Came into Jardín on our way to visit my parents in Santa Clarita. So glad we stopped by it was such a pleasant experience, staff was very helpful with questions and recommendations. I ended up ordering their horchata cold brew which was very delicious! Will definitely be back when in the area!!
Cafe de olla is pretty good. Friendly staff . Clean. Will definitely come back to try other drinks in their menu .
Solid coffee spot! Work just down the street at the hospital and very convenient to pick up coffee on the way but just a heads up -- it can get busy in the morning so plan ahead! ** Parking: small lot in the back but there's also some street parking if need be ** Ambiance: shares the space with another restaurant but the actual space itself of the cafe is small. There's a small bar-like area with stool seating but not lots of space to do work if it gets busy but otherwise very cute and clean! ** Service: wanted a drink that was no longer on the menu but they graciously offered to make it for me any way which I really appreciated! ** Drinks: got the mint mojito cold brew with a vanilla cold foam -- yum!! Reminds me a lot of the one from Philz coffee. Not too sweet and perfect amount of richness if you don't want to drink it straight black. Again this is no longer on the menu but they have a nice selection of other classic and novelty/specialty drinks to choose from :)
Always looking for a good cafe. Stumbled upon Jardin. Not your typical cafe layout. Maybe a bit confusing when entering. Being that they have two sections. Wasn't sure what counter to order at. Not a huge selection but good items to choose from. I opted for their horchata matcha which was surprisingly solid. Not overpowering and not too sweet. Good deal at $8 even with a 10% tip. I had to use their only restroom but it was occupied for a long time so I left. I would come back to try more items.
Greta coffee find! Tried the Iced Cafe Abuelita. Perfect mocha taste and sweetness. Good options for coffees and lattes, and lots of yummy looking pastries. tried the churro Crossaint which was insane in the best way. Cute spot as an offshoot of another restaurant. Few minutes off the 210. Would recommend.
Finally got around to trying this place and it was much closer than I expected! Parking is a bit rough, they share a small lot in the back and most of it was full when we got there. They have EV spots but no EV chargers which was odd? And they also have specific Employee only spots so it's very limited. Might be luckier finding a spot on the street since it doesn't seem too busy! Walked in and were greeted by the lovely staff. It's connected to a Mexican restaurant which is very convenient and definitely want to try it next time we visit! My bf got the salted maple matcha and I got the iced cookie butter latte. Our drinks came out pretty quick and they were delicious! Definitely on the sweeter side, could've gotten an extra shot in mine (maybe next time) but overall very delicious. Love that it was a hazelnut latte with cookie butter crumb/foam! Looking forward to coming back and trying their other menu items! IG: @ammysalamii
I came in to support a local business rather than going to a big chain coffee shop. It was my first time here and the lady who helped me was really friendly. I told her I wanted a matcha but asked for it dairy free. I ended up getting the strawberry matcha with oat milk, minus the cold foam. It was made rather quickly, it was okay, it's made with strawberry milk so the strawberry taste was very minimal, I do like it a little sweeter though. They do have chai so I might come back to try that next. The only issue is the parking lot is really tiny, I was fortunate enough to snag a spot but it's super compact. Street parking was all taken due to the apartments near by. Also I noticed on here they had gluten free pastries and well they did not, which I was bummed about, was one of the main reasons I came by.
It was my first time trying Jardin but this is definitely one of my new favorite coffee shops in the valley! The service is fast and the food and drinks are great. We got the strawberry matcha and the churro latte, both were amazing! We also got a breakfast burrito with bacon, it came with a side of salsa roja and it was delicious. It tasted homemade in the best way possible. The service was extremely fast, they had our stuff ready in about 5 mind on a Saturday afternoon. I love supporting small business in the area. Esme and Sam were so sweet as well! This place is great, I'll definitely be returning.
Stumbled upon this café by accident, and so glad we did. As soon as you walk in the space is modern and open. The wife owns the café part and the husband owns the restaurant next-door. The girls in the front were very sweet and let us know what was popular. We ordered a Horchata latte and a mazapan latte. Both were extremely delicious with the right amount of sweetness. We also ordered a coffee cake and it was exceptional. We will definitely be returning to try their entire menu.
what a cute little coffee shop in sylmar !! i like the creative drinks they have. the shop is quite small & not much seating - it's very much a grab & go type of coffee shop. there is a small parking lot in the back that they share with the other businesses in the plaza. churro latte - this one ended up being my fav, the cinnamon taste was really good in this but not too sweet! tres leches cold brew - i really had high expectations for this drink because it's two of my favorite things combined, but it was not impressive. the drink was really watered down & i felt like i couldn't even taste the tres leches :( overall i'd love to come back to try their other drinks!

