. read more

It was the most incredible flavors I have had in a long time. The photos don't do it justice since they are screenshots to the video I posted on my social media. I loved the presentation of the avocados on top. Fruit hit my belly with lots of juicyness. I wanted to order another Hot French Vanilla Coffee but I played it cool and one was enough. I recently started coming here because I work in the plaza this place is located in and I'm always recommending to my coworkers and the customers every time! The food is delicious, the ingredients are fresh, the coffee is so so so good, there are so many good options for every meal, breakfast lunch and dinner. (Healthy and not healthy) The employees are always so sweet and accommodating every time I come in to pick up, the restaurant itself is always clean and smells clean. I came in today and it was completely empty, I think because it's small tucked away in the corner and more of a breakfast/brunch/lunch place, people are missing this true diamond in the rough.
