Good Thai tea with boba at my recent visit although service could've been better. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt since we came in an hour before closing, but still. We greeted the employee twice and he didn't say anything... even asked how he's doing. Drink came out in less than 5 min. The visit was as short as his customer service. You order on a kiosk anyway so not much good human interaction this time
Cute boba shop in RB! I was greeted by a friendly young woman upon entry and she was ready to take my order. I wasn't real so I told her that I'll just use the touchscreen console to place my order instead. She was very patient and made my drink as soon as it was placed. My wintermelon green tea drink with boba was good! Made with 25% sugar and it was perfect. No complaints here!
Very cute and aesthetic spot!!! The lychee yogurt was delicious and had a smoothee consistency which we were not expecting. The brown sugar milk tea was also great!! While the drinks were delicious, we did find the drinks a bit overpriced for how small they are ($7.70 for such a small cup)
Overall I'd say this is a 3.5 star experience. It's a casual boba store within a shopping complex in Rancho Bernardo. They have the typical drink items you see at a boba store. You can customize how much ice and sugar you want. The parking lot is big but the spots are tiny and narrow so beware during busy lunch and dinner hours. They have a kiosk to purchase your drinks which was easy and simple to use. Our drinks came out pretty quickly. I'd say this boba store would satisfy your boba cravings. It's a pretty standard boba store. The one negative though was the matcha in my drink was very subtle. My drink tasted more like regular milk.
Nothing stands out about this store. The boba was cooked unevenly so some bits were hard while others were soft. The store seemed well kept and you can order at a kiosk which is nice. The kiosk shows no prices until after I finished the order for whatever reason. Wouldn't really go out of my way to come back.
First time at Daboba they have a large menu with lots of options. I usually don't like overly sweet drinks and I didn't know what to get so I asked the cashier what's his go to is. He said the super fruit tea was good, it had just the right amount of sweet in it and was packed with fresh fruit flavors. My wifey got the milk tea which she liked as well. I liked what tried and definitely want to come back to try different drinks.
LETS CHILL WITH DA BOBA (4.75 stars) DaBoba is one of the better and one of the favorite boba shops in San Diego county. This is their second location and a less busy one! :: YOGURT SERIES :: Per usual, went with the Strawberry Yogurt. Added a little bit of brown sugar boba and a little bit of the mix jellies (coconut and mango). Ok, I should have just stuck with the brown sugar boba... the mix jellies gave it more fun shaped texture but the taste of the coconut was too much for this mix and it drowned out the strawberry flavor. :: SERVICE :: Very friendly! No line or crowded space (basically empty) which makes it easier to get good quality service. My drink was prepared immediately after order. Until the next review...
Tried Daboba's best roasted brown sugar pearl Mike tea. I saw more than 500k cups sold for this series. Drink was good when took first few sips but in the last I started feeling the flavor off burning of sugar which was not good. Place is nice to sit down with friends lot of space to sit and chat as well as parking area, very close to freeway
Quiet, peaceful boba place. There are a few tables and chairs. I don't see people hanging out in the shop itself, so most people probably buy the drinks to go. I got the Vietnamese coffee and it's not bad. For all drinks, you can adjust the sweetness.
Yes, I'm reviewing a 3rd boba shop in a row, okayyyyy?!?! LOL Daboba reminds me of The Alley. Great drinks and average pricing. I've only been to this location in RB once, and it was super busy. I went on a weekend shortly after their grand opening, and I knew better, but since it's right off the 15 freeway, I didn't mind it. Obviously, I had to wait a while for my drink since they were so busy, but it tasted good. Employees are friendly and patient. The place is clean and bright inside. Aesthetics are on point! I would go again for sure when passing through the area if I'm craving boba. Highly recommend!
Very nice quiet location by the freeway if u want to stop by real quick for some boba. Big parking lot outside. Lots of seating inside if you want to study. Very clean and aesthetic decorations. Service was very fast and staff was nice. I usually get a milk tea or matcha but I have yet to try any fruit drinks! The crème brûlée drinks are pretty good too. My friend tried the purple rice yogurt drink & it was kinda weird. Also take into consideration they do not accept cash.
The boba was very chewy and it had a very nice texture when eaten. We ordered at the kiosk so the drinks came out super fast.
Clean and conveniently located boba shop right off the 15 freeway. Dropped in since I was in the area and was in and out rather quickly. The shop is cutely decorated with a clean aesthetic. Minus 1 star because you need to place your order through the touchscreen even though the worker was watching me struggle with it since it does not have error messages when you try to submit the order and an option was not selected. Instead she should have offered and just placed the order with her. The drink was good. I ordered a large match green tea with boba. Good earthy matcha taste, not overly sweet and the boba was perfectly chewy. Will have to be back to try the mango drinks since that is what I originally wanted, but they were out of mangos. read more

