Upon arriving at CVS this morning to do some shopping, an employee approached me to ask if I needed assistance and helped me locate several items I was looking for. This would have been a 5-star review had it not been for the efforts of the cashier, Jose, to rush me during check-out. As I was self-bagging my purchased items, Jose repeatedly told me to tap "yes" or "no" on the touch screen and I responded "Just a minute, OK" since I could not do two things at the same time. CVS may be evaluating cashiers on how quickly they process check-out transactions, but customers do not like being rushed. That is why I am awarding 4 stars rather than 5 for my customer experience. read more

I've never had an issue with checking out at a register. I've never waited longer than 10 minutes for my monthly prescription, and they always seem to have whatever I went in there to look for. I agree with Marlon. It's a CVS. What did you expect? read more

This store is open 24 hrs and they even have a little grocery section (fruits and stuff). Sign-up online at the CVS website to receive coupons (i.e. $5-10 off a $40 purchase) and purchases over $65 (online) get free shipping. I like CVS but do not like their return procedure (or lack thereof) on items bought online. They did not want to return my item even though the receipt says I can return items at ANY CVS location. A simple return transaction turn into something long and complicated along with a dose of attitude from the associate who did not want to return my item. But I stood my ground and got the item returned (woohoo!). read more

This is actually a CVS Corporate issue. I went to pick up my prescription and the Pharmacist just went to lunch, saying she was heading out as I was waiting for the cashier to help me. The employee asked my name and got my prescription, then said I am sorry, I can't sell you this and I asked why. She said I need a consult and even if I decline the consult it can't be sold without one because it is an antibiotic. I now have to come back an hour later to pick it up. I called the store manager and she said they get the complaint every week. Corporate headquarters was closed because it was 3:00 pm and they are on the east coast, but that will be my next call tomorrow. read more

The store is fine, and everything you expect to get from CVS pharmacy is there! The shelves were fully stocked. The pharmacy was always really helpful, quick, communicative, and efficient. I never had to wait in line (I go on off times). A worker checked in with me to make sure I was finding everything okay. The cashier was professional and asked if I needed any additional help after the transaction was complete. There's also plenty of parking in the lot. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is it's not aaamazinggg, but it is everything I need and expect from CVS. read more

I didn't even want to sit down on the toilet. It was that bad. There was no toilet seat covers, trash was all over the floors. Trash was over full. There was blood on the floor. These pharmacy techs are incompetent and delusional. They are very rude and do not even know how to do their own jobs. The only person who offered to help me with my prescription that was wrongfully filled was the pharmacist. Every one of the pharmacy techs said I was wrong but didn't even bother to look my prescription order up. They were also rude to fiancé who tried to pick up my prescription in the first place. Some grocery items are comparable to supermarket prices, and well/call - type liquors are reasonably priced too, even less if you have an Extrabucks card. However, on two occasions, I have asked employees for help in finding an item for me, then NEVER saw them again. They disappeared in the back, or what? But others have been more helpful. During the day they have too many checkers, and at night not enough. Seems like they always have some kinks to work out but at least they are 24 hours. read more

If I could rate this pharmacy a -0, then I would. This is the most HORRIBLE pharmacy ever. The lines are ALWAYS long no matter what time of the day you come in. The employees at the pharmacy do NOT look happy and you can tell that they do not like their job. Each time I go into this CVS, whoever greets me doesn't greet me with a smile, instead, I m greeted what a cold greeting. Mind you, I have gone to this CVS at least 4 times wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps an employee was having a bad day, if I go later in the day the line would be shorter or if I go earlier in the day the line would be shorter. But, nope! CVS HQ: Clean house or close this pharmacy down. I've never had a smooth go through here. I just had to drive home, print out receipt that my doctor did in fact sent my cold medications here, and drive back, only to hear "oh, we actually just received this, you can wait now" I've been to really good pharmacy's and some bad. This one is just soo far of the scale that I just wish management would get a grip, and shut this horrendous place down. FYI 20 minutes later, I'm still standing here waiting. read more

