Decided to support after attending my church which is walking distance away California worship. My first time at this establishment. The inside was so nice. Very big open space with options to sit outside. My meal was huge I could only eat half. It was a traditional club nothing special. I am open to trying other items as their menu is huge. The service was ok. They forgot ketchup I asked for nothing crazy. I will be back
Food is good from here! Wait time is a little long, but worth it! Parking can be iffy, but when I came there was plenty! I enjoy eating there instead of taking to go lol
This restaurant has a LOT of options for you to choose from, which makes the name of this place make even more sense: whatever you're craving, they've likely got it! While most of my crew seemed to enjoy their food, I thought mine was just okay.. I got a chicken gyro with fries and a lavender lemonade. I truly liked the lemonade, it was sweet and refreshing. However, my fries came out borderline cold and the gyro was soggy, falling apart, and just overall not very well put together. The flavor was okay, but I've had better and I wouldn't get it again. I often wonder: if you have so many things on your menu, how you can have everything be good? Perhaps this was just one of the items that fell through the cracks, so to speak. The inside was spacious and the desserts on display looked appetizing but I didn't get any. You do order at the counter and then they deliver it to your table.
First visit at local spot with my friends for breakfast. Open seating, very spacious. Decor is rustic with high ceilings and a little industrial but the contrast works and feels warm. Lots of light and big screen TV looks like a great place to watch sports. Cafeteria style, order up front and they bring to your table. I checked out the menu the night before and had already settled on getting pancakes. When I got there I was a little bit more hungry so I decided to get a side of bacon as well as fresh squeeze juice. I really enjoy fresh squeeze juice (I saw a little sign) and I did not see that on the menu so I thought I would try it. Orange and carrot juice is my go to. Pancakes were good, bacon crispy and juice was refreshingly delicious. I admit my meal was a bit pricey -I wish I had seen the specials that were advertised outside on the outside only restaurant window. I wouldn't have ordered everything ala cart. My total was $32 including tip. I believe in supporting local businesses but even for me that busted my budget for breakfast. Would be a nice spot for small groups too. I will definitely be back to try one of their daily breakfast special.
Eat here! But be patient. Tables fill up fast on the weekends. First you grab a table. Check out the menu. Which is very extensive. Order at counter. It's always clean and well maintained. We had a party of 8 at 10am. Got lucky with our table! The chilaquiles and two fried eggs with green sauce-outstanding. Chicken and waffles was enjoyed by my boy. The chicken was crunchy and flavorful. The pancakes are fluffy goodness. Seriously, eat here.
First time here but it definitely won't be the last. I asked the staff which was more popular breakfast burrito or chorizo burrito. He said definitely chorizo burrito and he was not wrong. Really good flavor. It seemed like it was homemade because it didn't have that store bought orange grease dripping all over. You get a choice of salad or chips. I chose the chips. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. A little container of green salsa came with the meal. Next time I need to ask for the red. The burrito didn't need anything else so I used the green salsa for my chips. I ate everything! I didn't realize I didn't eat anything the rest of the day until I went to bed! It's a "self" serve type of restaurant. You grab a menu when you walk in. Order at the counter and they give you a table number. They'll bring your food out to you. If you want anything there's a long counter near the "bar". Take out containers, all the condiments. They do have napkin dispenser and salt and pepper on the table. They have a refreshing cucumber lemon also for self service. The space is very rustic industrial. I love the spacious restaurant. It's very ADA friendly with a ramp leading to the bathroom. Everything was kept very clean and tidy. Highly recommend for groups. Everyone orders individually at the counter. No "mathing" needs to be done after you have a full belly. The only downside is parking. They don't have any public lots on their side of the street. There is one hour free parking on Maclay but it is on the same block as other popular restaurants.
I was really excited to come to U Crave in San Fernando with my friend after reading all the good reviews. I ordered the chicken pesto panini, which was recommended by the cashier, and my friend ordered the Alfredo. We also got two drinks. Unfortunately, the first drinks we received were not very good. My drink had almost no sweetness to it, while my friend's lemonade tasted oddly salty. The staff was very kind and gladly replaced both drinks, which I really appreciated. However, the food was very disappointing. Everything tasted extremely bland, and I didn't really taste much seasoning or flavor in either dish. On top of that, my friend found an eyelash in her pasta. We decided not to mention it to the waiter because we already felt like we had caused enough trouble with the drinks, but it was still very unpleasant and concerning. The scenery and atmosphere were definitely pretty, and I appreciated how kindly the staff handled the drink issue. Unfortunately, based on our overall experience with the food, I don't think I'll be coming back.
We stumbled upon this gem in the heart of San Fernando in mid-February, and I'm glad we did. It's truly a family-friendly spot with plenty of street parking. The space is large and open, with lots of tables that can accommodate different party sizes, and the music set a nice, relaxed vibe. The food was great. We tried the crunchy French toast topped with banana, Nutella, and strawberries -- BOMB. We also ordered the breakfast sausage bagel, which was satisfying and perfect if you want something filling without being too heavy. The orange juice tasted fresh, which is always a plus. The only thing I'd suggest improving is the coffee -- unfortunately, it wasn't great. Service-wise, the staff was friendly and organized. Each waitress handled her own section, and everything from the tables to the floors was clean. As for pricing: tip was not included (as of Feb 2026). We paid $44 for two breakfasts and two drinks, which feels fair for the current market. Will I come back? YES.

