I've been coming to Crawfish since 2015, and I must say their sauce is delicious. I've tried other seafood boil spots, but this one is still the tastiest to me. Our family of 4 usually orders the family meal with 2 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of mussels, Cajun fries, and the spicy Boss sauce -- always so good! However, over the last year or so with the new ownership, I've noticed they've been giving less sauce, and now I usually have to buy an extra side with my order. There was also an employee who told me he wouldn't serve me unless I took my water bottle back to the car, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. My family and I truly enjoy coming here, so I hope they continue the great quality and customer service we used to receive with the previous owners. Please don't skimp on the sauce -- it's what makes this place so special! read more

This was my favorite place to eat and spoil myself. Today's response from the main cook soured my experience entirely. Look at the pictures. The shrimp were HARD. Hard shells, hard protein, completely white meat and horrible tasting. Came out like it was bland shrimp and sausage straight from the pop with a scoop of sauce poured in. The sauce too was....different and not good. I called and asked if changes were made because...usually the shrimp is soaked wet in sauce and these are stale and crunchy, hard. It's usually slight soggy and easy to remove. Main cook said I should tell them specifically what time I will arrive, otherwise the shrimp will be overcooked. I said, "No, it is removed when it is finished cooking, placed in a bag and left in the front." She completely disagreed and said it was my timing and said the best she could do is give me a 20% discount next time. This was EIGHTY DOLLARS for a dinner for two. 20% off???!! This is horrible customer service. Way over a thousand spent here over the months, invited friends over, threw birthday parties here, and created regulars over my excitement for this place. I decided to give this place another try and ordered a pound of shrimp with Boss Sauce (spicy), which comes with corn and sausage--a definite plus. I added potatoes, and also got sweet potato fries and wings. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! The sauce was perfectly spicy and extra garlicky, the sweet potato fries were delicious, the wings were huge and super crispy, and the service was great and fast. I've tried the crawfish here quite a few times now, and the service has always been great. The cashiers are super nice. I've done both dine-in and takeout, and the food quality is consistently good. The Cajun flavor hits, and the wait time is reasonable, not overly busy like other places. The ambience is casual with tables for dine-in; you walk up, order and pay, and they bring the food to your table. They also have bottled beers if you're into that. Don't come here if you're a saucy girl. Been coming here for quite some time, recently noticed the sauce doesn't suffice the amount of shrimp I order. This last order, I asked if they can add enough sauce since prior times there isn't enough. As I picked up, I noticed the sauce was still not enough for the 3 pounds I ordered. I asked if I can buy extra and I was denied. Not sure why they limit you on the sauce. Only complaint with this spot. read more

The ambiance is lively and full of energy--so many people enjoying their meals, laughing, and sharing moments with their loved ones. It honestly makes the whole experience even better. I usually order to-go because I'm a messy eater when it comes to seafood boils , but even then, the quality never disappoints. And let's talk about the prices--no one beats them. Ordered a family meal and it did not disappoint. We took it home and the flavor and quality still held up. We ordered in person and got our food in a quick manner. Everyone in the restaurant were families enjoying Sunday dinner which makes us want to come back and sit down to eat. As a seafood boil fanatic, I have been wanting to taste test this place for some time now. Walking in it's not your average boiling crab / decorative ambience but don't let that fool you! The guy working cashier was super nice & they do have a lot of TVs around so it's perfect to watch live sports especially with all the drinks they have. Now as for the food, we ordered the Family Special #1 Company Cajun Sauce Extra Spicy lvl with a side of fried calamari. Now let me start by saying the amount of food we got was CRAZY they really stacked it up for a good price. The food itself was super delicious, well-cooked and seasoned. BE WARNED I loveee spicy things but the Extra Spicy had us all almost in tears!! I usually get that lvl at other seafood locations and can handle but this one was INSANEE. They really brought the heat so prepare yourselves on that one. I will DEF be going back but ordering the reg spicy one instead haha this is a good hidden seafood spot for sure! read more