I believe this place is fairly new and has been on my list to check out when I saw videos of them being featured. Although I didn't grab any food, I did try their coffee, their iced latte, which is my go to. Iced latte with whole milk and no sweetener. The color they throw me off as I thought it was gonna be milky, but as I took my first sip, I can't taste the coffee and I was sold. I'm definitely gonna be back to try their other items on their menu + food. This café is located on the corner of Glenoaks and Roxford st. There is parking in the rear. The ambience was calm, there were a few people inside the shop, but I guess because it's a holiday they weren't as busy. Staff was nice
My first time here! I honestly was very hesitant on coming here after reading some recent reviews about the bad customer service lately. I still stopped by to see for myself how good the drinks are here. After all, I have been hearing amazing things about their coffee & matcha! Though my customer service experience was great! It was short since I knew what I wanted before walking in, but there were two younger girls working that day and my personal interaction was nice and quick :) I had brought my notebook to get some work done. I was trying my best to stay concentrated, but the girls working there were gossiping so loud, not worried about people who may be listening. I heard some pretty unhinged things coming from one of the girls, after a couple of minutes it became too much to listen to so I left. On another note I did order the horchata matcha, a popular drink that they have. The drink was so sweet, overpoweringly sweet I couldn't enjoy it. Big kick of cinnamon I couldn't taste the matcha at all. I'd probably come back to try something else, maybe I came at a bad time because I'm having a hard time believing that people actually drink this and enjoy it. Thanks for having me!
Jardín Café is a wonderful place to have meetings or simply catch up with a friend. What truly touched my heart and initially drew me in was seeing that they offer free Bibles to the community. That alone made me want to continue supporting this coffee shop and its mission. I've been coming here consistently ever since I moved to Sylmar, and I have so much respect for this location. Customer service is always lovely -- the staff is kind, patient, and very helpful when it comes to choosing something you'll enjoy. The space is clean, modern, and welcoming. There's something special about an establishment that feels rooted in faith and purpose. When a place is covered in the covenant of Jesus, our Lord and Savior, it truly stands out. Congratulations to the team on creating such a beautiful coffee shop.

This was my first time trying this place. I came in after stopping by Los Ruiseñores and ordered an Iced Horchata Latte, and 3 Vanilla Latte's. The drinks in my opinion were just okay. Iced Horchata Latte was a bit too sweet for my taste. While my parent's coffee (Vanilla Latte) was pretty good but they also said it was sweet. Service was overall fast and the menu clear and easy to read; I'm just not sure if I'd come back. Coffee lacked that espresso taste in a latte and it was too sweet for my tasting. read more
Simple, small, but good. I got their café de olla; I won't lie, it was not the greatest. It was weak and did not pick me up. I had to order an additional shot of espresso to add to it in order to feel a boost. The drink may have been too sweet, but the espresso evened it out. The drink costs 5 bucks, and adding a shot costs 3, so I spent 8 dollars on a drink here just to fix it. However, that was a small hiccup; the coffee shop was nice and small and very cozy. Felt family-friendly, it is next to the restaurant, which is owned by the same owner. They have little games on their counter you can play while you wait, which is what my kids did. Kept them entertained while they waited for my coffee and my shot. The staff was very friendly and nice, and there are a lot of inspirational quotes all over the waiting area. Parking here does suck, but there's plenty of street parking if needed. I probably would not go out of my way to come to this location, but if I'm close by at the local parks, then I would come here and try some specialty drinks. It seems like they got plenty. Overall a great place, small drink hiccup, but I can always stick to my usual americanos. read more

Nice to have a good coffee place in this area. I'm here a lot and sometimes I just want a coffee place where I can meet and catch up with a friend. This place was just that. The place is attached to a restaurant but you can order and sit anywhere. The menus is pretty small and straightforward. They have a few classic coffee drinks and some matcha drinks as well. They do have specialty drinks like a churro latte, tres leches cold brew, cafe de olla, and even fresas with crema matcha. The menu also has a few food options. I saw some games on the tables (Jenga/Connect 4). They have a cute wall with photos of pets that have visited the cafe. It's Sylmar so of course there was a goat and horse on the board. Everything was nice, clean, spacious, the people working there were also really friendly and inviting. I really enjoyed this place and will keep coming back. For today, we opted for an iced latte and a matcha horchata. -Iced Latte: was good. It was the perfect blend of espresso and milk. Coffee was smooth, no burnt taste. -Iced Matcha Horchata: also really good. We got it with almond milk. It wasn't as sweet as I was expecting it to be, which I enjoyed. A good blend of matcha and horchata as well, I got hints of both flavor profiles throughout the entire drink. Overall, a good local coffee place. Street parking can be a bit of hassle. read more

