White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cold Brew

Tried this place out and it's a nice spot for coffee and gave me a similar vibe to Dutch Bros, which I liked! The staff were nice and they got our drinks out fairly fast. It can get pretty busy, so we waited in line for a bit, but the service was quick. I got the white chocolate macadamia cold brew, which was very sweet and creamy. They also have alternate milk options and I got oat milk for my drink!

My go-to drink here is the lavender matcha, and it never disappoints. The balance between the floral lavender and earthy matcha is spot on, just sweet enough without being overpowering. The baristas are always friendly and consistent, so my drink comes out the same every time, which I really appreciate. The café itself has a cozy, relaxed vibe that makes it a nice spot to hang out or get a little work done. Overall, Makenna Koffee has become one of my favorite places for a reliable, delicious lavender matcha and a welcoming atmosphere.

Love this place. Soo good if you like sweet coffee. The place is super cute inside and the service was nice as well. Only issue was the bathroom was gross lol.

My first time trying Makenna Coffee in SCV. I got the Shaken brown sugar Maui and it was good. The dairy base tasted like melted vanilla ice cream and their coffee is strong and just blends in so well with the milk. It sounds really sweet but it's not as sweet as I expected it to be. I like my coffee not as sweet (just my preference) so this was great! Fast service even though the place is quite busy. They had seating inside and even outside. If it weren't too windy today it would have been a perfect day out to read a book out there on their outside seats. They have a lot on their menu, including other coffees, red bull drinks, smoothies, and other blended drinks -- quite a menu they have but a lot of options for caffeine and non-caffeine drinkers.

    Bagel

I ordered a jalapeño cheddar bagel to go and there was no cream cheese in the bagel or a side of cream cheese for me to put on the bagel. Do they expect me to eat my bagel bun dry? Usually bagels come with cream cheese.

This is a really cute coffee shop that I pass by regularly and decided to stop and give it a try! I was met with friendly baristas who welcomed me and were patient as I looked at the super large menu of lattes. There was so much to choose from it was a bit overwhelming but I chose an iced horchata latte half sweet. My drink didn't take long to make and it was good. It was still pretty sweet so it was more like a dessert and I'm afraid to know how sweet it would've been if I didn't order it half sweet. It was still yummy and I split it with my boyfriend.

Been here many times at all times of the day. Weekends in the morning are busiest but there are several options to order if you need like calling in or using Local by Toast. The app is suuuper easy and has all the customizations to choose from. And you earn rewards points. I love the Maui Vanilla Latte with Maui milk. So smooth creamy and delicious. People saying there are lines and the wait it too long must really be annoyed Starbucks or In n Out or Chic Fil A and many other fast foods places. The staff working there are hustling and clearly it's a popular place when there are lines. In the end I don't see it being much of a wait at all. Plus the app is great for ordering ahead. I like the coffee and drink choices and love the vibe at Makenna Koffee. I will continue to support this small business.

I checked out Makenna Koffee before my Hawaii trip and had to come back after, it totally gave me those island vibes I was already missing. The Maui Latte was a bit too sweet for me, so next time I'll ask for it less sweet. But their iced latte? So good. Super smooth and refreshing. Such a chill spot with a fun, tropical feel. Definitely a go-to when in the area. Plenty of parking

was craving a good refreshing drink so I stopped by Makenna Koffee for a Iced Oat Matcha and Cinnamon Coffee Cake. When you walk in they have good music playing and bring up your mood. They have a large variety of drinks, pastries and a few sandwiches. It is super busy and have plenty of friendly staff to make sure everybody is taken care of. I did not catch my cashiers name but omg super friendly and sweet. i highly recommend this location.

Stopped at two McKenna coffee locations this weekend. My boyfriend and I were traveling up north. We found this place because it was halfway en route to our first stop. I had the North Shore twice this weekend just because it was so delicious white chocolate, chocolate, and macadamia! My boyfriend had the lucky charms and really loved it since he is a cereal guy! The service was good all the girls working or super friendly and the chill vibes match the Aloha theme definitely recommend a Ventura location if you're traveling to Santa Barbara from LA it's an amazing pitstop!

I've been here twice in the last few weeks during the weekends. Each time it is complete chaos. The store is too small to accommodate the number of customers, there are only a few tables so it would be difficult to find seating if you planned to sit down to drink your coffee and eat. The line is usually super long and there's no designated area to wait for your order. The staff haphazardly calls out your name as the drinks are ready, and many people crowd the area near the register as this is where orders that are ready are placed. I had to sift through many people to get to the front to get my drink, and we had to do this multiple times because our drinks were called as they were ready. This place really needs some organization with their ordering system, and they need a space for picking up orders. I really think their store is too small. I didn't try any of the food here, but they do offer breakfast sandwiches and some baked goods. Their drink menu is huge and actually a bit overwhelming. I had one of their specials, it was good but definitely very sweet and sugary. I wouldn't put this shop very high in my list for coffee shops in the SCV.

My bf and I have been to the Simi Valley location which we really enjoyed! I forgot this location existed so after my mom's physical therapy appointment, we decided to stop by for a little treat. Parking lot is a bit small but otherwise big if you don't mind walking. It's connected to a church I believe and some other shops nearby. Walked in, there was a line and busy. It was loud and everyone there seemed to be on their laptop. I ordered The Nutty Irishman which I've had before and it was phenomenal as always, and my mom ordered a mixed berry smoothie that she really enjoyed. The drinks came out so quick, we were in and out of there in minutes before the line picked up. Great spot and looking forward to coming back! IG: @ammysalamii

Lovely spot for drinks and dinner in Santa Clarita…read more I was in the area running errands and decided to grab dinner nearby on a Thusday evening around 6:30 pm. I found this place on Yelp and dropped by for dinner. My party of 2 was seated immediately. Personally I thought the menus were hard to read. The gray lines in the background were quite dark and clashed with the actual menu items. My suggestion to the restaurant would be to reprint the menus with lighter background. They have an extensive cocktail menu with a lot of gin-based drinks. They also have good selection of wine and NA drinks as well, including some mocktails. I got the I'm Driving mocktail ($13), which I really liked. It had good passion fruit flavor without being too sour. Felt like a really nice tropical juice. My friend really liked his drink Bramblin' Man ($17), which had strong notes of bourbon and blackberry. I wasn't super hungry, but the braised short rib looked amazing so I got that for $43. It was very tender, but I personally found it bland especially on the inside. I asked for additional sauce so I could drench each bite in the sauce. My favorite part of the plate was surprisingly the potato croquette, which was perfectly crispy and well flavored. My friend got the chicken club ($23), which he enjoyed. I stole a bunch of his seasoned fries since they were so good. I would've loved to get dessert but was too stuffed. Next time!

I absolutely love breakfast burritos and felt this is a place where I could get a good one. I was wrong. The menu said the burrito contained bacon, sausage, egg and hash brown potatoes. Also, the burrito arrived blazing hot so I assume it was also microwaved. It was served with a small bowl of salsa. I was with a fairly large group and it had taken awhile to get our orders taken and food delivered. To send back my food and order something new would have had me receiving my new order as the rest of my group were getting ready to leave, so I ate about half my burrito and kept my mouth shut.
