It was a bit hard to spot as I was driving down the street, but they had a sandwich sign that got my attention as I was walking. It's super cute inside with the mismatch decor. I ordered their seasonal banana latte with almond milk (it was a bit too milky, but I did enjoy the toffee bits) and the burrata sandwich without the prosciutto (I noticed on my receipt they took $2 off bc of this, which I was nice of them bc normally I get charged the same price even though I'm eliminating an ingredient). The sandwich took a while to come out; the ciabatta bread was perfectly toasted, and I really enjoyed the flavors of the sandwich. It also came with the skinniest pickle I've ever had.

Bodevi is such an adorable coffee and wine spot. The staff is welcoming and friendly. i decided to order their Matcha Latte( so good). i will definitely be coming back to have a glass of wine and cheese board. you don't find these types of places in the SFV that's for sure.

Bodevi Wine & Espresso Bar is such a little gem. It's the perfect spot when you want a relaxing vibe but still want good food and drinks. They've got a fun mix of wine/champagne and coffee/espresso drinks, plus easy bites like cold sandwiches, bagels, pastries, and avocado toast (you can add a boiled egg too). The staff is always genuinely sweet, and the music is consistently mellow in the best way never too loud, just a nice background vibe. It feels like the kind of place people come to meet up or get work done (lots of laptops). One note: the internet isn't great unless you're on their WiFi, so definitely connect when you get there. My go-to orders: the loaded avocado toast and the pistachio burrata sandwich both are seriously delicious. Drink-wise, I love the matcha and the lavender honey latte. Only small complaint: I wish they used bigger plates! The toast/sandwiches come on dessert-size plates, so it can get messy because there's barely any room... and they add orange slices which takes up the little space that's left I've had food end up on the table (and my lap) more than once. That said, I keep coming back. Great vibe, great staff, and really tasty food + drinks.

Came here in here on my break and the vibes were just what I needed super chill and relaxed. the servers were so nice and welcoming! I ended up getting the turkey sandwich which was recommended to me which was so delicious and i paired it up with their lavender matcha and it just hit the spot! I love this place will be coming back for sure!!

Came here for it was great! Really loved the layout and decor, very nice for having a lunch with friends or to sit and get work done. I love that music is not loud like some cafes. Food is good, i got the classic avocado toast. Service was good as well. Will definitely come by again and try other food and drinks. Also really loved that they had a display of artworks available for purchase and a detailing of the artists that created them, who are also from the San Fernando community.

My FAVORITE coffee shop in San Fernandon staff is amazing, super quiet in the mornings, clean and cute inside, and I'll never get over their classic vanilla latte and their con miel!

Love the coffee here! I usually get the iced caramel latte and it's perfect, but this last time I was there I ordered the pumpkin spice latte of their fall menu. It was so yummy, it tasted so much like fresh pumpkin puree. The ambiance in here is super relaxed, but I have seen on their IG they sometimes put on pretty cool events. The service is also great, the staff is always super friendly. Lots of parking in the back as well, street parking here can be kind of crazy.

Upon entering i was met with such a warm inviting environment. Couches and comfy chairs welcome you. I got the turkey sandwich to eat which was filling and good size for the price! We also got the banana chocolate loaf...YUM! So good. I got one of the October flavor specials. The Gizmo midnight latte! Candied Pecan was the flavor of the latte, with candied pecans on top. It was so delicious! Such good espresso shots. The latte was so pleasant to drink. I'd return in a heartbeat if I'm in the area!

I've been here before and had a yummy coffee & pastry. Today I went for an iced matcha & wasted $10 for what tasted like lucky charm milk. $8 just for the latte it's self then an extra $2 when I wanted more matcha to hipefully balance it out & actually taste like matcha. No luck. At all. I tossed the whole thing. I didn't want to bother them for money back, or an alternative drink. Coffee = Good . Matcha = absolutely not

What an excellent place to get work done or chat with some friends. I had the pleasure to visit on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a honey lavender latte and a pistachio burrata sandwich. Everything was very tasty! There are plenty of outlets under the main bar/counter and the staff is friendly and welcoming!

Another great San Fernando gem! This cozy yet lively spot offers tea, coffee, wine, pastries and a couple of dishes. I really like how they have a private area within the restaurant making it a great study area or possibly reserving it for an intimate dinner or celebration. I love their prosciutto and pesto sandwich so much that even though I have found a hair on my sandwich 2x I still keep going back for it lol. 4 stars because it's happened on 2 different occasions but staff was very accommodating and offered me a new sandwich.

First time here and I liked the coffee! Love the vibe in here, for a nice relaxing cup of coffee while just having a nice conversation or focused on your computer for work/ school. Conversation level of noise, and quick and fast service. Small menu but for this small coffee shop in the middle of San Fernando "mall" it's just right. Get your caffeine fix here at Bodevi!

Oh my, a Honey Lavender Latte? Say less!

After a long and tiring drive back home to SoCal from the Bay Area, Bodevi was just the perfect gem of a coffee stop I needed! Nestled within downtown San Fernando, Bodevi is a uniquely cool coffee roaster's refuge and paradise. We ordered the Honey Lavender Latte and Americano and both were excellent. Perfect amount of sweetness and excellent flavor and coffee. The barista is a solid dude and knows his coffee and was wonderful enough to bring out the drinks to us. I Loved the artsy decor, old records, and plants on display. The shop is clean and tidy and also a peaceful spot to get any work done. If I lived around that area of the San Fernando Valley and not in Orange County, I'd frequently visit this spot haha.