Surprising to get a decent boba place nearby home. Roast milk tea is good, I also am sucker for fruit tea and this place is decent but man was so disappointed how much fruit they stuffed into the cup which basically meant there was so little tea/drink to consume. So I never got the fruit tea after the first time if that's how they make the drink. I just stick to the milk tea boba. Need to order 70% sweet or less because it'll be too sweet otherwise. read more

So I am not a huge boba fan....I know I know....it's not always about me....well just on days that end in "Y." Or at least that's what I tell myself! Ha! My daughter LOVES boba so we figured we would give this place a try. We came here in a weekday afternoon. The inside was nice and clean. Staff were helpful in the selections and suggesting their favorites. My daughter ordered the brown sugar pearl choco. She said it was delicious, 11/10. I ordered the shooting star series. I don't remember the exact flavor or what type of jellies were in the bottom but....it....was....sooooo.....good!!! We will definitely be returning!!! read more
They will have to get it together for me to come back and update my review. Absolutely look at the sticker labels to double check your order when you get it, because they gave a SWEETENED drink to a person with DIABETES when they specifically asked not to. We only ordered 2 drinks: Both Large Wintermelon Green Tea ($5.95). One with 0% sugar because they need to watch their sugar levels, and Grass Jelly. The other with 50% sugar with the toppings as they come (with boba and coconut jelly). They switched the toppings with the drinks, and since we got different toppings, we just looked at the toppings and thought we had our respective drinks. So basically they made the 0% sweet drink with boba and coconut jelly, and the 50% sweet drink with grass jelly. I drank mine (the one that was supposed to be half sweet and standard toppings) immediately, while the other didn't drink theirs until later that night. While I was drinking mine, I thought that it was a bit bitter but thought that their half sweet was just a totally different scale from other places. It wasn't until later that night when the other tasted their drink and realized that they got the wrong drink with the right topping. And even though I had already finished my drink, they couldn't have the boba in it anyway so they were left not being able to drink either of the drinks. This wasn't the first time they had this experience at this location. They said that the last time they came here they also switched the toppings of the drinks, and they also CONTAMINATED the drinks with each other. She had ordered the Wintermelon Green Tea the first time as well and they had dropped in bits of passion fruit seeds from the other drink in their order. So much yikes with this place. I'm going to be avoiding this location for a while until they get it together and train their workers better to pay better attention to each drink and make sure there's no cross contamination going on. read more

My husband and I have wanted to come here since we saw an advertisement on Yelp. Today we had our minds set on going, and so we did. We arrived around 3 PM and ordered 2 drinks to start as we weren't sure if our children would like them. We later ordered another as the drinks were delicious. My husband ordered the Brown Sugar, and my children had the strawberry and mango. All drinks were extremely well made, tasty, and worth going out of our way for. Two slight drawbacks. My husband and daughter's drink took 10 minutes to be completed, and the cashier tried to charge me $.25 for water. That is until the manager swept in and said it wasn't $.25. The cashier seemed confused when the manager said that, which led me to believe the manager may have made an exception for me. Either way, I was able to get some water free of charge. The facility is beautiful with pentiful seating, and is extremely clean. It's only been open for about 4 months, but they've maintained it well. I recommend going if you're in the area. read more

Staff are friendly. Store is clean. Boba is not thoroughly cooked. Still hard. Drinks are okay. I got the same drink from the Kearny Mesa location and that location is much better. I understand why there is a line for that location and no line at the RB location. .50 more for no ice. I don't like having ice in my drinks because it is too cold for me. But having to pay .50 more is a pain read more
Discovered this place when I went to get pho next door (Pho Hoang Express, another yummy place!). Wasn't expecting much as most boba places all taste similar to me but I loved Daboba!!!! Their roasted brown sugar series was so good. I am a classic kind of girl (classic milk tea or just boba and fresh milk) and I just loved their roasted brown sugar boba and fresh milk. They are not slow but they aren't speedsters either. Card only, no cash. Place itself is very aesthetically pleasing and instagramable if that is what you are looking for in addition to good boba! read more

