I used to be a diehard Coffee Bean fan as Starbucks powders made me sick. They also used to have delicious baked goods. They switched vendors, are no longer kosher and seem to be much more large production and full or preservatives. I went there on a VERY busy day so I give the staff grace for that. However it took over 35 min to get our drinks after ordering. To me that's way too long. I also saw these disgusting examples of their food in their cooler case that was broken. Why would you buy something where this is the example? Seems like the place is breaking down and could use a bit of refurbishment. The drinks are good and I love their winter dream tea lattes. The place has a few tables and chairs if you want to sit and have coffee but it was impossible to do that day as it was packed! They have a nice outdoor place to sit and plenty of parking. read more

I love that this location is close to me! They all know me here and I'm very surprised I have not done a review! Coffee Bean is the best in my opinion! I 98 percent of the time I do mobile order for convenience, but all workers here are good I miss Corey the old GM but Andrew is really cool too and the rest of the crew! It gets really busy on the weekends and may have a wait. However, this location is always clean. The parking is not bad and I like they have 10 minute parking right in front! It been awhile since I came to this Coffee Bean. I only come here for my wife and this is why I came back. We actually had our first date here so we have memories here as well. She wanted her iced blended mocha with whipped cream. When I came, I parked in their 15 minutes parking spot. When I walked inside of the place, they didn't have anyone in line so I was able to put in my wife order. I also decided to ask for ice water and thought it would be free like other coffee places. But it wasn't, they charged a small fee for water with ice for whatever reason. I was surprise they charged for something that suppose to be free like other places or as long as you get something else then iced water would be complimentary. First time here and its a nice and clean spot. Outside there is a large parking area. Eli helped us and took our order. Eli was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the dark chocolate ice blended. I did ask about nuts for our order and Eli wasted no time to check in the back for the packaging ingredients. He even brought the bag to show me the ingredients. Been a minute but felt the need to give a shoutout to the barista, Andrew, who helped make my drink perfect this morning. Placed a mobile order and forgot to add the extra shot, I was so focused on making sure the deal they had was applied to my order lol. Today only, they have Large sized drinks for the price of a regular size. :) I went in to pick up my drink, took a sip, and it was super sweet and felt like a Creme Frapp rather than a coffee Frapp. I went back in and Andrew immediately made eye contact and asked if I needed anything. I asked for an extra shot if it wasn't too late and he happily made one for me, put it on top of my drink, and it was perfect. Absolutely happy with the experience especially with how long the line was and how busy all of the baristas were! It was one of those chaotic mornings, maybe because school is back in. Love coffee bean. Good drinks and this place is clean. But for some reason they seem to take a lot longer with the orders during the weekends. I noticed that they do not put the order stickers on the cups as they make the drinks. The stickers are on the counter. They make the drinks and the drinks are placed on the counter and later someone else puts the sticker on the cups. What if they place the sticker on a different drink since some drinks look the same. I think that the drinks process needs to be fixed in order to get the drinks out faster and flow better. read more

So I have been coming here ever since the closed the Starbucks in my neighborhood and so I have been ordering online , I have been getting the vanilla latte and the vanilla dry ice americano so I decided to walk in and order the same vanilla dry ice americano and first the employee handing me the drink and It was wrong which it's not a big deal what I thought was wrong is that he proceeded to tell me I didn't say vanilla which was a lie i told him exactly what I order and it was vanilla dry ice americano . The place was busy - people are in and out for mostly mobile orders. I saw one or 2 tables inside that are free. They do have few tables outside that aren't occupied as well. I'm don't usually come to this coffee shop so I asked the employee for a recommendation. He recommended the Cookies and Cream and the Vanilla too. I chose the Cookies and Cream with whipped cream. At first sip, it is delicious. You can taste the cookies. I will order for sure in the future. They have selections of sandwiches and pastries. You have the choice to warm it up or not. Coffee bean is my favorite coffee spot, you can get a variety of food as well as drinks. Pro tip: Use the app and order in advance so you don't have to wait, you will also earn free drinks as well. There is plenty of seating inside or outside to hang out or get work done or whatever. Nice and clean, not overcrowded. They also participate in "Too good to go" which is a service where you can buy items at a discount at the end of the day. It is a great way to save food waste as well as save you a lot of money. These kids working here need to go through hospitality and customer service training. Excited to pick myself up a sweet coffee treat only to leave annoyed and frustrated by these fools on Saturday May 17th at 1pm. Corporate, please retrain these people who are representing your brand. This location can get busy! However, I am fortunate that I have always encountered a pleasant employee. We can all acknowledge how expensive everything is these days, so it really puts a person at ease when the $6 beverage they paid for was made with perfectly and service with a smile! I was in there last Saturday morning, and the young lady at the register was so sweet! She was busy at the register with a line out the door and still managed to grab pastries from the case and toaster oven! She deserves a raise! Do I love Coffee Bean? Generally, yes. Do I love the Northridge location? ...MEH. Here's the thing: customer service has improved, and the manager I see most often, Kevin, is a gracious host! He introduces himself to the regulars, makes everyone feel included, and seems like a nice guy. And the drinks they make are good, if not always consistent. My problem goes back to the same thing that was problematic 4 years ago - the app will not allow you to add on almond milk to an iced Americano, so you have to add the request in the comment field of the order. Nine times out of 10, it's fine. But depending on who's working, the staff will withhold your drink, as if you were trying to cheat the store out of $.80... Which is ridiculous. In today's episode of "I promise I'm not a liar, your app does NOT allow me to add on milk to an iced drink," I went so far as to show the baristas at the pickup counter on my phone. One of them saw I was right immediately and backed me up. The other begrudgingly accepted our testimony and said she would "tell them." ...Who is 'them?' Corporate? The web developer/app designers?? Kevin??? IDK. But the assumption that I, as a regular customer, am trying to pull a fast one on a big coffee chain is honestly insulting and I wish they would stop this. read more

Great vibe and comfy atmosphere. The CBTL is located in a somewhat large outdoor shopping center. I visited on a Saturday evening at about 8:30 pm. This is probably one of the best times to come. Parking in the big lot was easy as most of the other businesses were closed. There was still a small crowd here but everyone was spaced out well both indoor and outside. We sat outside. I was surprised how relaxing it was. The shared space had a cute dining area and a firepit. Live music from the restaurant next door also added to the fun ambiance. Customer service was outstanding. Nessa was extremely helpful, understanding, and personable. Can't thank her enough. As far as the prepared drinks go, I can't rate that as I only got a bottled drink.