My go-to order so far is the fried chicken panini with a large side of potato salad for about $3 extra, which is honestly a solid deal. As a self-proclaimed condiment queen, this place passed the test. The chipotle sauce and garlic pesto are chef's kiss--absolutely delicious. The only real caveat is parking, which can be tricky depending on the time of day. There is outdoor seating available, though it's not the best spot if you're looking to study or work. Overall, a great casual spot with variety, value, and flavor.
This is my spot for breakfast! My go to is the breakfast burritos soo yummy! They also have pretty good coffee. Service is always good always greeted with a smile. It definitely gets packed on the weekend but wait time isn't bad.
I was craving a crepe and UCRAVE delivered! Ordered the black and white crepe and it was so delicious! So much nutella, lechera, and lots of bananas! The portions are huge and very share-able! The team was very kind as well! Checking in regularly and making sure we were okay. I appreciated the comfortable couch seating and the chill, casual ambiance. Great spot to check out, especially if you have a sweet tooth!
Nice "self serve" restaurant (buy food, seat yourself and they will bring food to you. Especially nice because they opened for LONG hours. Very comfortable environment with couches and tables. Amazing menu with all day breakfasts, sandwich, salad, taco, pancake, crepe etc etc. Very reasonable price. Saw a lot so different kind of people here, families, students, and friends just gathered. We tried the fish taco and shrimp taco. Both excellent and fresh. Would recommend this place to people that happen to be in that neighborhood.
Went here last night for a late dinner and had a really good first experience. The menu is massive so we were overwhelmed at first. It might help to look at the menu online ahead of time. The place has the industrial aesthetic which we really liked. Before ordering at the counter, the staff let us know there will be about a 50-minute wait. We were fine with it since we weren't in a rush or super hungry yet. So we were pleasantly surprised that our food actually came out much sooner than expected. It felt like a normal wait time you would expect at a sit down restaurant. My son had chicken nuggets and fries, my husband had chicken and waffles with a vanilla frappe, and I had the chorizo con huevo and a michelada. The food was warm and delicious, and it's like they were all made fresh. Portions were also big, so we had leftovers to take home. I thought the prices were a good value for how much food you get. The only thing we thought was overpriced was the $10 large frappe but we will just get something else next time lol. Service was great and the two ladies that helped us were lovely and friendly. They do mention on their website that food can take longer during busy times since it's made fresh, so come with patience. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu! read more

Super disappointed! We brought some friends here for crepes on a Friday night because Yelp shows that the café closes at 11 PM. We arrived around 10 PM, an entire hour before closing, only to be told that everything would have to be served in to-go boxes. We even spoke with the manager, who explained that the employees need to leave exactly at 11 PM, so they stop serving everything in-house before closing time. If the café is technically open until 11 PM but customers can't actually dine in during the last hour, that should be clearly communicated on Yelp and to customers before they come in. We came specifically to sit down and enjoy crepes with our friends, so being told everything had to go in a to-go box was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, we won't be coming back. read more

For starters the menu is overwhelming! You don't know what kind of spot this is before you walk in but let me tell you, there is VARIETY! If you have a group or picky eaters they are guaranteed to find something they can eat/like! I ordered 2 mimosas, they are $1 and taste like it lol. I got a tostada salad and a salmon salad. They were delicious, and they offered to have it pre tossed or not which was nice! The portions are pretty big so be prepared to have some leftovers! I ordered an açaí milkshake and it's delicious and the lavender lemonade is a great choice! Next up we grabbed some desserts and they we're quite tasty! read more

