Cafe Granada is located just around the corner from a family pool. This was our to go place on our last stay at RB inn. The cafe offers a little bit of everything, sweet treats, savory bagels, breakfast sandwiches and also a few varieties of quiches. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They pack all the food in boxes and bags for you if you wish to take it to the pool or to your room. There is a beautiful courtyard with a few fountains right outside of the cafe with a couple of tables and benches. Its a truly idyllic setting for a meal. read more

Paid by card. Cafe Granada is located inside Rancho Bernardo Inn and offers hotel self parking and valet parking. I went here on a Friday morning and it was busy with hotel guests and golfers. I didn't have to wait long to place my order. They serve Starbucks coffee, sell Mostra coffee, and have a variety of pastries for sale. Although they sell Starbucks coffee they don't accept the app. They also have cups, desserts, and other assorted kitchen and gift items in the shop. I ordered 3 pastries and 2 drinks and had some issues ordering. (The cashier had a hard time counting how many pastries I wanted and the worker making the drinks seemed to have been making the wrong ones for other guests.) Although I repeated my pastry order about 3 or 4 times, I still ended up with one wrong pastry: I ordered the pistachio muffin and got a blueberry. The muffin was still good and so was my Mexican mocha. Overall I may go back here if I'm in the area but hopefully they train the servers a little more before then. read more

This cafe has everything - Starbucks drinks to pastors to snacks and souvenirs. The women working there are so nice! I came here everyday during my 3 days work conference. I will say, it's a bit slow and usually just one person making the drink while the other makes the food. They do it one order at a time so it can be a bit of a wait. read more

We came here yesterday during our stay at this beautiful Inn. I love the selection of different food items to pick from. The cashier was very nice and friendly and so is the rest of the staff. We got the tuna croissant sandwich which we shared together since it was so big it could feed two people. They also have ice cream bars and delicious dessert items and gift items. I will remember to come here when we stay at this hotel next time. read more

This cafe inside Rancho Bernardo Inn has Starbucks! I found out on the last day I was there, otherwise I would've been there everyday. The lady working the counter (I think her name is Elizabeth?) is super sweet and cheerful. I ordered breakfast to go, and she even made the ham and egg sandwich over for me because a piece of bagel broke off when she was toasting it. I also had the brown sugar latte, and even though I've had the same drink at so many different Starbucks, it was by far the best at this location. I think because the lady made it like she is supposed to, and the Starbucks I usually go to just whip it up in a hurry. I really enjoyed getting the coffee here, it is literally the little things that impress me nowadays. Stop by if you want a take out breakfast or Starbucks while you're staying at RB Inn. Love this semi secret place, but is well known I cannot keep secrets even more when they are sweet and pretty. Or pretty sweet, like this amazing coffee shop/patisserie/gift shop. I love coming here regularly to work when not in the office. The serotonin levels increase with the sound of birds, smell of flowers, freshness of grass and lucious plants and soft music too. Very very pleasant. The people working here are all super amazing and the pastries are the best you can get around the area. I am always so happy spending time here. Coffee is Starbucks. Not sure why this is so highly rated although it is a great cafe for those people staying at the Rancho Bernardo Inn. The coffee is just Starbucks coffees for the most part and the breakfast options are very limited. The employees are very friendly and the ambiance is cute if you walk around. This is a tucked away little coffee/snack shop inside RB Inn. I only knew about it because of Yelp (thank you Yelp!). They're located to the right of the main reception check in area inside the lobby. I was happy they were open on the 4th of July. The nice girl working was welcoming and kind. We spent the day at the spa/pool and they don't serve coffee there. It's a bit of a trek to get here from the spa but worth it if you're jonesing for coffee. My iced coffee was made quickly. They use Starbucks beans I believe. The price was fair and the coffee tasted pleasant and smooth. The condiment section was organized, clean, and well stocked. Loved the little jars of mini honey too! There are also a few quaint tables with chairs by the windows. I think you can save $1 off coffee refills if you re use the same cup? So this would be a nice place to perhaps get some reading/work done if you're in the area. read more

