First time at this Cypress location. Inside is roomy and there's a hip & modern atmosphere. The service was friendly and drinks were up promptly. The only con here was it was a hot day over 100 degrees, and the air conditioning was having a challenging time keeping the interior at a comfortable temperature. My banana matcha was yummy as always and contained the perfect ratio of ice to beverage. I would definitely return to this location in the future. read more

Da Vien is one of my favorites, and I was super thrilled that there was one right behind the hotel that we were staying while we were in SoCal last week. We visited here two days in a row! Lol They have a drive-thru, but both days that we went-- there was a cone blocking it saying that it's closed. I don't know if they ever have the drive-thru open normally. The building looks like it used to be a fast food place like Carls Jr., I think...? Service is friendly and pretty quick. You can order with a barista or on their kiosk. Egg Coffees are delish and strong. The Banana Lattes were so yummy! I absolutely love it!! The space was clean with plenty of seating. Lots of people there on their computers working or studying. This is also their biggest location with an aesthetic interior, abundant seating, plenty of parking, so perfect for getting work done. Around 7:00 AM, the café is usually quiet, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a peaceful morning with a cup of coffee. I normally order my coffee with 50% caffeine because it works better for me. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask for it this time, so I ended up getting the regular strength. It was a little too strong for me, and I felt some heart palpitations and discomfort afterward. That was completely my mistake, not the café's. Their egg coffee is also very delicious and definitely worth trying. It is rich, creamy, smooth, and has a wonderful balance between the strong coffee flavor and the sweet egg cream on top. It is one of the drinks I really enjoy whenever I come here. The drinks are beautifully presented, and the atmosphere is relaxing as always. I'll definitely be back--next time I'll just remember to order my usual 50% caffeine. I used to love going to 7 Leaves to get my Vietnamese coffee fixes. And then BAM!! I discovered Da Vien recently in the neighborhood and haven't stopped going there daily ever since. My favorite is the DV Coffee with the thick cream top, their matcha Einspanner, banana latte, and their new strawberry cream oat matchas. Their matcha flavor is very delicate and has a similar flavor to melted Haagen Daz matcha ice cream. I like them even though I normally prefer the dark and earthy uji matcha flavors. I also appreciate how quickly my drinks are ready and very very little waiting involved. This location has nice seatings inside and also a drive thru. It's also one of the very few places that opens before 0700 that's not a Starbucks. Definitely a great business move on their part. If you're looking for a well crafted 7 Leaves alternative that's not too sweet, this place is it! The pricing is also reasonable and the variety is great. I hope they offer Thai iced tea in the future. Regardless, I think this spot is a solid 5/5! read more