Great addition to RB right off the 15 freeway! Located in a plaza with lots of parking. Wide ranging menu. Service was prompt and efficient, drinks came out in a timely manner. Cool interior with high ceilings and an airy, spaced out vibe. We all enjoyed our drinks. Overall, a convenient and pleasant experience. read more
Place is super clean , very nice !! Great location right off the freeway ! If you have never been.... And it's your first time getting Bobba , I recommend you take some time to look at the menu to see if something interest you! I mean peeps go crazy for this stuff . I had no idea what to order so I went with what the attendant suggest ... Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh milk . I mean it looks like a Caramel Frappuccino, why not ! I mean it wasn't bad at all but it wasn't my cup of tea. I'd like to try a fruit drink instead next time . The wait was very long , 20 minutes plus, the staff seemed to not have a sense of rush or pressure to deliver drinks at a faster rate . read more

Fast service! We barely sat down before our drinks were ready. Lots of seating indoors. Tables and chairs were clean. Well decorated. Lots of drinks to choose from on the menu! They do charge an extra 50 cents if you want no ice. Half ice is no extra charge. read more
My daughter and I stopped in this Daboba on 5/9/23 around noon for a quick treat. I had a free Yelp item and in addition to that we bought a Mango Frappe (Yogurt) for my daughter. I tried hers and it was great! Very refreshing and lots of mango chunks within! We had a very nice employee help us named Kimi and loved the interior decorations at Daboba. I'd return here if I lived in the area. read more
Daboba has all your boba cravings ready for under $7/drink! Brown sugar, cheese series, frappes and fruit teas, hot or cold etc. The interior is bright and welcoming, and the staff are kind and make each drink to order. I didn't make any adjustments, but they do have ice/sugar levels and dairy free substitutes available. I appreciate that their cup linings show all their locations, but also this menu has a drink series special to the RB location coming soon. Plenty of lot parking outside - it's a nice place to catch up with people or to treat yourself. So far (compared to mira mesa and convoy) my favorite location in SD county. read more
I don't really drink boba that much so I'm not the biggest specialist but I will say this place is bomb! I got the milk choco boba, I think that's what it's called. I really enjoyed all the different flavors in my drink. I mixed them all up together and It was very refreshing. At the bottom of the cup I can taste caramelized sugar which I'm not a big fan of but I really enjoyed it. Overall presentation of the drink is great and taste even better! Also, the staff welcomed us in, super polite. They have tables and seats you can sit down. In the back they have a cool sign of the restaurant. read more

Came to this location during their Soft Opening. Very busy when we arrived with a line out the door, but the line moved relatively quick as we were able to order within about 10-15 mins of waiting. Location isn't very wide but is surprisingly long, which was a bit odd. Quite a few seats but most were taken up by other patrons who were waiting on their orders. Interior has a decent look to it, on closer inspection you can tell some of the items were placed with some haste as they still had their price tags still attached. Nothing I can criticize but definitely thought it was funny. We ordered the Roasted Brown Sugar Pearl Fresh Milk which came with the Honey Golden Pearl Green Milk Tea. Both were good but I definitely enjoyed the flavors of the roasted Brown Sugar more, but neither of the drinks blew me away in terms of flavor. One of the biggest flaws, which I sincerely hope they fix as time goes on is their drink carriers and lids. Nearly lost all 4 of my drinks while I was walking them to the car since the carrier is far too shallow and not secure enough to hold the drinks. Luckily, we were able to keep them upright long enough to make it to my car with no thanks from the carrier itself. As for the lids, they also didn't secure very nicely and have a weird opening for a straw where you basically have to rip open this flap to get them in, which also takes off the lid itself in the process. Quite the hassle after narrowly escaping a mess of dropping the drinks before. Hopefully, they take this feedback and change where they order their supply as these will most likely upset other customers with the same issue, and lead to a far worse outcome. Unlikely that I'll go out of my way to come here again, but it was a pleasure to try none the less, excluding the hassles. read more

Service was great. Lovely little boba shop. But the milk tea was meh. Tea flavor was nice and strong. But the milk part tastes like low quality half and half. It kinda holds onto your tongue and throat. Makes your throat tight after drinking it... don't know if that makes sense... read more