I found out about this cafe through Yelp and I have to say it has the cutest little nook for studying or keeping away from the heat. It is a bit hidden since its located inside of the RB inn, but if you turn to the right from the entrance you'll easily find a pathway to the cafe. There are only about four tables inside but each of them have outlets and fast wifi to use. The cafe offers coffee made from Starbucks coffee beans and a couple of pastry options as well. The barista inside the shop was very kind and cheerful, which I appreciated a lot. I tried the honey b latte , which was sweet but not overwhelmingly sugary. I would recommend this cafe if you happen to be in the area and want to try a new environment for some quiet reading or to get some work done read more

I went here almost everyday I was staying at the hotel. It's a tiny cafe located next to the hotel concierge and they have all the essentials. They have coffee, lattes, teas, juices, pastries and breakfast sandwiches. The food is a little pricey but that's a given inside a resort. I had the ham/egg/cheese sandwich and bacon/egg/cheese sandwich ($5) another time. Both were good. They're pre-made but they toast it for you and it's actually pretty tasty. My favorite thing about this place was the view. You can eat your breakfast inside and have a great view of the garden. They also sell souvenirs such as candies, snacks and stone glasses/sauces. This cute little cafe is hidden inside The Rancho Bernardo Inn. There is pastries, coffee, tea, a little shop, some adorable little tables and a patio right outside. I went there for a meeting and cozied up with a nicely made vanilla soy latte in of of the quaint window seats with a bench. The free wifi onsite was speedy and the barista was a total sweetheart and did her company proud with a solidly made drink. If I find myself out that way and needing to work I'll go here rather than a Starbucks any day. Although its definitely more for members, golfers, guests - I would shimmy in there for the space anyways. Coffee cost was on par with chains. read more

My husband and I visited this cafe frequently during our stay at the RB Inn. It's such a gem! A hidden gem - not only a coffee shop but a really neat gift shop, too. At the Inn for a business conference, I discovered Cafe Granada and its wonderful staff. Baristas Ambra and Christy are fantastic: they made me feel at home right away. Pastries are made fresh and the strawberry streudel is a must. Aubrey, the Resort Club and biz dev manager, stepped in and helped me select some locally-made chocolates for the office and a candle for my wife. For a road-weary traveler accustomed to bland hotel coffee and staff that treat you like a commodity, Cafe Granada is a refreshing reminder that travel can actually be a real treat. When I go back to San Diego, I will stay here for three reasons: Ambra, Christy, and Aubrey. But in case you don't get to meet them in person, there are plenty of other reasons to visit: golf, crackling fireplaces, and charming gardens. Go. Stay. Enjoy. read more

We recently discovered this gem at the Rancho Bernardo Inn; the best news - it's open to the public. A wonderful coffee shop featuring a nook, with very comfortable seating, overlooking a tranquil garden. They offer Starbucks coffees, various bottled drinks, and a variety of confections and sandwiches. Also, the array of gifts that line the walls are very impressive; one-of-a-kind presents that are reasonably priced. It's truly a very quiet setting - the perfect place to read that great novel you've been trying to finish. read more

This is my favorite spot for my daily latte. They have wonderful baristas who will be willing to answer any question you have they are extremely kjowledgable. I really enjoy the passteries here as well they are always incrediably fresh! I also like the seating because when I need to study or catch up on work there is plenty of outlets and free wifi which is best when I want to enjoy my coffee and multi task. My company hosts many conferences every year at Rancho Bernardo and this cafe serves up a truly fantastic vanilla latte. They serve Starbucks coffee, so I always forget and expect a standard Starbucks vanilla latte, but the flavor and foam quality takes me by surprise every time. They must make their own vanilla syrup because its just fantastic. I never fail to get one for the road when I'm leaving, for one last taste. read more