This place is overpriced in most things they sell, but the worst part about it is that they have TERRIBLE inventory management. Every time I have stepped in there for anything, the shelves look bare and completely unattended. Someone needs to manage inventory better. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. This CVS had the Walnut Creek police department call me because I called a store that is advertised as being open 24hrs. I called multiple times because noone answers the phone. Open 24 hrs means just that. If you are going to pick and choose the services you offer during certain times it'd be advisable to post it on your site. Don't be lazy and not want to do your job by simply answering a call then have the POLICE DEPT call me as if I'm breaking some sort of law by attempting to patronize a business that is 24HRS. Dang, my experiences with most CVS's have been good but one particular employee was a piece of work. My senior mother forgot to put in her 30% off coupon after she was rung up. My mother asked the employee Marjan politely to redo the transaction and she rudely and quickly responded no because she was too busy and it would take too long. My mom is non confrontational but has had other employees do this for her so she didn't understand why she wouldn't redo it. Marjan threw out a random number that she could reimburse my mom which didn't make any sense so my mom tried to add it up herself what the discount would have been. The woman started tapping on the counter and slapping a particular item of ours around to show us how impatient she was. My mom just let it go after she "reimbursed" her but the amount wasn't what she should have gotten for the discount since we hastily added it up. All this is to say, she made this a really nasty experience for us and my mother was in tears on the way back to the car. Please train this employee to have more respect and patience for customers read more

Everytime I come in here I leave wanting to literally scream. It's been remodeled to look nice, and the staff greet you when you come in, but that's where it stops. One time I tried to pick up photos, and got my head about ripped off for disturbing the woman in the photo department, who I believe is a manager. Then I asked politely when it was not busy AT ALL if I could get a nice bottle of tequila from the locked case, and TWO cashiers told me to ask that same unfriendly, volatile woman with short brown hair behind the photo lab to unlock it for me. She refused to make eye contact, and helped two photo customers who were waiting after me. I think she is trying to juggle everything and I get that. Then when I asked the cashier again at check out, he said oh she has keys...then literally nothing. This is a grown man, just forced to stay at his register I would assume so I understand that but I just said forget it, had to bag my own things by literally asking to be handed a bag to do so, And was generally baffled by the lack of hustle, initiative or any form of professionalism from EVERY staff member present. Understaffing sucks, but figure it out Jesus Christ. I'll be going to buy the rest of my groceries at another stop due to this incompetence. Please train your employees, or at least tell them not to be deer in the headlights, you have lost about 10 sales due to general rudeness at this location. My employer, a veterinarian, never could get through to the pharmacy, even after I spoke with the manager. She obviously has no influence or control over how inefficient the pharmacy is, how they do not answer their phones and keep even the prescribers holding forever. This store has everything from pain relievers to bubblegum. Open 24 hours if you need milk or toilet paper at 3:00 in the morning as well as 3:00 in the afternoon. If other reviews cite awful experiences, honestly I have had one or two (check-out lines at the grocery store are worse and missing the green light because the car in front of you goes so slow is the worst). I get it. The frustration is real but I'd like to think the positive outweighs the negative. Gary is amazing, always a smile on his face. He is polite and efficient. I want to update my review of the staff at the CVS pharmacy. From one star to five stars. Not sure what happened but wow, friendly, courteous, speedy and knowegable. I've never written a review before and I signed up for Yelp just to review this store. My experience was as normal as any CVS experience. Except for the cashier, Jose who was incredibly dismissive. He asked if I found everything okay as is customary at a checkout line however after that he was very short with me. My gift card wasn't working and he told me 'I don't know what to tell you' not even giving me any help or making an effort to alleviate the situation. The entire time he was clearly trying to get me out of his checkout line without any subtlety. Finally I asked for the manager, Marsha who was very helpful and entered the card manually which got it to go through. I really appreciated Marsha's help, however Jose could definitely work on his customer service. read more

Absolutely Terrible! Prescriptions lost, not filled (at least 5 or more times in the last few months.) Doctors (more than one, and more than once) said they never got e-mail requests for refills. Yesterday I found out that after my doc had sent my prescription in for the second time, they lost it for the second time. At first, I wondered if problems were with dr. offices, but when same problems happened with two different docs . . . I moved all my Rx yesterday. I cannot count on them to get their jobs done and am, frankly, tired of having to follow-up and supervise every Rx to be sure it gets filled. (At least 3 times it took more than 5 days!) Also, pharmacy staff are RUDE, dismissive. Manager no help, dismissed my complaints concerns, and did not return calls. Do NOT subject yourself to this. read more

Lacking customer service! The staff seems annoyed you are there. The wait time is always 15 or so minutes longer than they tell you. The woman who does consultation is the only friendly staff and seems to want to genuinely provide assistance. The rest just seem grumpy. I won't go back! This place is the worst. They run out of meds. They don't have auto refill meds ready. They auto dial you that meds are ready but they aren't when you get there. Lines are insanely long and you wait forever. People look miserable at their jobs and don't smile. I will ignore the poor service to get my prescription before i go gray but thats a no go here.