With the menu being the brightest you'll ever see a menu be, you'd think that the food wouldn't be as great or the portions might not be as big. I've been here a couple of times and every time I visit I am genuinely surprised!! Everything I've had here is amazing, my most recent visit being my favorite. I had no idea that the club sandwich would be so big!!! Haha I took the leftovers home and had food for the entire day. The chocolate cake dessert blew me away, if you're a huge chocolate lover you're going to find this so delicious! The matcha latte with oat milk was also so yummy! I definitely recommend any of their sandwiches and paninis the most, they're so filling and flavorful with fresh ingredients always. The service has always been nice here, no issues ever and they'll answer any questions you have without hesitation. Thank you for having me :) read more
It been a while since I came to this UCrave location but since my wife and I was in the area, she was craving some crepes. We were lucky to find street parking just down the block so we walk to this place. I had to use the bathroom and my wife was craving crepes so it all worked out. They were not busy at all when we came, so I was able to just walk to the counter to place our order. I asked for the Nutella and powder sugar to be on the side because they tend to put a lot on or in the crepe. The men bathroom here is very dark since the light is very dim so be aware. They made the strawberry crepes quick and we took it home to eat it. The crepes was very good and the strawberry was delicious. read more

This cafe is adorable! They have a large menu with a different variety of things to choose from. We stopped in for brunch and it was really yummy! They are a little on the pricey side, this whole meal was about $65 with out tip included. They are a small business though so I can understand. Their service is pretty good and the girls that helped us were very nice. The vibes are very relaxed in here, you could work remotely or join a friend for a lunch date. I would recommend. read more

I went here for dinner with some friends. There was a lot of street parking outside the place which was really nice. The restaurant was spacious and it's where you order and then seat yourself. The menu was so long so there is a variety of food to choose from. I got the fish tacos and it was decent. It had a sweet flavor to it prob from the red cabbage so I wish I didn't get it. I wish I got something else but I wouldn't mind coming back since there was a variety of food. read more

I came to Crave Café thinking that my friends were going to take me to a place where it's dull like a normal breakfast place, but I was also impressed by receiving the food and just having the waiter named Lily and James attending to us like we're royalty. UCRAVE CAFE AND GRILL is great for brunch! Went with the sisters and it was awesome! Food selection is big. Everything we ordered was delicious. Chilaquiles had an extra layer of flavor that I can't ID. Cheese Crepe is solid if you want to play it safe. Chorizo Burrito was massive and more than enough for two people for breakfast. They have an extensive Mimosa menu so we ordered two different flavors. Half of us preferred the cucumber, the other half preferred the pineapple flavored one. Staff are friendly and helpful. Space is large and could accommodate large groups. There is a parking lot in the back but it gets full. Metered parking is available in the surrounding sreets. Must visit again to try the other items on the menu. read more

The service is was great! When we arrived we were the first ones there and were able to get a nice view of the rainy day. The menu is pretty big but it's organized by sections which helps a lot. Me and my husband ordered the breakfast burrito and steak with eggs. The food came fast and was very delicious. To drink we did have a hot chocolate and a latte. Would definitely come back for brunch to try the mimosas they were promoting! read more

It took 15 minutes to place an order and 65 minutes to get our food. Order: Deluxe Tuna Panini w/fries 3egg breakfast Iced Coffee Coke $50.79 First- don't call it a Panini when it's a plain simple sandwich. The bread wasn't even toasted. Second- don't explain delays by saying "we're short staffed". If you don't have the staff to efficiently serve clientele then don't open or at least pause the Doordash and Postmates orders temporarily. I still payed the full price ($50) for eggs and a simple sandwich. Even with the long wait, I still had hope for the sandwich... but it ended up tasting bland. Maybe it was the iceberg lettuce, or the fact that I had already downed a large iced coffee by the time I got my food. Incredibly disappointing experience. Which is too bad because I like this place. read more

Someone actually did. The place is owned by the original Owner of Crave Cafe in Sherman Oaks. He sold that location and now opened this one up.
What time does this place close?
As of 12/23/19, the hours are from 8am-11pm. Owner is still deciding whether it should be a 24 hour location or not.
Is this owned by the same people as the one in Sherman Oaks?
Actually it is owned by the original owner of the one in Sherman Oaks. The owner told me that he sold the other two restaurants. There is even a Huge sign on the front window that says from the Original owner of Crave Cafe in Sherman oaks.
