Sometimes I don't want to get out of my car, just to get back in. I was able to order through the mobile app. The inside has tables where you can chill, study, or work. All the workers seem friendly. I love that they have a ton of BOGO deal which is an awesome way to try out some of their drinks with a friend. I don't drink coffee, but I love their matcha. Their matcha is rich in flavor. Their banana matcha is delicious and pairs really well. The banana cream is nice and sweet. The coconut matcha is nice and refreshing. I got to try their new einspanner matcha. Ahead of the Da Vien opening up in Milpitas, NorCal, of course I had to come down to OC to see what the hype was all about. With some of the best marketing in the game, the Da Vien brand name undoubtedly is firmly entrenched in everyone's heads, including mine, so just finally seeing so many in person driving around the area was quite mind boggling. For no particular reason, I decided to stop at this random one in Cypress to finally see for myself. This particular branch is spacious and airy, and kind of reminds me of a Burger King or Carl's Jr. with the layout. I'm not from this area, so I'm not sure what it used to be, but I'd be willing to bet it was a former fast food chain location. I could totally envision this being a popular spot for students and workers to set up their laptops to get some serious work done. Heck, I know I certainly would! The staff is quick, efficient, relatively friendly, and gets the job done. Since this location is pretty established already, there wasn't a line in the early evening when I visited, and everything went without a hitch. Oh, and what did I order, do you ask? Since it was my first time here, I wanted to ease myself into it, so I got something simple, yet one of their "signature" items. Large Matcha Cream Coffee with 30% sugar, and no ice was on tap! And let me tell you, the hype is absolutelly warranted! The taste was just as good if not better than advertised. I can't wait to try many of the other offerings! It was definitely worth the time and effort, and I genuinely look forward to patronizing the branch closer to home on a regular basis! Perhaps I'll camp out there with my laptop to "work from home!" Came here for the midweek BOGO for the matcha einspanner. Drink was delicious, not too sweet but also not very earthy. The einspanner foam had a little saltiness to it, it was perfect. I prefer my matcha more earthy, but the creaminess of the drink was good. Service was fast since I placed the order thru the app and the drink was done within minutes. There's plenty of seating inside the cafe, but it does get crowded as the day goes on. I studied here for a couple hours and it wasn't too loud. read more

While staying at the family house where my sisters and I grew up, my younger sis and I decided to go on an evening walk through nearby neighborhoods to conjure up good memories of familiar and favorite places from a long time ago, such as houses where schoolmates used to live in, favorite but long gone stores and fast food places that were tucked deep in our minds. While still out and about, I suddenly got a great idea to find a close place for a boba drink. This sounded good to my sis, but the closest place that was open was a mile away. Sis wanted to go on a brisk walk anyway, so off we ventured. Da Vien Coffee in a stand alone shop with a good amount of seating. Even though I ended up visiting Da Vien 5 times total over a span of 30 days when I intermittently stayed at the family home, the only drink I ever ordered was the lychee jasmine tea with boba with 30% sweetness and less ice. Yes, I think the mix of real thick lychees (two real lychees without the seeds), with bits of lychee at the bottom along with boba, is so refreshing that I highly recommend this drink! Plus the drink was priced decently at $6 (plus another 85 cents of boba). Lots of parking is available in the shared parking lot that is for the nearby businesses. This place also has a drive through for those of you in a hurry. The inside of the shop is inviting, with lots of light and tables - it's a great place to meet with friends. The order counter is staffed by quick and welcoming employees. I wish I could say that the orders were always correct, but they weren't. A couple of times I had ordered and paid for boba, and had to remind them after they called my name that the order was supposed to include boba. The menu does not have a lot of items on it, but it does include matcha lattes, fruit teas, a milk tea, coffees and regular lattes. Twelve different add-ons are on the menu and can be ordered to enhance your drink. read more

This place is incredibly disappointing... I've come here a number of times and the drinks have been getting worse. Just today, I decided to finally do something about my watered down drink and ask for a remake. However, I didn't expect the workers to refuse to remake or exchange it. I'm not sure if it's company policy or if they personally didn't want to remake it, but I really don't understand the workers unwillingness to help customers who paid full price for sloppy drinks. Service 5/5: The drive thru moved very quickly and the barista was so kind to answer my questions about the drinks since it was my first time here. Congrats Da Vien on their second drive thru location! Parking: There's a medium sized parking lot. Finding a spot can either be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: Instead of going through their drive thru, I wanted to sit inside. I thought their Stanton location was big, but this is probably their largest location. The inside is spacious with a lot of seating. Very clean and modern. Perfect spot for a hangout and to get some work done. It wasn't too busy for a Thursday. Service: I mobile ordered ahead. There's a self ordering kiosk on the left of the line, and the register is on the right of the line. The only interaction I had was with the cashier to pick up my order. Drinks: I picked up coffee for my cousins and I. My go-to is the Egg Cream Coffee. I love how the sweet foam balances with the bitterness of the Vietnamese coffee. I've been getting 50% sweetness with easy ice. Their matcha is also premium. New(ish) Vietnamese coffee shop that is such a great addition to the Cypress neighborhood! We ordered via the kiosk but were still greeted by one of the staff! Place is spacious, clean, and seemed like a great place to study and do some work. I got the banana matcha and my mom got the Vietnamese coffee, both with 50% sugar and we could tell they were made with quality ingredients. Everything was just right, so there were no adjustments needed but I saw a little sign that if we're not satisfied with our drink they are happy to remake it! This coffee shop has been popping up all over and I have one near home in Cerritos on South and now I see there's one in Cypress on Cerritos Ave. What a coincidence. Since I was in Cypress this morning, I figured why not stop by to get a pick me up. I wanted to try this coconut iced blended coffee my son told me about. The two things I like in drinks are coconut and blended, so I had to try it. It was good if you like coconut and lots of toasted coconut flakes. The nice thing about this location is it used to be a Carl's Jr. so they have a drive thru for convenience. You can also preorder online. The location in the City of Cerritos does not have a drive thru and it's smaller, so if you were to hangout and have your drink there, not as much room. I didn't get to try during this visit, but for sure next time I will try their croissant breakfast sandwiches. This could be my new go to coffee spot. read more
