Today it took more than 1 1/2 hours to get a flu shot. They ignored me for 10 minutes, then the woman left without saying a word. I waited, until they had to do something, then the pharmacist man said come back In half an hour. I did. I stood and waited another 5-10 minutes. A woman asked for info and I was told to sit down. I asked if there was paperwork to fill out. She lied and said NO. I waited.The pharmacist came out from behind the counter and waited on two people who came in after me the second time I was there, and he gave them their shots. I was told to get on line and pay. I said why didn't you tell me to go on line instead of waiting. I was told I had no right to be rude. I gave the same info as before and was told I had nothing to pay. It was covered by insurance. I was given paperwork to fill out. I filled out the paperwork. The pharmacist was irritated I was not finished and wanted the paperwork done. I was told to sit and wait. I wasted another 10 minutes. Then the pharmacist gave me the shot while I was standing up, since it might take him a few minutes to give me the shot sitting down. What a mess. NEVER get a flu shot in this horrible place. This is not first time the woman was extremely rude, so I am just fed up with this location for CVS. NEVER go here. Who knows what else they are messing up. Huh. I'm pretty confused why this CVS got such bad reviews. I mean it's pretty difficult to find a "good" pharmacy in general because they're always slammed, but I always found that the pharmacy workers were polite and kept their word when they said they would call me back. Sure, there's a line but what else do you expect when every single pharmacy is like that? The front house CVS workers are actually super nice and always try really hard not to make you wait, even if there's a short line! A lady today was checking me out and told me I had a spider on my neck, in which I flipped out and flicked it on the counter. She killed it for me and I was grateful she was so calm about it because I would have had a heart attack! Another time, the guy cashier told me about a coupon I could use and was really nice enough to grab it off (a chocolate package) for me. They're definitely very kind staff! read more

I was there last weekend to get my booster. While waiting for my information to be uploaded, I observed a tech filling a prescription. I was shocked to see the tech was not wearing gloves, nor did the tech pour the pills on the tray and use the gadget that looks like a tongue depressor to count and place the pills in the bottle. The tech used bare hands to push the pills out, then answered a phone call, pick up a pen (who knows who's hand was on the either or both phone and pen. Don't forget, they also handle money...How do you feel about that? When the pharmacist came to give me the shot, I asked the if they were supposed to wear gloves, she said no. Hmmm, after she finished giving shots, I saw her share my comments with the tech. I don't care, in this critical time about being cautious, don't you think the pharmacy should be an example of what to do for safety purposes. Wrong dosage given!! Beware! I spent Easter in the ER due to the wrong, almost lethal dosage of meds the pharmacists gave me. I tried to get them to pay my ER bill but the lady called me and nicely asked me what happened, then she got very mean and said, " if you sue us we will say your lying and that that's not what the pharmacists told you.. its our word against yours honey & were bigger and have more lawyers then you".. after reading online how often they screw up prescriptions and hurt people i reported them to the BBB, and will never go again!!!!! They really should be reprimanded for their errors! read more

Not than any CVS stores are outstanding, but I would say that this one is especially bad. Service is always painfully slow, and I wouldn't say that the staff members go out of their way to be helpful or friendly. It is in a convenient location, but the parking lot can be pretty busy and dangerous. read more

Horrible experience each time I've gone here. There's a lady, couldn't get her name and she doesn't wear a name tag, she has very poor customer service skills and was unbelievable rude each time I've gone. She likes to also talk down upon me like I'm stupid when she can't comprehend simple, short questions. She could've helped me more than one occasion, but acted rude instead and instead she couldn't do anything to help me. Rose, however, was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, I won't go back to the pharmacy here due to many bad experiences with 2 main women here, Mina K. and the other woman whom resembles her in style and appearance. read more

My problem with this CVS is the one check out lady they have. She has some sort of personal problem. She walked straight into me in the store, and when she went to check me out, she takes her hand and wipes her nose and then checks out my stuff. She just has some mental or emotional problem. Always sick or something and complains about it. They should give some other work to do. I won't go back to this one unless the others don't have what I need, and will check Walgreens, first. She really needs to be moved to another job away from the public. read more

I have been coming to this store for a long time Andy experiences where never the greatest. I haven't been in here for about two months and stopped by to pick up somethings. Oh my god it's like a total 360. It looks less cluttered. It's a lot cleaner. The staff in the front has improved big time. I think the lady that helped me was new because I never seen her before. She had like Reddish brown hair and she was super nice talk about A+ customer service. Cvs you just won my business back from the Walgreens. Keep it up. read more

Slooooow .Should just post something how they process medication so people wont end up waiting for a LOOOOONG TIME! Small selection too... OLD and not updated. Just go to walgreens across the street the pharmacist will give you lots of information bout the medication unlike these drug dealers just hand out medication without even educating you or teaching you bout the medication... My girlfriend had a prescription and had her tooth extracted . This pharmacy told us the prescription was invalid due to a box not being marked. Took the prescription too a nearby Walgreens didn't have a problem. They also didn't have either prescriptions and wouldn't be able to find out if a nearby cvs had them by calling or any way of checking for that matter. We would have to go back to the dentist correct the prescription and drive around to different cvs locations but Walgreens filled it in under 15 minutes read more

Workers here are 100% racist if you aren't white or Asian. I went in today to purchase makeup because I was on my lunch break, couldn't make it to Sephora at the mall to purchase my regular brand and needed product for tonight. I grabbed the two things I needed and caught the tall, slender Caucasian woman whom appeared to be a manager staring me down. I smiled and went on to the drink and snack section to browse for something light since I was taking my lunch. This lady sent one of her workers to follow me around the store, even after I got in line he got in line as well and stood right behind me, watching me until I got my receipt and walked out. The cashier, short lady with brown hair, knew what he was doing and actually laughed. So extremely creepy and uncomfortable. I didn't have a purse, just my car keys debit card and iPhone, how I was I going to pocket any of the cheap stuff I was purchasing? I will never be coming back here, will get the name of the manager from the CVS I go to in Gardena and make a further complaint. This particular branch needs to either be shut down or have a mass lay off and actually TRAIN their employees. The walgreens across the street is excellent as most are, word to the wise go there instead. read more

if i could give no stars i would. this is by far the worst pharmacy with the worst employees. i need a prescription refill and my doctor sent over the request. the pharmacy denied the request. when i asked why, they said it's because my insurance didn't cover it so my doc needs to call the insurance before it can be approved. i called my doctors office and my doctor was so confused. so we did a three way call and she asked the pharmacy what they were talking about. THEN the pharmacist changed her story and said "we can't refill it because she doesn't have a physical"....which is COMPLETELY different then what she told me. once we hung up with the pharmacist, my doctor told me how they do this to loop around people. that's disgusting. the worst "business" i've ever seen. unfortunate that there's nothing we can do about it. owners should hire better pharmacists who have some morals and decency to them. read more
