We arrived around 4:50am and there was one other person being helped. Even though there was only one employee, the wait wasn't long at all. My partner asked if they had croissants, and the employee said yes it's in the back. However, if he wanted bacon it would be. 10 min wait to cook the bacon. We opted for the ham and cheese croissant since those were already ready. In addition to the croissant sandwich, we ordered a variety of a dozen donuts such as maple bars, custard donuts, cake donuts, a twisted donut. Everything here was so fresh. For starters, the croissant was soft, buttery, and cheesy. Likewise, the donuts were equally as soft, and the glaze was perfectly sweet without being overly sweet. I didn't eat the cake donuts until about noon and I was shocked with how moist the cake donut was. Usually cake donuts are dry, but these definitely were not! Overall, everything we bought from here was absolutely delicious. The customer service was very polite and friendly. I saw a recent review somebody saying they don't open until 11 - maybe they reviewed the wrong place - I stopped by yesterday for some treats and they were open - hours start at the crack of dawn That being said the owners deserve time off and because it's a small business - sometimes hours might change and they might be closed. - call and check! If there is something you really want - call ahead. The nature of the business is to sell everything. The owner was very kind and suggested calling ahead to place an order on hold since the scones can sell out quickly. When we did get them, we ordered a dozen blueberry scones, and they even added donut holes to the box, a really thoughtful touch. The scones are excellent: warm, slightly sweet, with the perfect crunch on the outside and juicy, fresh blueberries inside. I'm in the San Gabriel Valley, and these are absolutely worth the drive (minus 1 star for the long drive). The muffins were a bit too sweet for my taste, so I'd skip those and stick with the scones. Sadly, I think it's time for this review. Let me start by saying the donuts are fantastic! However this is now at least the third time trying to stop here for donuts and they are closed. My husband stopped on his way to work at 9am to find they have new hours posted, 11am-8pm? Seems very odd hours for a donut shop when people would be going for breakfast/ before work. Also hours are not updated anywhere online! We also tried to stop by here a few months back around 12pm and they were closed. Another time was over the holidays we stopped by, and come to find out they shut down for a week. The donuts themselves are great, but the inconsistency in hours is not worth the frustration. read more

WoW..... Just an amazing "Mom" & "Pop" Donut/Bakery shop situated in the heart of Stevenson Ranch since April 2000. My brother (Ben W.) just lives around the corner from this shop and will bring me over a pink box filled with treats and its very fresh and delicious. Owners (Tom & Jamie) are the best as this is a family oriented business with great friendly staff. Many locals frequent here for there morning binge for great tasting Coffee and Bake Goods. Both Tom & Jamie are very dedicated and hard working as they serve their local town as it requires them to start shop at 3:00 AM to prep and serve the community at the crack of dawn. They have a good selection to choose from for purchase but most of the time some stuff will be Sold Out early. So if you have your favorites, don't hesitate to call to place an order once the shop opens or better yet, the day before. Definitely give this place a try so whenever you're nearby or just passing through the I-5, just exit off "McBean Pkwy" and they are just situated about a mile away. I picked out half a dozen doughnuts and the last two muffins (other muffins and scones had gone) on a Sunday morning today around 11, just an hour before closing. It's my first time here and I shared this with the woman behind the counter. I was given an extra cinnamon bun type of pastry and a few doughnut holes. I was charged $18 by the lady behind the counter. I was overcharged but didn't want to dispute it and cause a fuss over some doughnuts at a locally owned small business. I was asked whether I want a receipt and I did decline. But maybe just be on your guard and careful when you visit here. Plus I just brought the doughnuts home and had my mother take a bite of the Boston Crème-style one. She said it's soft but strangely bitter. Standard fare donut shop, so what can you say... well they still stand out above the typical mom/pop type places you see imo. They our preferred go to donut shop in the area. Nothing too "flashy" but they have plenty of options, but not TOO many... like some places that just offer too many options. IMO sometimes that detracts and prevents places from excelling in areas since they are trying to offer too much. The place is always very presentable, clean and tidy looking which I appreciate cause it shows they care about the details. The owners are great! Always so friendly and courteous. They go out of their way to provide great customer service. I always appreciate that even when I order a half dozen donuts I always find they added some glazed donut holes (which I can't get enough of). They close early like most of your donut shops like this, so if you're worried about them running out of items (which they sometimes do), try and drop by early. The donuts and pastries always taste great and fresh... and they are on the large side so that offers a nice value imo. The ham/cheese croissants (my wife and my favorite) are amazing and often sell out. My kids especially love the "Boston Cream" and buttermilk. Highly recommend them! read more
