And, up until my current experience this CVS has certainly been one of them. I have been coming here to vaccines for a number of years. But yesterday, I encountered a situation that completely dumbfounds me. Tell the story, I came in to get my COVID booster and my yearly flu shot. I made an appointment, I arrived on time, and I checked it on my phone. I went and sat down in the vaccine area, and the vaccine nurse continued to pass me by, giving other people their vaccines. Finally, I asked her what was going on, and she apologized, and directed me to the vaccination check-in point at the pharmacy counter. I go there and told them about my situation, and they looked up my appointment, it was confirmed. And, then I gave the young lady at the counter my insurance card. She told me the reason that the vaccination nurse hadn't given me my vaccines is because I would have to pay for them. She told me that the price of the COVID vaccine was $247.00 and the price for my flu shot would be $167.00 I had never heard of such a thing. I have insurance! Vaccines are covered! But, she confirmed that if I wanted any of the vaccinations I would have to pay for them. I told her I would go and talk to my insurance company, and left. Believing that she had made some sort of mistake, I simply made another appointment, for the next day, at the CVS on Pacific Coast Highway. I went in there at my appointment time, checked in, and I was immediately given both of my vaccines. No charge. Again, I have insurance, I should not be charged for my vaccines! I encountered absolutely no problem whatsoever. The pharmacist was extremely nice in helping me. So, I don't know what was going on with that pharmacy staff member? Whatever it is, they don't know how to do their job. She was nice to me, but she made a serious mistake. I think we all understand that if you have insurance, vaccines are covered. So, I truly don't know what went wrong. This is just something for you to think about if you ever go to this CVS to get a vaccine. It may happen to you.

The store is large, clean and very well organized. Nicely stocked. All departments are available and there is even a Starbucks inside. I was looking for something specific and couldn't find it. THEN, I came upon a wonderful employee named MAYA. She was stocking items and offered to walk to the areas the items might located. I showed a photo on my phone and she knew EXACTLY where it was located and more! I found more of what I wanted and the prices were fantastic. This employee went over and beyond to help me and I so appreciate it. Thank you, Maya! This Target is now my Target of choice!

Every interaction with Life Alert has shown professionalism and caring support. Sure, there were some odd things along the way but nothing that interfered with a quick response to activation of the system. One odd thing, and I must admit to not really knowing about any contract that was in place, was that seemingly all of a sudden there were fairly expensive monthly charges. I was told that the service was changed to month-to-month but never saw anything in writing. Cancellation of the service, when necessary, was quickly accomplished with no fuss at all.
