This location is in a shared plaza and has lots of free parking. The location is small with no places to sit so you would be ordering and heading out. They weren't busy when we arrived so we were able to ask questions. For gluten free - they had cupcakes or macaroons. I wasn't a fan of the larger macaroon, it was a little dry. The gluten free cupcakes were also dry. The frosting was dense. The vanilla cupcake with the sprinkles was more enjoyable than the chocolate cupcake. read more

I went in asking about cupcakes and felt the service could have been better. I was interested in buying a few dozen and asked if they sold them by the dozen. The lady behind the counter quickly said "no," even though I had seen something on their website about a dozen for $35. When I pulled it up and showed her, she responded with "ohhh, those are mini cupcakes," and showed me the liners--which were indeed very mini. I also asked if the cake pops were sold by the dozen, and again was told "no," without any apology or offer to check for alternatives. Best was the triple chocolate. 4-5 brownies- these were ok. Blueberry crumble- meh it was alright. Cupcake- the frosting threw me off. Kind of expecting it to be more soft based frosting. Was pretty hard didn't care for the flavor and it was just a vanilla one. Price is steep for the outcome of taste. But ehhh at least I was able to try them out so I know what to expect in the future. I happened here as I was picking up some food at the Subway next door. I always love me some good cupcakes and cookies. I got a half dozen cupcakes - prices are about what I pay at Magnolia and a little higher than my tried and true Camarillo Cupcakes (though Camarillo Cupcakes doesn't charge more for gluten free and vegan selections). The good: nice variety, lots of sweets like caramel apples, brownies, cookies and rice crispy treats. Even hand scooped ice cream. Cupcakes were generally well received by the family and they were much more moist than expected. The bad: the fresh strawberries and cream cupcake I ate was gross. The jam filling was bitter and not sweet at all. And the icing was also not very sweet so it just felt like eating grease. I ended up scraping a good part of it off my cupcake. Disappointed. Maybe I got a bad batch? No one else bitched about their cupcakes so I must've picked poorly. I'll prob give them another try later but for now I'll stick with my tried and true. read more

My review and actual issue is with the actual platter, which I initially deemed the best part of the gift. While washing the platter I noticed, printed on the back, "FOR DECORATIVE USE ONLY. NOT SUITABLE FOR SERVING FOOD. MADE IN CHINA" What food service company serves food on platters clearly marked as not suitable for FOOD?!
