I stopped by this Starbucks originally to just ask for a plastic spoon so I could feed my daughter her baby food but the staff were so nice to me that I came back a couple of minutes later to get my wife a drink. We were dining at a place nextdoor and they only had a big spoon for soup, which didn't fit into our jar of baby food and my daughter also couldn't eat from it. The parking where this Starbucks is at is limited so most people use the drive thru. The inside of this Starbucks is spacious and looks nice. The staff here are wonderful and are trying to make everyone order quick. I ordered my wife a venti iced chai latte with four pumps of chai and asked for light ice. They made her drink quick and she like her drink. This Starbucks location has a outdoor seating area as well. read more

Don't come to this trash Starbucks. I came in at 8:00pm and ordered 3 things a double berry match, cheese danish, and a bacon gouda sandwich just for these slow ass girls to take 50 minutes to give me my order, and on top ended up getting my order wrong like dumbasses, they gave me a lavender matcha instead and some sandwich with no bacon. So we're really throwing out customer service out the window! Mind you, I was very patient because the girls were running around getting orders out, which is fine. There was a particular employee there just slacking off while the other worked, before I was acknowledged, she already looked so bothered, I get it we all have bad days. Got my order, asked me to repeat it, which I did, cool!...then payed. I kindly asked for the code for the restroom got looked at and got ignored, so I asked one of the customer for the code as she was walking out. No worries. As my order starts coming out, its wrong, and missing 1 drink, had to remind them. Look, I still apologized for bringing it to their attention. Cuz I get it, we all make mistakes. But C'mon, really?! All the rest of the girls were kind enough to apologize but that one employee definitely does not know the meaning of teamwork. Every time I give this Starbucks a chance I'm disappointed. Today from all days the whole team should've brought there A game to it. It's the Red cup day. Management was not helpful at all. One of the leads was focusing on sample drinks instead of helping coordinate a flow for the mobile and cafe orders . The whole team was lost. Orders were duplicated because they couldn't take the time to check the drinks made already. I had to point it out to them that it was made. Like hello I should not be telling you how to do your job properly. I asked for my drink and of course the label had not been printed out yet and one of the employees said the batista probably spelled my name wrong. That wasn't even an option I paid with the Starbucks app. I waited 30 min for a flat white and to top it off. One of the regulars had there drink made wrong not just me. That shows you how disorganized it was.They didn't even serve my drink in the red cup. I had to ask for it on my way out. If your corporate please look into the hiring and management team. Thanks and very big shout out to a fantastic employee with exemplary customer service skills named Angel, at your Sylmar location on Foothill Blvd and Hubbard on Sunday January 4th. We had been on the road for many hours driving and needed something refreshing but caffeinated. Angel helped narrow down our choices by describing a few ideas in detail. I wound up getting a terrific beverage with two blond shots. It wasn't too sweet and very coffee tasting and not too sweet--perfect and something I hadn't tried before. He was so upbeat and treated us with kindness and respect. We wound up getting more than we had come in for due to his suggestive selling skills. He was just joyful and we're not sure what picked us up more -his genuinely friendly personality it the coffee drink. Thanks angel. This USED to be my go to coffee spot. But since the pandemic it seems that all the staff at this location has forgotten quality control. Several times I have received coffee that was poorly made. This ranged from not enough creamer or old/ burned tasting coffee. And all I get is a cold brew. While the staff seem to be busy, it is obvious that they are prioritizing the drive thru orders. Many times I have stood over five minutes before anyone will over to help me in any capacity. And I have noticed others who experienced the same waiting with me. Doors are closed after 9:30pm. They send you straight to the drive thru line REGARDLESS after ordering online. Had the worst service here. I ordered online for my lunch break and they accepted it for 2 sandwiches. I go in the time it's expected and it's not ready, o well no big deal. the associate comes up to me and offers something else cause they ran out of this particular item. I accept the two ham n cheese croissant and I wait another 5 minutes and they haven't even started. mind you the rush came and went and I'm stuck standing waiting. My break is now over and another associate asks about my order only to see them check in with the associate making the sandwiches and they START making my order. They need to work on their communication here or train their associates to handle a rush because it seems everyone here was incompetent in handling more than one thing at a time.