Is this a good place to bring my laptop and work remotely?

I think this is a good remote work location. I've personally worked from Bodevi and found it enjoyable and easy to focus. There are outlets along the bar and I think by a table in the back. I have not taken meetings here though.

Almond butter, banana, & jam toast: sounds amazing but is there strawberry in the jam? I'm allergic to strawberries.

They have a nice interior build-out with a huge wine bar, but it was a nice evening and we elected to sit on their spacious patio. Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Sarah, who is the bartender and also manages a couple of nights a week for the owner. Sarah is super friendly, explained the menu and provided great table service. They have a large wine selection. My wife ordered a chardonnay and I stuck with an Arnold Palmer. We ordered their bruschetta appetizer, served as six pieces of toasted bread and the expected toppings. It was a perfect start to our meal. We were not super hungry, and selected a three-cheese charcuterie board. You are able to select your cheeses, and Sarah again helped us make our decision. It was perfect for a summer-weather afternoon (although in March) and we chatted, had our drinks and picked at the board until it was gone. During our meal, Sarah was very attentive to our needs. My wife tried another chard, and we ordered their banana dessert, which had great flavor and was a nice end to the meal. This is a great place to quietly enjoy some wine, beer and food. They have a good sized menu and offer a brunch menu on Sundays. (Diane, Sarah needs a bonus, she made the evening much fun).

Unfortunate for me as I've had a knee replacement and we drove around for 30 minutes trying to even find a parking spot to get in there cause we had to pick up our wines with the subscriptions /membership that we had. My daughter and her friend were there and enjoy their selves immensely so with all the hype that she was telling me about this place I was excited to go, but like I said, unfortunately, you were having Christmas in July nothing but screaming kids running around and the streets were packed... not what I wanted for a relaxing environment. But once we got into the establishment, like I said, we sat on the couch we started to have our tasting. It was peaceful and quiet and then all of a sudden these family start walking in with all their kids and it became a romper room. This is a winery. This is a place that adults go to relax shouldn't have children running under foot while you're trying to taste wines or just relax. That was the biggest disappointment I have with this place is that you allow children to run around I will not return. I'd rather go to a wine where I can relax... Then all of a sudden the fans stopped working. Our waiter informed us that there was no power in the entire restaurant inside or out. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldnt places like these have back-up generators just in case? Shortly thereafter he came and told us LADWP would arrive in 1 hour which literally means 2 to 3 hours minimum so instead of having our dinner for breakfast we asked to close out our bill (which should have been comped but they did not even deduct anything for the tremendous inconvenience), after just two plates of Hamachi Crudo and four drinks. Being in a party of 4 girls coming from high tea, we were dressed in elegant dresses, first comment was asking if we were coming from church, followed by eye flutters, short "okay" with an upward inflation to a joke about the day, an impatient comment about hurrying up and trying the wine while we were talking, asked for water when we were out, were left to pour the rest of our wine, didn't ask how the food was all the while was attentive to the table behind us, the cherry on top comment was when we were discussing the bill at the end, he was hovering at the table behind ours, then when we were ready, we asked to split the bill into 2, my portion on mine and the rest on another card, he then said "this isn't like a drive through, we can't do it that way" so I asked him to explain his comment, cause it was passive agressive and rude. After he wasnt able to becuase he wasnt expecting me to call out his rude comment, I had to then break it down and specify what I had ordered, he then sold "okayyyy....so how much, cause we don't itemize?" I had to again express for him to specify how they do it cause he has still yet to explain where his attitude is coming from and explain how they do their check splits, from my understanding it just felt like he wanted to play dumb and make me to the math, one I did he was like "ohh, okay" should have asked for the manager but we paid and left, I hasnt had this experience before being a returning customer, but he needs an attitude adjustment as his attitude was completely out of pocket. For starters, I think the pours were kind of lacking? Just feels like much smaller pours than I usually get at wine bars. The menu was pretty small, and apparently out of date because a few of the things we were interested in they didn't have that day. We also had like 3x different people serve us, so by the end of it I wasn't even sure who I should be asking for the check. My friend and I sat outside, so maybe the service would be better inside or at least at the bar, but it was just kind of... average at best. I think our waitress was new, so she wasn't really able to answer any questions, and the ones she did answer, ended up being corrected later. Which actually is TOTALLY fine, like I totally understand. But then when she brought our first wines, she accidentally knocked one over or hit it with the other glass or something (it happened fast) but it shattered one of the glasses spilling red wine everywhere, and even a drop on my white shirt!! She was suuuuuuper apologetic, and I can tell she felt bad, and we were not mad. We just kept saying that its okay and accidents happen. She did even bring me soda water for my shirt. Then, we asked if we can do the charcuterie plate with just cheese and no meats (we don't eat pork) and she said sure. She told us the number of cheeses to choose, we did, but then we got a lesser number served to us by a different waiter, and incorrect cheeses. He kindly brought one of the missing cheeses, but informed us that the lesser amount was actually the correct amount for this menu item. Okay, we would have chosen differently had we known that, but alright. Maybe I'm delusional, but between the cheese mixup and the wine spillage (and staining my white shirt), I kind of half expected a little something from them. Like comping one of the four glasses of wine, or maybe an extra little top off or something to say "hey sorry we're a mess today." I would never ASK for it, because as it was I felt bad for the girl who was new, so we just paid (and tipped of course) and left. Overall, its just nothing to write home about...