Came here for a coffee and breakfast run. The drinks are where this place shines, my husband loved his Mazapan Latte. My Salted Maple Matcha was okay, but I couldn't detect the salted maple flavor (note: I asked for less sugar, so that might be why). The big downside was the breakfast burrito. It was good, but incredibly small for $16. It felt more like a snack than a meal. Great for a unique coffee experience, but skip the overpriced food. read more

Always love coming here when I'm in town! Super attentive and very friendly....Honorable mention to their drinks! The Horchata Latte with Mazapan CF is my top favorite (pictured below). Luis recommended the Abuelita Latte with Horchata CF and its soo yummy! Definitely will try different ones every time I come. read more

I love Jardin! The strawberry foam matcha is my go-to and I'm always begging my sister to join me! If you like strawberry nesquik, this is the drink for you! Very refreshing and the perfect pick-me-up! Their pastries are really good as well. Such a cozy and cute place, I love that it's close to home! Everyone is very nice and friendly too! read more

Found this spot a couple weeks back and stopped by to check it out and grab some drinks and sweets. Cute interior with a bar of a few chairs. We ordered the chai latte, camp fire mocha, a breakfast burrito and originally I ordered a cookie but they were out so I got the passion fruit danish. Service was great, quickly made. Drinks were good, food was great- danish didn't really taste like passion fruit but still yummy and breakfast burrito was fresh and delicious. They also had another part of the store with more food options- breakfast, tacos, plates, menudo, pozole, and agua frescas. We ordered a bowl of pozole for dinner - took about 20 mins to get and they weren't very busy. Sadly pozole was filled with bones. Cafe portion was good, restaurant portion was so so. read more

Came here on an early morning with my boyfriend before heading out on a roadtrip! We found this little spot randomly while looking up coffee shops on Google maps. The coffee shop was clean and had a cute vibe to it. My boyfriend ordered an iced chai latte which he said tasted "okay"-- nothing special about it. I loved my Americano though! Had a great strong flavor and didn't taste watered down. My boyfriend was quite disappointed with the breakfast burrito. After taking a few bites he said it tasted like plain tortilla!! I took the burrito from him to see and yeah, there was barely any filling. From the photo you can see how hallow it is. We weren't upset about it, we didn't expect much from this cafe as we just needed a quick coffee. read more
Went here before heading back to the bay area. I like trying small business owned businesses, especially coffee shops. Parking is a bit hard to find, but we found one in front if the shop in less than ten min. I went around 10am and it was not busy. We were in and out within ten minutes. The staff was friendly and outgoing, which made my morning even better. I liked that they had on the door that they were out of matcha. There are some coffee shops that wait till you are in line and then let you know that they are out of something. The mazapan coffee 1st tasted like burned coffee, but after awhile it had some great mazapan flavor. The churro latte surprised me because I did not expect it to taste so much like a churro. Some places say it's a churro latte and it just has some cinnamon, but here it felt like I was eating an actual churro. I will definitely be back when I am in town. read more

I go to cafe's for the experience and to do work. It was my first time here and first time trying a cold brew with sweet cream. I did not take a picture. I also ordered a breakfast sandwich, no pic either. The service was great and kind. The place is very open and had lots of windows. It is part of the restaurant and it's has the cafe side. The cafe side had a bar seating, no outlets that I saw off. The restaurant had table seating, outlets I'm not sure. It was a great place to do my work. WiFi was stable. WiFi is ps is written on the register. While doing work, a wall of dog Polaroid was in front of me. I loved it! I loved this post it wall! read more

Came in because I was in the area visiting family. Wanted a coffee and found this local shop. I really wanted to like this place because the aesthetic is cute and they seem about the community but the quality was not there for a $7 drink. I ordered the Fresas con crema Matcha. It was poorly made or bad drink concept. The Matcha flavor was off and there was no evidence of even strawberry or even artificial strawberry. No strawberry taste at all in the drink. I would stick to the coffee. My partner ordered a cold brew and he likes it which is why they got two stars. read more

10000/10! I ordered the Horchata matcha and it was so creamy and had the perfect amount of sweetness! I also ordered the chicken pesto sandwich was also phenomenal. Can't wait to come back to try out other drinks & food off the menu! read more

I love that they share a space with a food establishment! I used to work at places like that so it gives me good feels. The moment you walk in you're greeted by the most welcoming staff. They were super friendly and helped me choose their most popular AND personal favorite drinks since I originally wanted the matcha horchata but they were out of matcha. I loveeed the cafe de olla with horchata cold foam which is what the cashier recommended, I might add an extra shot of espresso next time cuz as an adult I prefer my drinks strong over sweet. The vanilla latte with oat milk was ok, I wish it was a little bit stronger. And the tres leches cold brew was a little watered down for my taste BUT it was refreshing. It reminded me of a Vietnamese iced coffee just not as strong. Overall I recommend you trying this place for yourself!! It's definitely worth a try! -Leonardoughs read more