My family frequently purchases the Family Special which perfectly feeds our household of 5! I called the establishment to ask about the sausage used, because it's such a savory burst of flavors in my mouth! I also wanted to inform them that the overall tray was exceptionally spicy! We've never had a problem with the level of heat before. Let's put it this way, our meal was not an enjoyable experience after five minutes we were sweating so much, we called it quits!! We even ordered a side of The Boss extra spicy sauce. Ohhhh no! That was mind blowingly I was told a new cook was trained. I advised his hand needs not be so heavy with the spices! Had a bizarre experience here. The shrimp was tough, flavorless, and lacked sauce. When I brought up the poor texture, the staff claimed it was overcooked because I "arrived very late." This makes no sense... I placed the order at 7:07 PM, was told 20 minutes, and arrived at 7:37 PM. When I got there, the food was already sitting on the counter. Instead of taking responsibility for the quality, they chose to deflect with a dishonest excuse. I've been here many times, and have picked up my food waaaaay later than 10 minutes. Went to The Crawfish Co. with my best friend tonight and had a really disappointing experience. We showed up at 8:45 PM (they close at 9), and as soon as my friend opened the door, the workers at the front started giggling and turned us away without explanation. We sat in the car trying to find another place to eat, only to see other people walk in and be helped right after we were denied service -- by the same girls who had just turned us away. Then they flipped the sign to "Closed" and continued laughing amongst themselves. We ended up going back in to complain, and although we were finally allowed to order, no one apologized or acknowledged how unprofessional the situation was. It really killed the vibe and made us feel unwelcome. Won't be back anytime soon. read more

Absolutely love this place! If you're looking for a delicious and affordable seafood spot, this is definitely it. Dare I say, I actually prefer it over The Boiling Crab! One of the things I really appreciate is their family deal it's a great value, especially for groups. Plus, their dishes come with sausage links included, which is a nice touch (and unlike some places, you don't have to pay extra for them). To start I want to say that the customer service that this place has is very unprofessional. As a former manager of a nation wide corporation for 23 years, I want to say that they should have more signs about their operations time, I was there at the line for my first time, trying to order for like at least 10 minutes, when it was my turn to order I was told that I was late to eat inside, I was told that I was late and that they would only take orders to go, I was very disappointed. Standing in line just for then to tell me that I was not going to be able to eat inside. The sign says they are open until 9:00 so I don't know why or how they come out with that policy. read more

I moved to the area about a year ago and I was excited to find a local seafood boil spot. This review is coming after coming here 6 times. From the first time coming I noticed this wasn't a very personable place. The owner hunches over his employer while taking your order in the front, it's quite uncomfortable and strange behavior. He's not very friendly either. The food is okay. The workers are young and friendly enough, it's the owner whose energy is off. Today is probably the last day I come to this place. I came with my 2 young kids, ordered 2 lbs of mussels, 1/2 shrimp, corns, potatoes and sausage along with a kids order of chicken nuggets and fries. The male taking my order asked if it was okay to put my shrimp and mussels in the same bag, I said of course! When our food came and we started eating I realized the shrimp was missing. I asked the worker about it and he asked me for my receipt. Keep in mind my gloves are on and I'm in the middle of eating. I asked if he could just check the orders since my hands were dirty at the moment. He did, said it wasn't ordered. I asked if he could just bring it to the table and I would pay for it after since I had my apron on and my gloves on already, lol and they said no. Lost a customer over not being able to handle loosing $10. Very cheap mentality and behavior. Looking for another seafood boil place now. That is all. read more

If you love cajun style crawfish, DO NOT come here. Due to work, I visit New Orleans a lot. And I fell in love with cajun style crawfish. I was in Sylmar one day passing by this place. So I decided to give it a try. Actually, I gave it two tries. The first time I ordered cajun style crawfish to go. It was sooooo lemony that I thought they gave me the wrong oder. Because there was another style called lemon something. When I was in the area again, I decided to give it another try. I made sure it's cajun not lemon style this time. Oh no!! It's still too lemony. They not only put so much lemon in the sauce but also gave me a lot of lemon on the side. If you love lemons, come here. Lol read more

They are always out of Garlic toast ... if you know you are getting busy maybe you should buy double of your inventory. Kinda kills the experience and visit at your location. Besides that The shrimp and sauce is delicious. The young cashier in the front has a smart mouth and can be rude to customers. Every time I go I can hear her. I myself when It was my first time she didn't really explain it to me. I don't know why I keep giving this place a chance and if it wasn't for my sister's pregnancy cravings I would have walked out. Their cash machine was done okay no problem I'll stop at an atm. I was told that they wouldn't start the order until it's paid but I'm like okay I'll leave my sister and go get cash. There like no you have to order by 830 as the kitchen closes. So I barely make it and as I'm waiting for my food at 835 they take another order. So if that's the case why did they make such a big deal. I swear their customer service and policies are stupid.
